Thumbs up from a total snob
I am a makeup snob. I have stupidly high standards for cosmetic performance, and drugstore brands have let me down every single time I've given them a shot. So when I graduated from Covergirl to Sephora after college, I never looked back. My kit is full of Dior and YSL foundation, Armani concealer, Benefit brighteners, etc. I say this in order to grab the attention of my fellow makeup snobs: If you would never even consider Maybelline, this review is for you. Bloggers have raved about this product for a while, but I never bothered to check it out until a close friend and fellow product snob suggested it. Here are my findings: 1. It applies like the Armani Maestro Eraser liquid undereye concealer. This is very very essential, for those of us who hate the 5th hour cakiness of cream concealers but also hate the weak coverage and creasing of most liquid attempts. This eraser goes on with the Maestro's same thin liquid texture, without sinking into lines at all, and without losing opacity as you blend. 2. It is at least 50% more opaque than the Maestro. I was pretty stunned. Anything that can go on with that consistency but have noticeably better coverage is doubletake worthy imo. 3. The sponge applicator is better than you think. Firstly, it's antimicrobial, so you don't have to worry about the hygiene aspect. Secondly, its ability to blend the product is outstanding. I typically skip clumsy applicators like that, but with this, I do 80% of my application with that sponge tip, and then just finish with a good concealer brush to set it and blend out the edges. 4. It doubles as a highlighter. Every time I use this, I find myself seduced into just continuing the line of application from under my eyes out onto my cheekbones, brow bones, and nose bridge. A nice blending brush/sponge later, and there's this flawless highlight landscape to finish up, without settling badly into pores or caking up. 5. It sets beautifully with MUFE Micro HD powder and Shiseido translucent powder. It buffs out nicely, without chipping off into the brush. 6. It looks good without primer, which combined with its compact design and integrated applicator makes it an ideal purse dweller. 7. It worked on my thin but minimally wrinkled undereye area, and on my 60yo mother's more aged eye area. It's rare that I find a product that looks great on both our skin types, and I was impressed at how well it brightened her problem skin without caking or exacerbating the age marks. 8. It is lighter than you think, but cheap enough to test out different shades. 9. It lasts so much longer than you'd expect. I tested it on bare skin during a work-from-home day, just to see how the wear was, and was delighted to find it still working fairly well by the time I went to wash it off that night. I wore it again with a full face for a date night, and it looked flawless when I went to wash it off later. There are times when you don't want the totally opaque, nearly airbrushed look... but there are definitely times when you do. This eraser is now my official go-to product to pair with my Dior Airflash foundation, for those totally flawless skin look occasions. I could not recommend it higher, at very least as an experiment for the snobs among you.

So much better than expected!
This item is great! After trying many under eye products over the years, I quit bothering to wear any. They either made me breakout or they made my wrinkles more noticeable or both! Meanwhile the years have passed, I am old and--even worse--my C-pap mask has slowly created a crevice running under my eye and along my nose on the side of my face that I sleep upon. It looks like a runaway dark eye shadow and is not pretty. This product's soft applicator lets me fill in the crevice with brightness so that the dark crevice almost disappears. Momentarily, the wrinkles around my eye are then accented and more noticeable, BUT by gently tapping and blending the area with my finger, I achieve a good result. Then, to continue with overall blending, I apply under both eyes gently tapping again for the best effect. I recommend this product for mature women like me.

Part of my morning routine.
This concealer is loved by both my daughter and myself. I don’t wear foundation, but I do apply this to the shadows under my eyes. My daughter suffers from acne and uses this as a concealer before she applies her foundation. Both of us use this product every single day, and therefore this product is a part of our auto shipment and shows up every month, the price of this product is already amazing but as a part of our auto shipment, we get an additional 15% off and I love that it just shows up at my door each month. My daughter and I both have different skin tones, but this works perfectly for each of us in the manner that we need. I would highly recommend this product. This product is not greasy and it doesn’t get cakey like some concealer/foundations.

This is my favorite concealer
I have been using this concealer for years now. It is my favorite. It gives good coverage without looking cakey. The only problem I have with it is sometimes the sponge applicator gets gunky and it is harder to get the concealer to come out.

I couldn't believe how well this matched my complexion!
Such a perfect match to my complexion, that I wish I could have it in a foundation! I've never had anything match so perfectly before! Great product in general. Goes on smooth, not too thick or matte. And the applicator sponge thingy is genius! Keeping it sanitary is a concern ???? as you can't really wash it without soap and water entering the concealer.. but I try not to think about that ????

The only concealer I use
I've been using it for years. It goes on smoothly, covers skin tone issues, but is sheer. I do use foundation on top of it if I am going out because I'm older and need the moisturizer and coverage. When I was younger, the concealer was all I used. Highly recommend.

Not what I was looking for but works well enough
I don't have dark circles under my eyes. I got this because it stated that it helped with fine lines. It works well enough in that area but no better than other products I've tried. It's really light in color though. I bought the one that typcially would work for me and this is so much lighter than I expected. I actually need to go up a color or maybe even two. I don't use foundation, blush or anything like that. I use an under eye concealer and face powder. That's about it. As I said, it worked well enough but it's really made for just dark circles so I will look for something that suits me more.

Great concealer
This little roll up tube is a wonderful way to simply 'touch' the discoloration or red spot and it is becomes almost invisible.

Received already been opened/used product.
Having bought this many times before from Shoppers Drugmart I know what this product is to look like being freshly opened. I decided to order from Amazon as there was a coupon and it offered significant cost savings from the price currently offered at Shoppers. When I received this product the packaging was open and the product had clearly been used. Normally when this product is first opened the applicator brush at the top is white and clean. When I opened this product the applicator brush was full of concealer and there was concealer all over the lid. I would recommend this product, but I've learned my lesson and will not purchase again through Amazon.

A make up must have!
This is my go to under eye concealer as it never looks crepey on my middle aged skin. I ALSO have it in most colors as I use it when photographing commercial and portrait clients. I have a few others I like but all at least quadruple the cost

Sí dura más que otros y es fácil de llevar.
Me gusta que facilita el maquillaje. En ésta foto no use ningún producto precio a su aplicación. No sé si cambie usando primer o algo por el estilo porque no soy la mejor maquillando ???? y solo uso lo más básico. Aún así me gustó mucho, creo que sí dura más que los que encuentras en un lugar barato, y es fácil de aplicar. No ocupa demasiado espacio en mi bolsa. Lo seguiré comprando ya que si mejoró mi maquillaje y cubre mis ojeras, debo mencionar que no se cubren nunca por completo porqué mi piel es "transparente" pero si tiene cierta cobertura y durabilidad, cómo lo mencioné antes. Compré light para mi piel.

Impossible to use
As others have said (I should have listened!) this is impossible to use. After removing the large sticky barcode and the clear plastic film, I finally got to the applicator. But nothing comes out. I tried everything, including removing the sponge applicator to get to the (tiny) opening. No luck. This is the worst packaging I have ever seen, making it impossible to use the product.

This stuff is GOOD but the applicator is ridiculous
This stuff is GOOD but the applicator is ridiculous. I just pulled off the spongey covering and now the product dispenses up through a little tube. I found not being able to clean the provided applicator totally off putting so I'm glad it came off so easily! The product is very pigmented and pretty nice when blended out with fingers or a beauty blender. This is also super pigmented and pretty thick so it's not good for natural or minimalist makeup.
