Works but was too big

I had to give this product a three because it was too thick. I couldn't get the cover on over it. Good thing the orange border is made of foam because I was able to trim it with a carpet knife so it finally fit. Other than that, it was fine.

This filter fits perfectly and came at a great price. Double check your model number before you order but this fit my mower like the original part.

Poor fit relative to the OEM it "replaces."

Fatter in all dimensions than the OEM filter - really had to fight it to squeeze it in and close the filter cover. I won't buy this again.

Excess Foam

There is so much extra foam that the filter case won't close

does not fit

after one hour of sanding, utility blade slicing and sissors cutting finally got it in place. it is NOT the same dimensions as my Troy-bilt filter. I am checking to make sure rubber bits don't end up in my mower engine. I ordered two and will ask for a return for the unopened package. Not worth the time or potential damage to "trim-to-fit".

Filter clogged up after the first cut

Filter clogged up after the first cut of the season. Not sure why it didn't last but won't be buying this filter again as it may have been a lesser quality filter than I was expecting.
