Saving Big Bucks for DIY
Wow!! I bought this spool of trimmer line for ($28) from Amazon about mid-summer for my Black and Decker weed trimmer. The box stores want about $8 to 10$ for a 20ft replacement. I just rewound 2 spools in less than 30 minutes from this 'big boy' and I just saved $20. I have a 2 car garage that has a tiled floor (12x12 inch tile or 1ft tile). A quick pull from the end of the garage door for 20 tiles provides the 20 feet needed to re-wind onto the empty spool. I use a brick to hold down the lead end and unravel it to the measured 20ft. After cutting the measured length, yes, another brick it to hold it down, otherwise, it will recoil and will take time to straighten it out. At this point, if you are not ready to rewind onto the empty trimmer spool, you might want to save the spool from a Reynolds aluminum wrap (other types of spool) and drill a hole at each end of the spool to hold the starting and ending leads. It would be nice to have a gadget to manually rewind it onto empty spools. I am not a landscaper and I do a lot of trimming and edging on my property. The mount is primarily for landscaper's trucks, and I have yet to mount it, thinking about mounting it on a platform of couple pieces of 2x4's and metal bracers so that it can be moved as needed. Anyway, its a super buy if you don't mind a little effort of doing it yourself.

Good quality, good value.
What can I say? It is the right size and shape for my trimmer. It is high quality and lasts a long time, does not tangle in the trimmer. There is no waste with fancy packaging, so the price is reasonable. This is probably more than a lifetime supply :) but I don't like spending $6- 8 for a small spool each time I cut the weeds on the slope. In one summer, that can cost me more than the cost of this spool which will last me at least 10 years. For just trimming the yard, this would last 30 years, and I don't think I will be doing this when I am 100. :) Good investment. But be careful. Trimmer line comes in diameters and shapes. Make sure you check specs before you order.

great string
This is very good string it flows through the air very smooth meaning your machine doesn't vibrate like it does when you use strings that are square in shape or ribed, I use this string in a echo 260 and 265 weedeater it performs very well and it cuts very good ,it last as long as echo string. People will say use a .95 line but this .80 line performs and cuts just as good as the .95 line also with the .80 line you can put more string on the spool, i would buy this product made by this company again NOTE at a lawnmower dealer a 3 pound roll like this cost 35.00 plus tax easy choice

I tried two other replacement trimmer line and neither did the job. One would constantly break and I'd have to open the case and fix it. I'd spend 30 minutes on 5 min job. The other would strip off large pieces and then chop those off meaning I'd load the spool up and it would be empty before I'd finish the job. This role really works as the OEM that came with my B&D trimmer. And I will never have to buy another roll. Vendor shipped super fast as well. I look for value in purchases - This role of line solved a problem and speeds my yard work

Do not buy this weed beater string
This has got to be the worst weed beater string I've ever used in my life. It does not last long. It is not very durable. Do not buy! It does not do the job by name brand it's a lot better.

Great money saving option
This spool has saved me so much money! I could buy 3 ready-to-use trimmer spools for the price of this item, or I could buy this and wind my own string. So glad I chose this route, despite the laughs I get from my dad for having so much on hand. The joke is on you dad - I will never run out in the middle of a job anymore. Or maybe I'll just never run out at all! :-)

Seems to work well - easy to reload the spools when slipped onto a horizontal rod so it can feed off without twisting. Much better price per foot than the home store line. And won't need a reorder for quite a while.
