Maybe?
Wife likes a blindfold to help relax but they tend to slip up with rigorous activity. She is anti-harness so gag/blindfold combos typically end in protest. This padded blindfold still lets light through but it’s obscured really well. I’m thinking some faux fur on the inside would probably make it more comfortable and 100% black out. I added two rivets above the mouth opening but the material is very thin and breathable on its own so it isn’t really necessary. Still haven’t tried it yet but I think it’s a decent compromise between “basic blindfold” and “leather hood”

Very nice, but u need to know 1 thing...
Fun but very hot. I really like this, but had claustrophobic panic attacks when I couldn't breathe. Having a big mouth gag in while wearing this made it very difficult to breathe and I stared panicking over several long minutes of bondage and was not able to shake the feeling or get it to sunside. Also got very hot! I like this better with a breathable mouth gag or no gag at all. It is a bit warm fyi, but not horribly so. I used scissors to cut a small opening for my nose which solved the problem. But now I have to have the lights off to get a full sensation of darkness which is a big reason I bought this. It's a little tight on my head, but not uncomfortable, and if it was too big then it wouldn't work at all . I actually really like this it helps a lot to isolate the user in a bondage scenario. Just know about the lack of breathability if a large mouth gag is used at same time. Pair this with with ear plugs and a cheap shooting range ear covers and let the good times roll! Laugh.

Great for Night Shift Workers!
Unfortunately, the product does not keep out 100% of light, but when put over an IMAK (eye pillow) it does block out 100% of light (as long as the wearer does not shake their head). This product is comfortable when worn over long periods of time. I am a night security guard, and I figured that it would be easier to buy this product than it would be to board up my windows (to keep the light out of my room so I can get sleep during the day). This product has been a great tool for helping me get the sleep I need during the day so that I can work all night. Some of my co-workers complain that sometimes they can only get 2 hours of sleep because of how bright it is during the day. I now laugh at them (on the inside - I'm not that mean), and then recommend this product to them. The only problem I have when sleeping during the day is in the summer when it's hot (but one of my guard friends have remedied that my using a quiet air conditioner unit). I can comfortably sleep with this product on for a full 8 or even 10 hours of sleep (sometimes I have to catch up on sleep during the day). There are 2 reasons why I marked this product down 1 star: 1. It does not block out all of the light (but it blocks out enough to sleep) 2. It leaves a stain on the pillow case after long use

Very fun mask, works so much better than a blindfold
I was looking for something that works better than a blindfold to add to our toy collection - I don't know if it is my face shape but I have never really found a blindfold that works at completely eliminating sight. This mask is great it that it really will put the wearer in the dark with the blindfold built into the lightweight mask and it looks like a much more imposing piece of bondage equipment than a blindfold so your partner knows that when you pull this mask out things are going to get interesting. While the mask looks a little intimating, since it is made out a pretty thin material it isn't actually as threatening as an actually leather mask would be so this is kind of a nice hybrid between light bondage and much heavier fare. The mouth hole is a little small but for a cost around $15 this is a great little piece of equipment.

Fun toy
The thickened area over the eyes works as a good blindfold. Great sensory deprivation hood. Breathing is easy and comfortable, even when used with a gag.

Blindsided
I cant hardly see nuffin through this! I got this mask from the Amazons to make withdrawals at the local banco without attracting the wrong kind of attention if you know what I mean. But upon arriving and yanking my purchase down over my head, I was nearly blinded and easily apprehended after mistaking a water cooler for the head teller. To make a long story short, I'm corresponding to say this is an ok mask as long as you understand its limitations. And the neckal area could be a smidge longer please and thank you.

Good For Begginners
Very light weight and quite comfortable to wear as opposed to say a leather hood with belts and stuff. Obviously, that would be more restrictive and right down overwhelming or scary for some people. The trade off of course is that a leather one completely blocks out the light, while this one allows a little light to filter in specially around the area under the nose. Again, this is pretty good as an alternative for a blindfold for someone who wants to explore sensory deprivation. Another plus is that you won't be sweating five minutes into playtime because of how light the material is. Not bad overall.

Out go the lights...are you prepared for what happens next?
Was looking for something new and fun for my wife and I to try out, this mask fit the bill because not only does it cover your entire face, but it also has a heavier piece of material stitched in on the inside that covers your eyes, making it nearly impossible to see through. The mouth is the only hole that is left open, for devious purposes I assume, but was a great deal more than we expected.Master Series Disguise Open Mouth Hood with Padded Blindfold

Can not really complain as the item is exactly as advertised. It is made of light weight spandex...including the blindfold. So it at best obscures vision, does not act as a blindfold. I also found it to be short, the picture shows it goes down to the bottom of the neck but in reality it goes about 1/2 way.
