Great alternative to starch

I needed a way to stiffen up my fabric when I am making bags for my business. I chose the unscented version so my customers wouldn’t get a smell they don’t care for. Product works really well to get out wrinkles and make the fabric feel a bit more sturdy (I use quilt cotton a lot). Very helpful and would definitely recommend!

It works and doesn't stink!

Used this for years and it is a light/medium hold starch. Best attribute is that it doesn't smell.

Finally, I can iron my shirts and wear them too.

I've always like my shirts to be pressed. Over the years I've tried the Niagra, Vano, Magic Sizing, etc. They either left flakes on my shirts, had a scent I didn't like, or came in wasteful aerosol cans. The Mary Ellen's Clear Sizing solves all of those; there's no flakes, no scent, and no wasteful aresol can full of propellants. My shirts simply look crisp.

FRgrance free !!!!!

With many allergies, fragrance free is so important to me. Can't find the old Magic Sizing, so was happy to find this fragrance-free, light-sizing product!!!!

Picture shows a spray bottle, however, when delivered there is no spray handle.

Starches clothes but with unwanted additional effects.

This product works as a starch spray for clothes. It states that it does not leaves clothes shiny and does not have a scent this is completely untrue it has left my uniform shiny on multiple occasions with the iron tried on various heat settings. The scent isn’t a pleasant smell so I have to ensure it’s sprayed with a deodorant.

USA’s Quilting Community on YouTube loves Mary Ellen’s product!

Mary Ellen product I have bought this as I seen it on YouTube, because of the sheeress of not showing white or globules on the fabric which spraying and ironing when using other products containing starch. It give fabric any extra body of thickness While while cutting quilts shapes, it is easy to use by the spray provided. This product helps to stabilise the fabric edges. This product is very popular in the USA quilting community and groups and often appears on YouTube Quilting Channels Would I considered buying this again!! I am not too sure! It’s a little bit expensive for per quilting project.

Good stuff!

This is good stuff! There is no scent, the bottle arrived with a spray attachment. I used it on fabric straight out of the washing machine so it was damp. No flaking or sticking to the bottom of the iron. My lounge curtains were looking very sad through washing and this has brought them up looking like new again. Would recommend and will probably buy this again!

No spray attachment

purchased this size specifically because it was supposed to have the spray attachment. No spray attachment meant I spent the extra few pounds for nothing. No point sending it back as it would cost me more in time and effort than it is worth. My advice, get the bigger refill bottle, that I purchased at the same time and get your own spray attachment.
