Geometry different from genuine Honda muffler
Extends substantially further than genuine Honda GX160 muffler in direction of crankshaft. Otherwise seems well made, but would not work for my application due to interference with other components.

Just Like the Honda OEM for MUCH Less $$$
I recently purchased an old spray rig. It came with an older Honda 5hp engine. I check the engine's compression and replaced the spark plug and it fired right up and ran well. All it really needed was a new muffler and air filter and it would run just like new! I jumped online and found a couple of small engine parts distributors of OEM Honda products. Holy cow they were expensive! I decided there must be a better way... The engine is older, so I didn't think the parts would be available on Amazon. But I decided it was worth a try. I did a quick search on Amazon and turned up the parts from aftermarket vendors. They cost about 1/4th the price of the Honda original OEM products. And even better, they were shipped for free on my Amazon Prime account! I bolted them on my engine, and they look and run just like the engine was brand new! Buy with confidence! Myself, I couldn't be happier with the quality and I am thrilled with the savings. Thanks again Amazon!

Fits Harbor Freight Predator 212cc (6.5hp) gasoline engine
DID / DOES NOT COME WITH GASKET!!!!! Fits Harbor Freight Predator 212cc (6.5hp) gasoline engine that comes on there plate tamper. The OEM muffler that came on it cracked and was leaking bad after 6 months of hard use. There are holes around the exhaust outlet to bolt the exhaust deflector from the OEM muffler back on. DID NOT COME WITH GASKET but was able to use a razor blade and save the old gasket and used a little gold high temp RTV to seal it up. I think it should come with a gasket. You wouldn't normally replace one without the other. I got lucky and was able to save the old gasket.

Good buy
The muffler looks like it's very well built, good quality, and is just as quiet as the stock one. Only thing is, it sits on the engine a little different than stock. The stock one is even with the gas tank, this one sticks out away from the engine about another inch. So if your engine is open all around, it's ok.

Plate compactor muffler
Mounted on a borrowed vibratory plate compactor. Fit perfectly and made quite the difference...and so says the owner!

Honda Gx160 fits
Honda gx160 engine. Fit perfect. Reused old metal gasket. Tightened real good. Nice and quiet. Hadn't realized how loud my compressor was until the new quiet.

Perfect. Old muffler was allowing too much noise. Replaced it with this one, fit perfectly and the noise was well managed.
