Good gloves!

These are good gloves for me to wear when the weather is between 50 and 60 degrees. I have Raynauds, so warm gloves are very important to me. These are comfortable and I can wear them while I’m running errands.

Nice, warm and stretch

I was really pleased with tese gloves from the appearance, the comfort and warmth. Appearance: These have a nice quilted insulated shell, with stretchy material around the fingers. The quilted shell has a nice sheen to it, making a nice contrast to the more matte knit material around the fingers. Item appears the same as advertised. Fit: I usually wear a small (long skinny fingers) and the small I ordered fit great. They were not a snug fit, as I had a little room, but they were still fitted. Good stretch and movement Function: Nice added layer of warmth. Bristol touchtip worked, not perfect but I have yet to find a glove that is. They washed well. When not in use, you can tuck one inside of the other to keep together. Overall, I was pleased with them. I’d recommend.

Nice look, comfortable and soft. Work with phones and driving. A bit expensive for larger size

Is it possible to have too many gloves? No, not in western NY. We are already wearing gloves as the weather has gotten cold and damp. As you get older too, your hands do not like it very much, so you wear them even sooner. The more you wear gloves the more you wear them out, or lose them, hence needing lots of them. FIT ME DESPITE OFTEN WEARING AN EXTRA LARGE These gloves were a risk for me. I usually take a women’s extra large glove, so getting a Medium/Large was iffy. I can say pulling them on, is initially snug, as I have a large palm and longish fingers. One of the reasons I opted for this size is that it looked forgiving on a broader hand. (Yes, Senfield would say I have man-hands) And often when I get extra large the fingers are way too long. I’ve tried men’s gloves and a medium fits, but badly. I noted there is a $10 price difference between Small/Medium and Medium/Large. That’s quite the jump. TOUCH CAPABILITY FOR PHONE WAS GOOD I liked the puffy coat vibe of the hand back. It will match a few of my coats. And lo and behold the touch tips for your phone are good enough to make a curve ball shot on Pokemon go. So that’s saying something. As with most gloves, precision typing is hit and miss as though these fit like gloves (pun intended) they are not tight enough to ensure typing accuracy. But tight would mean cold, so that would not be good. This surface is limited to the index finger and thumbs of both hands. DRIVING SURFACES ON GLOVES WORKED WELL. There is a strip of leatherish material on the index finger down across the palm and on the inside of the thumb. This provides the grip you need to drive as well as the surface you use on phones. I always look for that, because the last thing you want your hand to do is slip on the wheel during an evasive maneuver or a slide correction, typical of cold weather. NO CLIP ON GLOVES TO KEEP THEM AS A SET I was surprised not to see a clip so they could be attached to one another. They seem to be somewhat sporty

Snug Gloves With Responsive Touch-Screen Strips

I have small hands for an adult woman, but at first I thought I had made a mistake by ordering these gloves in a small/medium since they fit tightly. But then I realized that all but the index finger have some space at the top. These are obviously meant to fit snugly, and that will help me use my fingers more accurately in cold weather. It's much easier to use the "Touchtip" if there's little freeplay. These gloves are rated by Manzella as "warmer," the middle of the company's warmth range, but my guess is that they won't keep my hands particularly warm. First, gloves are never as warm as mittens because they separate your fingers, and next, I'm particularly suseptible to cold. But I can't drive with mittens, and I can't do anything with precision while wearing them. These gloves have a thin fleece lining for extra warmth. My guess is that I will be able to wear them for limited time outdoors when the temperature hovers around freezing but not much lower than that. If I'm going to spend more time outside, these will be best for weather in the 40s and upper 30s only. The strips of fake leather for touchscreen compatibility include both the entire index finger and the thumb; the index finger strip goes across the top of the palm to anchor it so it will be less likely to tear loose after heavy usage. I find these Manzella gloves much easier than my Isotoners to manipulate my iPhone. The construction seems good, and the gloves are comfortable. The stretchy material on the underside allows me good movement. I only wish that the cuffs were 1/2" longer to better cover my wrists. -- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Very warm without being too thick

These gloves keep my hands warm while I’m out in the chilly weather. They are soft and comfortable to wear. This winter, even when it’s been in the 30’s and 40’s, my fingers stayed nice and warm. I've got mittens that are thicker that don't keep my hands as warm. They fit fairly true to size. I have small hands and the small/medium size fits great and they cover my wrists as well. I like the maroon/black color combination of darker fall/winter coloring. I did find that the touchscreen aspect was a bit tricky to use, but after a few tries, moving my fingers to the right place in the glove fingertips, I got it to work most of the time. The material is slightly different at the fingertips which I suppose allows the touchscreen to sense your skin. Of course, the fingerprint reader won't work, but that's nothing I expected so I have to use my passcode instead. Overall, I am pleased with these gloves. They're an okay value at the current $32 price.
