Very strong handles.
Very strong handles. Came with the screws (good quality) to mount.

Well Made, Large Enough for Big Hands
I put the pair of these on our drawers in our kitchen at work, they were the type of drawers you had to pull from the bottom and they'd often get stuck trying to yank them out. These handles solved the issue. They're larger than you'de expect, I have big hands and as a guy I can easily get all 4 fingers in and pull. They'd make good toolshed door handles for either pull-open or slide. The included screws are hefty, NOT weeny little decorative screws. The black finish looks good and is definitely thickly applied. My only minor gripe is the edges of the metal on the inside of the handle, they're a touch rough and you can feel it with your fingers (one burr on one handle might even snag your finger. Nothing a quick file job can't fix with a rounded file, but if you use these outdoors, I wouldn't file it down which would remove the black and promote rust. For inside applications you'll probably want to do that IF yours even has the issue.

Utilitarian and effective. I prefer the black finish to the zinc-plated metal to reduce corrosion likelihood.
These are fairly light-weight (2.5 ounce each) large pulls that are what one might use for a large sliding door in a barn, or for a large screen on a porch. At 6.5", the size is large enough to maintain a strong grip to overcome significant inertia. The zinc-plated chrome appearing handle comes with chrome phillips-head screws and the black handle comes with black screws. The black finish probably will resist corrosion somewhat better than the zinc-plated version if you plan to use it in a high-humidity or damp area. Both appear utilitarian and accomplish the desired task inexpensively.

Great to add handles on boxes and trays!
These worked great for my craft or adding handles to a wooden orchard box to make a great bit of storage for my children's blocks! I used different flat-tipped screws that had bolts on the interior. These are hollow, not solid cast, so if this is for a dressier/formal piece I would look elsewhere. These are great for informal applications where you prefer function and low cost over appearance. They do not look bad at all, but I would look for more solid handles for a dresser or featured furniture. I am going to get another set to add handles on a wood tray I have that could use better grip.

Great pair of handles
These handles are very nice looking. They appear durable but light in weight. The handles were easy to screw in. I like the color and the look. I am hoping they stand up to the weather and time. I will update later. I just put them up. I received these for my honest opinion and did not receive compensation for these.

South Main Black Matte 6 1/2 Inch Pair of Handles
This pair of 6 1/2 inch matte black handles are neatly finished so there are no sharp edges. Very basic and lightweight, they are a good choice for my backyard wooden gate. Each hollow handle weighs only three ounces, so definitely not heavy-duty. Included with each piece are four black finished, one inch cross-head (Phillips) wood screws. The handles are individually packaged to prevent damage to the finish and the screws are also in their own separate cellophane bag. Since the hardware is attached through holes in the front of each handle, if planning to use them on cabinets doors, shorter screws may be necessary so they do not poke through the back. The profile of the handles is relatively slim but the average-size hands of both the female and male adults cleared the opening between the wood gate and the handle but the space is not overly generous for people with very large hands. The design is decidedly old-school which is timeless and appealing. My only slight concern is how they will age--whether the finish will survive the elements. Although if needed, repainting with flat black paint will be an easy fix.

Light and sturdy
These are pressed sheet metal which makes them sturdy but definitely not heavy. The description mentions using them for barn doors but I don't know how well they will hold up in the outdoor elements. They are not very deep, you will be knocking your knuckles across the wood. They do come with same colored screws. They are a simple but decent design.

Good handle pulls for a garden shed or barn door, nicely made
A nice pair of inexpensive handles/pulls that would be great on a garden shed or barn door. I'm actually using them as handles for an old wooden toy chest that my grandfather built for me when I was a kid and that I'm hoping to turn into a blanket storage box. I really like that everything that comes from South Main Hardware is individually and carefully wrapped in foam and comes with its own mounting screws (in this case nice coarse-thread black wood screws). The only thing that concerns me a bit about these is that they are constructed by folding over a sheet of metal, so they are hollow and out doors (theoretically, at least) rain could get in them and over time possibly cause rust. But on the other hand they are so nicely finished and sealed, I'm not even sure that would happen. The good side of this design is that they are very light weight. I really like the handles and everything I've seen from this company has been above and beyond normal quality standards.
