I love my boots!

I live in Minnesota and these boots have kept my feet warm and they have great traction on ice. I bought them after I had slipped and fell on a wet slippery floor in the grocery store earlier this year so when I purchased these boots I was looking for boots that would be safe on slippery floors and icy sidewalks . I wore them for 4 months of the most treacherous winter I have experienced in Minnesota, it was the snowiest year on record. Although I had to walk on ice many times in parking lots and driveways I never slipped. They are also very water resistant, as I worked 8 hours a day shopping and delivering about 8 orders or groceries a day and I was in and out, cold outside to inside grocery stores with wet floors and back outside in snow or ice and sometimes puddles , my feet stayed warm, comfortable and dry. I literally only wore these boots for 4 months, I was recovering from a knee injury and I could not risk falling but had to brave the cold and icy driveways, parking lots and sidewalks. These boots were a HUGE blessing.

lightweight and warm

These replaced some awesome North Face boots that I'd had for almost 15 years before the plastic cracked, so they were some literal tough shoes to fill. They have been good, had them for three midwest winters at this point, and they have been quite satisfactory. They still look great, they haven't broken in the outers, stitching, or soles. They are very lightweight and warm and have been 100% waterproof. Totally satisfied with this set of boots and hope they last as long as their predecessors.

Highly Recommend

I bought these boots for a trip during winter in Northwest USA. I have a wide foot and they were so comfortable and warm. Highly recommend. My feet are picky and we did a lot of walking.

Love these boots!

While these aren't as padded and comfortable as my previous pair of Columbia boots they make up for it in other areas. These boots are much warmer, stylish and are more waterproof. They are still pretty comfortable, but not as padded as my other ones. The last time I wore them it was a warmer, snowy and slushy day. My feet stayed completely dry. I have feet that are a little wider than normal, but had no trouble with the width. I normally wear a size 9.5, but ordered a 10 so I'd have room for thicker socks. The 10 seemed a little big even with thicker socks so I then ordered a 9.5 to be sure I had the right size. The 9.5 fit with thicker socks, but felt too tight in the toe box for my liking. I would say these run pretty true to size, but if you like a little more room for winter/thicker socks maybe go a half size up. If I didn't have feet that are a little wide the 9.5 would have been fine. I hope this helps someone else so you don't have to order two different sizes like I did. I did also measure my foot before ordering, but when the sizes are so similar in length it wasn't super helpful.

Does the job

I work as a Lift Operator at a ski resort. Had a rough winter but these held up when paired with proper winter socks. I didn't notice any water issues. And the only time my feet were truly cold is when we had days in the negatives. Otherwise I can't complain. I bought a size up to accommodate thick socks.

A very nice winter boot

I like these better than the Sorels I used to own. Water has never penetrated the boot and they have kept my feet warm enough when it is cold outside. I have a very high in step so these were not quite tall enough for me but did adjust to a better position

Better than Ugg

I had these Columbia Boots in my checkout for weeks. I decided to go with Ugg Yose Tall Fluff instead. Bad move! I couldn’t return them fast enough. I then ordered these Columbia boots and I wish I ordered them sooner! I’m between an 8 and 8.5 and I ordered 8.5 wide cause that’s what they had in stock. They’re perfect and definitely wide! Even with heavy duty wool socks they’re wide. So glad I took a chance on these. They’re soft, fit perfectly and pretty! As a person who loves Ugg brand, these boots are better! For reference I’m an 8 in Ugg.

Warm and good on ice

By far the best boots I owned! I’m an avid walker (7-8km a day) mostly in snow trails in the wood. These boots are solide, not slippery, waterproof, they are actually better then my hiking boots. This winter has been particularly cold with temperature often below -20 and these boots are warm! Great buy, will buy again.
