Works well if you take the time to fit it to your door

This bug strip does a good job of keeping most insects out, but it does take some time and trouble to install, and works best if you bother to trim the ends to fit. Measure before you buy. This one is designed to fit snugly into a 1/8" groove on the end of your door, and can cover a gap of up to 1 1/8" between the screen door and the inner door. Note that older screen doors may bow slightly, so you should check the maximum gap, often at the center or ends of the door. Before you start to install the strip, take a close look at the way your screen door fits into the channel at top and bottom. For best results, you should trim the rubber (cuts easily with scissors or sharp knife) to minimize any gaps at the very top and bottom while keeping the rubber strip from dragging on the door frame. I suggest notching the bottom of the strip to fit while the door is in its channel (take a look from the inside to make sure you're satisfied with any remaining gap) then remove the door to install the rest of the strip. Leave extra length at the top of the strip to trim after you replace the door. You can install the entire strip with the door in its channel, but it's easier if you remove the door and place it on its leading edge. Continuing from the bottom, fit the inner edge of the rubber tab into the groove on the door, then use a slotted screwdriver to work the outer edge of the rubber tab into the groove. Gradually work your way up the length of the door, leaving the last few inches loose. If you removed the door, replace it now. Carefully trim the top edge to remove any excess while minimizing gaps. Press your thumb against the outside of the strip to make sure the tab is fully seated in the door channel along its entire length. If the gap between your screen and inner door is much less than an inch with the screen closed, you may also want to trim the width of strip. Just make sure to leave a little overlap so that bugs won't be able to sneak through. That's it. Should take 15 to 30 minutes.

Perfect fit

Replacing all the "little parts" of my sliding screen doors made them just like new again, and saved me $150 in total replacements that I didn't really need. These strips replaced the 10-year-old originals that had torn, bent, and generally lost their bug-stopping mojo. Combined with another purchase of brass wheels and new latches, I'm a happy man!

Product workds well to seal garage door stop spider population

The product is as advertised and would buy again if needed. The application was for a sealing the edge of a two car garage door to prevent incoming bugs and product spiders and works well. Mike T

Doesn't grip mounting track firmly

Only has one set of "wings" on mounting (three on original). The photo is clear that there's only one, and it seems to be staying attached.
