Perfect for spring and fall, very thin

I think it's very cool Amazon has a clothing collection made of recycled materials. This wool sweater is really thin and has been perfect for a top layer in spring. The light shines through the material when held up to a window or lamp. Because of the thinness, the material breathes well and has a ton of stretch. This had made it really comfortable to wear even when moving a ton because it moves well with my body and I don't get sweaty. ***I've found when I pull the sleeves up my forearm and later pull them back down, the wrists are stretched out and have a saggy look. I find this annoying. At 5'3", 165 lbs with a 34" waist, I found the medium (my standard size) to be too large overall- The sweater was baggy and the waist and sleeves too long. I intentionally washed and dried it on high heat to shrink it and now it fits perfectly. It shrunk significantly. Because it's wool, the washing directions state to wash on gentle cycle and air dry for no shrinkage. The zipper is metal and consistently slides smoothly. The material is soft against the skin. The pale sage green color is true to the online product photos. The inside of the shoulders have an embroidered detail that runs vertically, adding a bit of interest. I found the product tags annoying while wearing as there were more than 10 attached as a bunch, though its because each is in a different language which is actually really cool because its inclusive to a much larger demographic. I cut them off and find the experience of wearing the sweater is a lot more comfortable.

Bit thin but nice

This sweater is a little on the thin side but works out well enough to fit over a tshirt and oxford shirt. It shrunk just a tiny bit in the wash and I lined dried it, didn’t want it to shrink anymore by putting it in the dryer. The shirt is soft and I like the zipper, it didn’t snag and moves up and down without snagging. nice shirt overall.,

Nice Looking 100% Soft Merino Wool 1/4 Zip Sweater

Pros • 100% wool • Construction and Comfort • Lightweight Cons • Thin • Sizing, arms run long Verdict (4.3 stars) First, this is made of 100% wool, and it is soft and comfortable (no itching). This looks great on and works for casual or business casual wear. The fit is more of an athletic to slim fit through the body and shoulders. If you’re a borderline size I would suggest sizing up as it is semi snug through the shoulders and belly area. Overall shirt length is just right sitting below your belt line. The issue with the sweater is the arm length for the size (medium). This is where a lot of sweaters have challenges regardless of the brand and this one is no different. Unless you have long arms, this is going to bunch up around the cuff or elbow area or both. This gives a sloppy or a too big look, as you should have very little extra material in the sleeve length (A slight amount is fine). Overall, the look, style, and comfort are really nice, just be aware of the challenges in the arm length and or if you size up because you’re an in between size it will fit better in the body but, the arm length will be too long.

Good-looking wool sweater, but very thin material

Versatile, handsome half-zip wool sweater, similar to designs available from department stores and Gap family brands. Not particularly flashy or fancy, but a staple of any man's wardrobe: suitable for dressing up or dressing down. Soft, not scratchy. Fits true to size, but flexible. Zipper hardware is reasonable quality. Just don't expect to be warm. The material on this sweater is very thin. It's not going to fall apart or anything, but you can see right through it when you hold it up to your face. This is meant to be a fashion sweater, not winter gear. But if fashion is what you're after this is a good value for the price.

A great, light sweater for cool eves or travel

I love this sweater, esp in this color, which is one I don't have in my closet. Spouse really likes it. It fits so well. Unless the temp is in the mid-70's, with no wind, I would not feel too hot in this. I like to wear it when I go out on the lake in the evening for a cruise. I accidentally stained it with some blue cue chalk. It washed out almost completely, and the sweater is back 'in action'. I like the overall quality, although the zipper feels less than prime. A good value for a unique sweater.

Soft lightweight sweater

Very nicely made lightweight sweater. I would call this summer weight. I bought it for myself: a woman, bust 46", 18/20, 5'4". The arms are a little long (of course because I am short). I roll them up one fold and they are fine. It falls below my tummy so I feel more comfortable with it covered. Any man or woman would love to have this. I have had 2 neck surgeries and having the ability to zip up over my neck is a huge bonus. My mom wore something like this with the zipper in the back many years ago. Very nice sweater.

Well-made and easy to wear ????

I am no wool expert to know if this is actually 100% merino, but it certainly smells like it! The sweater is thin, but I got it as a layer during travel, so it will work well for me. I wore it under a North Face fleece jacket and it regulated temperature well all day. The stand-up collar is a bit difficult to deal with since it won't comfortably fold down and is a bit pokey if you zip it up too far. I machine washed it and let it air dry flat, and it survived ????
