Excellent With a Slight Flaw

This is an excellent form fitting full zip jacket. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the jacket's material gets destroyed when it comes into contact with velcro. If you are going to wear this jacket inside your ski jacket, be aware that most ski jackets have velcro closures that will fray the weaving material on this jacket. You will look like you are wearing a cotton ball if you are not careful.

So warm

I work in a hospital and it’s always freezing so I needed a lightweight jacket that is super warm. This is perfect. My only complaint is the fabric at the bottom of the zipper interferes with it getting started. But once it gets going it’s fine. I have the same jacket and black and it’s a lovely because it hugs your waist and is very flattering.

Great style and warmth

Awesome jacket. Looks great. Zipper pockets are convenient and secure. Red color looks hot. Soft fleece inside. Light weight but Surprisingly warm for its thickness. Works good alone or for layering under a bigger coat.

Sizing changed?

Longer than Spyder of years ago and no longer flattering for petites. Since I'm 5'4, 125 lbs., could have sized down to small size but concerned the sleeves would still be too long, the neck too high. Had to return.

No where near past quality

I’ve been wearing Spyder for a while. I’m also not one to spend a lot of money on sweaters but their stuff was worth every penny. The cost was more than reasonable for the quality. I’ve never seen anything that could compete. I’m talking only about sweaters - I don’t know about coats, etc. Anyway, I tried several different styles from Amazon before completely giving up. The second I opened them, it was clear they were nothing like my older ones. The fabric was thin and cheap, the stitching was terrible and the size was completely off. Suddenly it had changed to a very slim fit with sleeves that were *at least* 4” too long. I’m coming to terms with the fact that most stuff on Amazon is no longer of any worthwhile quality but this was the last step for me. I give up. I don’t know if it’s possible that the ones on Amazon are just made for them and that’s why they’re junk. I’m holding out hope that a regular retailer may still make Spyder that’s a quality version. I just haven’t figured it out yet. Good luck.

Too much money to make compromises

It's too thin, It shows what I was wearing underneath. The "neck" doesn't sit/ fit well. The "sleeves" were too long. The jacket itself, still too long. Overall was unflattering. For this price. ( and I love spyder brand ) for this price, there were just too many compromises. Gonna look for another style. 5'0 105lbs XS
