Great basic sweater

After reading reviews and having success with other Amazon Essentials clothing, I decided to give this cardigan sweater a try. I first ordered it in light gray and loved how it fit and for the price I thought it was a nice looking sweater to swear to work. I ended up ordering another in the royal blue color, so now I have two. I ordered a xs (5ft 4in and 105 lbs.) The size is perfect. I can easily wear a t-shirt or tank underneath and button it up all the way. I accidentally dried the gray one, but it didn't seem to shrink much at all. I normally don't put my sweaters in the dryer, but lay them flat to dry. If you are on the fence I would say go for it. Amazon returns make it easy to try something and return it if it doesn't work out.

Perfect fit; good quality ;layering piece

I'm 5'2, 170, 36H, and a very hard fit. This cardigan has no stretch, so I sized up to a L as suggested. Fit was spot on. Fitted, arms were not too baggy nor skin tight, and the length fell at my waist and didn't ride up. I normally avoid anything without stretch due to my proportions, but this cardigan is a winner. Such a flattering fit that works for the office, or to carry along on a cool night. The white one is out of stock, but I'll keep checking. I'd buy this in every color.

Love the sweater

I have been looking for a lighter weight sweater for a while, but they have been either too thin, too short or too small. This one also runs small, but with a wider range in sizes, I was able to go up a size and found it fit just right. First wash showed no pilling or shrinkage so I’m hoping this is one that holds up to continuous wear. My only complaint is that the plus sizes do not come in a wide range of colors like the regular sizes. I really hope this changes so I can order more!!

Cute and light weight

I purchased this in a pink and I was pleased with the cardigan. It is very light weight but I really wanted something like that. I am 5'1" and it is a wee bit long, but for a cardigan that I don't plan on buttoning it is perfect over a sleeveless or short sleeved blouse. For the cost and for the color, it was a good deal. I have washed and tumbled dry (took out after a few minutes) it has held up well.

Good sweater for what it cost

I ordered a 1X. It is not as roomy as I thought but it fits and is flattering. I am short. It is great for cool weather, or to wear inside a restaurant that might be chilly. I got a grey and a navy and I like them both.

Wow - Construction worker colors

Nice sweaters (ordered orange and lime green) but they are both screaming neon colors -- perfect for being noticed by oncoming traffic, not for usual indoor wear. Quality looks nice but be warned, they are not the pretty subtle colors shown.

Color was way off

Ordered the light pink and the cardigan I received looks a lot more like what is pictured under "pink." It is much brighter and more saturated. But the cardigan itself is nice and comfortable.

Nice Basic Sweater

This is a nice basic medium blue sweater. It fits nicely and the fabric has a nice hand. The blue look great with gray or white hair. It's a nice medium blue. I would recommend this sweater. It is good value for the money.

Perfect fit

The fit is perfect for me, and there's plenty of length in the arms. The material is soft and not itchy. I love it! I've now ordered two more and they're just as good.

Lovely cardigan

Fine knit smart cardigan which fits really well. Lovely length just right for me I didn't want it too short or too long. Sits roughly in my hip bone. The red colour is really nice. I really like it and may buy another colour.

A little black top, perfecto ******

I've waited a while before I gave my review on this cardigan as I wanted to get it right for other buyers. As usual Amazon has come up top with the quality of this cardigan. It is really soft not scratchy and it feels like its been made especially for me as it fits like a glove. I haven't got a clue how they can make it so perfect for such a small price. Buy, buy, buy ******

Beautiful cardigan

Soft light weight material,very nice length,lower than waist and just sitting half way over hips, I ordered coral which is a beautiful vibrant colour. I searched for long time to get a cardigan to complete an outfit I have,this cardigan is the perfect colour and shape. I recommend as a good purchase.

Had to return

The cardigan itself was fine apart from being much too small. When I had the order confirmation and saw the size was wrong I tried to cancel the order but it arrived anyway. I was informed that Hermes would collect on the next working day but didn't turn up for a week. By then I had posted the parcel back myself. I'm assuming it has arrived.
