Solid extension

Sds+ drill shafts vary in diameter!

Works great! Some sds+ drill bit shafts are thicker in diameter than others. This one was a tad tight, but I got it in fine with a little push, it comes out fine too. Another needed a bit of sandpaper on the shaft to fit, and yet another was a bit sloppy. I did not have to modify the extention shaft hole. After drilling a 3/4" hole (minimum size hole to fit large end of shaft) through a 19" concrete and stone wall, my advice is to set the screws in the concave sds+ connection profile rather than the keyway slot. Check the set screws every minute of use, as I found them to slowly loosen and back out. Warning! Do not over tighten the set screws! It is better to take the time to check the screws than to strip the threads! Good tool, would buy again!

SDS to 3/8" drill bit adaptor, not an SDS Extension

High quality, but this SDS extension does not fit SDS drill bits. This Magbit's socket measures 0.379" but a standard SDS drill bit shank measures 0.391". Therefore, no SDS drill bit will fit this extension. It will however, fit a 3/8" drill bit shank. This would more accurately described as an "SDS to 3/8" drill bit adaptor".

Dose not hold SRS bit security

My 1" SRS drill bit was not removable after using this adapter for less that three minutes. I HAD TO CUT THE BIT OUT TO SAVE IT! The bit was worth much more than the adapter. I place the no longer adapter in the recycle bin. Wasted my time and money!
