Simple and reliable

My friend told me I could make GF waffles out of almond flour and eggs. I needed something small and portable to make little cake-like things, so i decided to try. Perfect! For savory foods , like to serve with chicken or burgers, we just added salt and pepper. For sweet, my daughter added mashed banana and vanilla. Very good and easy, and we ended up freezing some so we have them even more handy. Oh. We sprayed the surface with avocado oil spray before each use.

Good little waffle iron

This is a fun little iron. We don’t use it for waffles, but for eggs. We put a sprinkle of cheese, an egg, salt and pepper, and another sprinkle of cheese and close the lid. When it stops steaming it is done and it is delicious. Perfect for putting on a homemade egg McMuffin. The only quibble I have is that it doesn’t have a good way to catch any grease you may add, even if it is for waffles. It gathers in the lid in the back and when you close the lid, the grease leaks out on the counter. The grease also leaks into the unit under the bottom plate. In the long term I can see this starting to get smelly from rancid oil. I see you can unscrew the plates to maybe clean that out. Also the printing on the lid will wipe off if exposed to grease. But for a little 12 dollar waffle iron for waffles and cheesy eggs, it is a good buy.

Well, the do make cute mini waffles! They came out nice and well cooked. The booklet came with some fun recipes as well! I love the fact that it came with tamper seal sticker on all of the entrance of the box. Nice, warm, soft, buttery waffles. No complaints over here with my family

Very handy

This mini waffle maker is great. It makes nice fluffy waffles in no time. I made a big batch of waffles and froze them. Highly recommend it.

Cheap and easy but slow

Using this to make chaffles for keto and it works well however, if you want to make multiples, it's slow, taking 7 to 10 minutes each. Maybe not an issue of the appliance itself but I may buy a bigger one that can make more than one at a time and relegate this one to the RV while traveling. It's only 550w so maybe it doesn't get hot enough to cook faster. Also find that the batter sticks to the exterior plastic and is difficult to clean it, having to scrape it off the plastic.

Nice Little Waffle Maker !!!

OK so the price has gone up since I bought it. So depending on what the price is now that you are reading this maybe the value for money is not that great. But when I bought it - I believe it was the cheapest on Amazon. Works as intended. No sticking so far for the Canadian Protein mix and I do not grease the surfaces before making the waffle. A bit with the new Flourish mix I bought but maybe I will just need to grease the surfaces as intended lol. I like the size - if you prefer your waffles bigger then look elsewhere - it says right on the title "MINI". Ok cord length - not too short so it's annoying but not long as to create storage issues. No heat / scalding fingers issues on use either when I need to open the lid. You can always just choose to be careful and use a spatula. Don't blame your own stupidity on an appliance. Would have loved an on/off switch. But I have a switch plug that I use for my no-frills George Foreman - so I just unplug that and plug this little guy in to have the on/off control.

Good

As soon as we got it, the whole family wanted to try it. It turned out that it was really easy to use and made good waffles. The only downside is it takes up to 4 min per waffle, so if you have to make some for the whole family, it could take a while. It is perfect however for someone who only wants to eat one or two and don't want to go with all the trouble of using a frying pan. I like it a lot.

So far so good!

i've had this little waffle iron for a few days now. I've made "chaffles" for breakfast every morning since save for one. It's easy to use/quick to heat up and easy to clean. My only complaint would be capacity, you can't quite do a full egg chaffle in one go, but using half the cheese/egg mixture doesn't quite make two full chaffles. They're great with a little pesto beaten with the egg and topped with some roasted red peppers.
