i like these a lot, so i bought more!
It's been a challenge to figure out how to have more green practices at home. A year ago I bought various reusable snack backs. The lunchskins product I had was my favorite: washes easily (i wash by hand because we don't use the washer), there is no odor, and after a year, the product is holding up really well. my kids know not to throw these away and always put them back in the lunchbox. the other product (different brand) doesn't wash as easily and it feels sticky/yucky to the touch... I decided this is working well for our family and I want to ban foil or saran-wrapped sandwiches from now on.... so I bought many more lunchskins :-) I will say this: this size easily fits a crust-less sandwich. this is the size I already owned and i was able to fit sandwiches with crusts, too - just not as easily. I bought the next level size bag (pictures with "sub" sandwiches) and that fits a complete sandwich easily (but would be too big for a crust-less sandwich). now, i have these in various sizes and that works for me :-) in the snack size bag, i have only used dried snacks.

I purchased the green and white farm looking bags in 2018. They did come with the sticky label/packaging and I called the company to complain. They said to use soap and water. It didn’t really help but it eventually came off. It was no big deal really. It wasn’t ruined Or anything like that. I love and use these bags so much decided to buy more. I was surprised by the new packaging! No more sticky stickers. They must’ve listened to all the complaints :p so that’s out of the way if you were not sure on buying some because of the stickers....... anyway. I’ve been using these bags for snacks. Blueberries. Grapes. Chips. Animal crackers. Carrots. Sandwiches. Pretty much anything that isn’t wet. And they have held up really well. I love them. We use them for school lunches and whenever we need to take snacks on the go. These bags will last if you take care of them :)

Cool but frustrating to get apart to use.
Updated to say that I just received another 2 pack, snack size green with fish and sandwich size green forest and river. They came with no adhesive sticker. They were packed the same way the individual ones are. It’s absolutely perfect. My hope is that they are all being switched to this style. So so much better. Thank you. I think I’m going to love these. I did not however love the 5 minutes of taking the plastic off one of these sets, only to have a sticky residue mess left behind, along with some of the sticker still on that I can’t get off. I have 10 more sets that I am dreading having to take apart. Seriously, total overkill and ridiculous. A more simple way to combine the 2 would be nice. But great product overall. If I didn’t think it will be amazing, I would have given 1 star cause I’m that annoyed by it.

Great bags; super sticky adhesive
The quality of the product is exactly what I was looking for to replace our worn out reusable sandwich wraps. The material is sturdy and the velcro creates a great seal as well. My only complaint is the packaging. The sandwich and snack bag set came taped together with an unbelievably sticky adhesive. I had seen this mentioned in some other reviews and thought that it may have been a fluke in others' orders. I unwrapped the tape as carefully as possible yet there was still sticky residue left on the bags. I applied lemon oil in an attempt to remove the remaining adhesive, which had a minimal effect. I also put them through a cycle in the dishwasher. While there's not enough adhesive residue to make the bags unusable, it certainly caused more annoyance than I needed.

They are dishwasher safe, so they are super easy to clean. They have a little space to write your name on it so you don't get them mixed up. I have had my collection of them for years and they still work perfectly (so durable!). It is also crazy to see how much I have reduced my waste since using these. I actually bought these for a baby shower and they do serve as a great gift. Sandwich bag a tad too small
Good product, sturdy, washable material and I was able to wash off smeared oxidized avocado even after leaving it a day. That said, the sandwich size does not fit an 'adult serving' sandwich (I'm using Trader Joe's sourdough loaf which isn't the 'square' shaped bread). I now have to slice the sandwich in half and smoosh it in at an angle to make it fit, which is far from ideal. Overall the bags feel well made - might want to cut the inner tag before using - velcro closes securely, and helps me reduce the number of plastic ziplock bags used. I plan to buy more of the snack sized ones.

Great quality. Training your family will be the toughest part.
In my quest to reduce single-use plastics in my family's daily life, I did a lot of research and landed on Lunchskins (these washable ones and the paper disposable ones). In reading the reviews I was worried that buying the boat design (was cheaper than other designs on Black Friday) would have the "old" packaging with a frustrating sticker on it but I received the new packaging! It's a bit of a pain to hand wash the bags nightly (if we use them in a kid's daily lunch bag) but waiting for a dishwasher cycle isn't practical for us. I feel like I'm able to get a better clean by inverting these flexible bags for washing than I would with a stiff silicone pouch.

Sturdy, but they stain
These bags are a great way to reduce single use plastics whenever I need to package some food up. They don't collect odors (as far as I've noticed), and the design doesn't get wrecked in the top rack of the dishwasher. However, the bags do stain and little particles of food washed off in the dishwasher will get stuck in the velcro (easy to wash off under running water, just annoying).

Works great
Used it so far for goldfish crackers and grapes. No issues with crumbs coming out or any water from grapes leaking out. Easy to rinse and dries in minutes.
