Proper placement on a key

Make sure it is positioned high enough on a key as to not impede inserting into the lock. Great product!

Problem solver for finding the house key in the dark by feel and lighting up the lock.

I've got lots of items on my key ring, keys to two cars, USB-A/-C flash drive, Leatherman Squirt PS4, P-51 opener, Stanley PowerLock 3' micro tape measure, and the house key. Finding the house key and have it oriented correctly in the dark or with your hands full is the problem. With this stuck to the key, I can easily find it by feel and have it oriented correctly before pushing the button to light the key hole. The button pushes pretty hard so it probably won't get forced on in your jeans pocket. Instructions: - Press the button so you know which way the light is pointing. - Be careful! Once it hits the metal of the key, that's it. It isn't moving. - Place it on the thumb side of the key when the key is oriented properly for the lock so when you feel it you can flip it to your thumb side and know it is right-side up for the lock and the button is under your thumb, ready to push the light button. PS: This is the second Lucky Line item I've bought that has been well thought out. I bought a Twisty Lock nylon coated key cable from them years ago and the nylon is fine and it still works perfect. I bought the Flex-lock first but that would come apart in my jeans pocket some time. Cables allow your keys to lay flat in your pocket without the poking or binding, and you don't need to untwist keys when you put them into your ignition. Once you get the hang of them, it's way faster and nicer than threading things off from a key ring.

Could be better but..

It works ok for locating the ignition in my pickup in the dark. I’ve used this since late August 2022 & is still working! I wish the button was a little easier to press but then it may now last as long. I had a plastic one that was plastic & the loop that attached to the key ring broke. I’m lucky I didn’t loose the key when it happened so this I feel is a better option. Be sure to clean the key with rubbing alcohol to allow the light to stick better & make sure placement doesn’t interfere with inserting the key completely & it should last a long time.

Poor lighting for keys

Small light goes off & on. But just sticks to key so after your keys are tossed around a bit it knocks light off of key. I thought it slipped over key but nope. I’m not one to read reviews but I’m learning to. ????‍♀️

Works great !!

I am often out at night and have a difficult time getting my key into the locked doors of my building. These key lights are wonderful and allow me to quickly enter my building. I gave one of the lights to a friend who is very pleased with it. Highly recommend.

Bright enough

Thought it clicked on and off but you actually have to keep your finger on the button to turn on the light and keep it on. I bought this light to stick to my motorbike number plate to light it up (as it states its waterbproof) until I can get a proper light installed - is bright enough for this and have managed to cobble together an attachment to hold it in place. Would be better it it had an on/of switch but is good enough for what it is designed to do.

Stops working
