The plastic is durable as all heck! This stuff is ready for doomsday and is definitely overkill. The adhesive seems pretty decent thought not the strongest. Seems like it might come off easier in colder weather. I would reinforce it if you are putting it in long term storage especially in below freezing conditions. It was a bit pricy but this is definitely one of those you get what you pay for situations. If you have an expensive mattress I would highly recommend this and then reinforcing with some duct tape along the opening and you should be entirely golden. If it's just a cheap mattress and short term storage or moving I'm sure this is more than good enough as is.

Super thick and durable mattress bag
This mattress bag does exactly what it’s advertised for, HOWEVER, even though this isn’t a vacuum mattress bag, I was able to jimmy rig a vacuum hose through a corner at the top (prior to completely sealing it), it didn’t work as good as hoped (definitely would have worked with a shop vac or other strong vacuum), and so we just ended up using ratchet straps over the cover, to be able to fold and transport our mattress. If you simply need a basic cover to store or transport flat mattresses, this bag fits the bill, as it is extremely thick and durable...you might also be able to vacuum shrink a memory foam mattress if you use a powerful vacuum. Would definitely purchase again!

If done correctly, works well to vacuum seal matress when moving
Bought this bag to vacuum seal my matress when I moved. To be clear, this bag is not designed for vacuum sealing, only storage, but it still worked very well. Had to use duct tape to seal the edge since the preinstalled tape isn't really air tight in the corners. Cut a small hole in the middle of the bag and stuck my shop vac hose tip into it, sucked out the air, then rolled the matress and duct taped it in the roll. ROLLING AND DUCT TAPING THE ROLL IS VERY IMPORTANT. As mentioned before, this bag is not designed to be used for vacuum sealing, so it does leak. If you don't roll and duct tape the roll the matress will just blow right back up. Use the bag to shrink the matress, roll/tape it, and then the tape doesn't allow it to expand back up since the bag leaks. Use plenty of tape, air pressure is more powerful than you think. 10/10 would use again.

Works
Bought for my mattress during the moving process. Didn't expect too much from these. They were light and flimsy but did the job of protecting my mattress from dirt. These are super easy to rip but if needed for a quick, temporary move, it works to protect the mattress

Fits a Queen Mattress with Plenty of Room
This was exactly what I was looking for. I have a queen mattress that won’t be used for a few more months and it’s just taking up space in my dining room. I wanted to seal it before putting it in the basement just in case, and this bag was perfect. It was huge! I could’ve probably fit the box spring in there too. It also came with a sticker that you can seal it with, but I wasn’t crazy about it. It just wasn’t sticky enough and the bag was so big it was hard to figure out how to stick it. The bag ripped a little but that was 100% my fault .. after we finally got the mattress down the basement and in the bag I just wanted to seal it and be done with it, but I did rip it a bit. I ended up rolling the excess bag space and tying the ends with rubber bands for extra security. I definitely recommend this product and will buy it again.

These mattress bags must be made of steel...
I was disappointed that I did not get to use these for my move because they arrived about a week later than the promised shipment date; however, I gave 2 of them to my mom and dad for their recent move and the bags survived much more of a beating than I would ever have imagined. If you're looking for extra durable mattress bags to store your mattress or couch in, these are the ones for you. My dad was hauling half of his sectional couch wrapped in one of these mattress bags on his trailer and my dad being my dad didn't tie it down. Long story short the couch bounced off his trailer going about 75 mph on to the highway and rolled off on to the side of the road unbeknownst to him. After finding out he had lost the couch off of his trailer, we went back for it and the mattress bag had not one little tear. If that's not quality, then I don't know what is. So yeah, I would highly recommend these mattress bags. If they can survive a fall of that magnitude, they can certainly survive sitting in a storage unit un-bothered.

It did the job
I appreciated that this came in a two pack- we had a single and queen mattress that we needed covered for a quick move across town. I think for an in town move, these are sufficient. If you're going to be packing away your mattress in storage for a long time or doing a big, cross country move, you may want something that's a bit thicker. These bags are pretty thin, will definitely rip once you tug on them a bit to move heavy mattresses. It's better to think that they cannot be reused for mattresses once used for a move- but even with some holes, I'm planning to reuse them for covering furniture that's going into storage. All in all, this did the job, and our mattresses stayed clean and dry from the rain we had on our moving day.

Very durable, very sturdy.
Perfect for moving our king size 18" double pillow top mattress. Love the sticky close tabs. Lots of room leftover. Can't believe I paid $25 to use it for one time only =(. But it does protect the mattress and it is very thick and no holes afterwards. Just too expensive.

Good Fit
It fit very nicely over my mattress and left a little extra at the end for me to tape it up. However, for the price I wish the covering was more durable. I hope there won't be any holes in the bag during the move...

Thick and very protective
I used it in my rv, made the bed and then used the bag. Bed will be ready to use come springtime. Would have liked a zipper or velcro closure. Tape wasn't great. Would have given a 5 star 3xceot for the tape closure

they are not for repeated use they are thin easily torn and not overly cheap considering they are one time use.

Best protection for your mattress
These are heavy duty covers for your expensive mattress. We moved recently and did our due diligence seeking out a mover that would keep our stuff clean and damage free. As it turned out they were indeed careful but their truck was filthy. I’m glad we had these covers, they slid the mattresses in on the dirty floor of the truck but they were well protected with these covers installed. The only downside to these covers is that it makes the mattress hard to hang onto because the cover is slippery. Really glad we used these. In spite of the dirty truck our mattresses arrived completely damage free. Good adhesive on the closure. Not a perfect seal but it stayed shut even with the mattresses being manhandled during the move. Would definitely use again.
