Displays accurate time clearly
I prefer analog clocks as they are easier to read from a distance and at various angles. This one keeps perfect time from the southeast US (albeit on a west wall; however other brands fail on a west wall if not by a window). It made it flawlessly through the last DST change. The smaller size is what I needed for the space it went into, and it fits perfectly. It has a fairly quiet tick tick tick noise which I like, and is fine for my office, but my wife can't stand any ticking noise when trying to sleep, so depending on if you care about the ticking it might not be a good choice for a bedroom. The reason for dinging it a star is that the outer rim doesn't look like metal nor does it reflect like in the picture. It is obviously plastic. Overall, if the ticking doesn't bother you want it, and it is the right size, I'd say this would be a good choice, especially since it succeeds where it matters most: clearly displaying accurate time.

GIVE IT TIME TO SYNC
All in all, it is a nice clock. I almost returned it the first day. I tried to get it to sync and set itself and thought it was off by 20 minutes and 30 seconds....and I even called customer service but I refrained from taking it apart or pushing the RESET button......and overnight it finally corrected itself and began displaying the correct time...so, long story short.....give it time, and try to have the clock in a position to receive the signal from Colorado!!! Don't be like me and expect it to work right out of the box. It really does receive the signal better at night, at least from my location. Now I have a clock displaying the NIST U. S time....and I am happy!! It is a fairly attractive item, and looks about as you would expect. It does not have a metal frame however...but looks decent enough for the price. BUY one...

Although a bit short on style choices, this item works perfectly well.
I bought two similar items via Amazon for comparison on quality. One arrived surprisingly quick. Thus far, after a few weeks, they are functioning perfectly. There however is a more limited choice in decor and style than non radio-controlled clocks. Years ago, I bought a brand called "La Crosse", for which after only a short time in use, its sweep hand stopped moving, yet the rest of the clock is still functioning after at least 6 years.

Worked perfectly for just under 11 months then it died.
This clock worked perfectly for just under 11 months then it died. I thought the battery was dead (even though my other Lorell Atomic clock has run nearly 2 years without needing a new battery) so I replaced the battery with a new one and it didn't even make it 24 hours before it locked up again at the same time, 8:50. I like the looks. The letters are easy to read from across the room for an older person with diminishing eyesight... however it is only backed for 90 days. I'm going to order one more and hopefully this one will last. I genuinely believe there is no reason for a clock like this to last 10 to 20 years, just needing to replace the battery every year or two. I'm giving the company one more chance by purchasing another specifically because I like the looks that much BUT if it fails prematurely I won't buy another.

Two switches to control this clock -- so there aren't ...
Two switches to control this clock -- so there aren't many ways to configure it. To spite this limited number of switches, it took some time/effort to find the "right" combination to get this watch to correctly tell time. Following the manual (and reading the lettering next to the switch) was worthless during PST. Now that it's PDT, the empirically-determined switch settings correspond to what the manual said -- though the clock was supposed to change itself when for PST-->PDT. Seems to work OK ... but way more trouble than it should be to get it to properly tell the correct time.

Does its job even in distant Mexico
Receives radio/time signal even in central Mexico. The clock once fell down but took no harm! 4 adjustabe time zones + DST is all you need.

This is a really good radio controlled clock and it's reasonably priced
This is a really good radio controlled clock and it's reasonably priced. The clock is reasonably quiet-- I can hear the second hand advancing if I am closer than about 15 feet, so if that's a potential issue for you, take note where you'll hand it. I especially like the feature that adjusts the time to accommodate daylight savings time.
