Best Eye Shadow Palate

This is the 3rd time I’ve ordered this in the past 3 years! I love it! I’m a 65 yo brunette. Wanted a palate that didn’t have the shimmer and one that would last all day. This eye shadow is still in place after all day wear! It’s small enough to travel with. I’ve tried other brands and always come back to this one!!!

Super saturated

Good quality makeup in cheap cardboard packaging. Doesn't stay closed (no clasp or magnet). I was shocked at how saturated the darker colors are - it's almost hard to use the browns lightly enough. If you're going for that drag look, this might be for you.

Imperfect :( but product is great

The palette itself is one of top 2 palettes of all time (from a 2 decade collector). Colors are creamy and easily bendable. I laugh with the user who said they don't like the darks, and especially the black. As a medium brown person, I only use the right side, and use the black as a liner LOL. So, the palette is perfect for most skincolors. Also, the palette is small enough to be portable. Packaging is cardboard, but doesn't feel cheap. Lid has a good mirror. My issue is that the one I received had poor quality control. The pans are stamped into the palette not straight. As a perfectionist, this really bothers me.

Perfect palette of basics

I got this to be a companion palette to some of my other palettes because I wanted a variety of matte shades that could go easily with other shadows. I am impressed by the shadow formula of these and found them very easy to apply and blend out. One huge pro for this palette is that the black shade is a true black and it has excellent pigmentation. I didn’t have to fuss around a lot with building it up in the outer corner to deepen things up or along my lash line instead of regular liner. And like the other shades, it blended out nicely. It is the nicest, most pigmented black I’ve ever used and I’m so pleased!

The (almost) Perfect Matte Palette

I love this palette. My first one has traveled the world with me. It is constantly kept in my travel makeup bag and I hit pan finally and needed to replace. I think this is the first palette I have ever enjoyed so much that I replaced it with the same one. I typically put on the lightest colors (I blend the two lightest up and down on my brush) on my eyelid and I even lightly dust and set my concealer under my eye with them. The second colors to the right are my lid colors and I lightly used the third set for depth. I even take a small liner brush and go over my eyeliner with the darker browns and burgundy to set them. The only color I do not use in this palette (and why I said 'almost perfect') is the black. Black is just too harsh for my aging eyes. But that hasn't kept me from re-purchasing this palette. It will always be my stand-by travel palette. Highly recommend. The formula blends perfectly. Great color payoff.

Nice for a Travel Size

I was already a consistent user of Lorac. I really like their eye shadows. They are nicely pigmented and stay in place. I particularly like their mattes. So when I went looking for a new neutral Pallette and found this one, I was super excited! Not going to lie... I bought this one based on 2 things. #1 the colors #2 because I read 2 reviews where people said this Pallette lasted them over a year (even with daily use). While I don't wear makeup on a daily basis.... I simply cannot believe this would last a year - even for me. It's more like a Travel Size. I've included pictures with my favorite makeup brush to show the actual size. So basically I give it 5 stars for quality and colors but I have to take away stars for the tiny compact size. It wasn't what I was expecting in that sense but I do love the colors!

I used the same palette nearly every single day for ???????????????? ???????????????? ???? ???????????????? before I finally used all of ONE color - I still had most of the others left! - shadows/shades that stay in place from pre-dawn to post-midnight - No, I’m serious, they ???????????????????????????????????? last that long - An eyeshadow for those of us with sensitive skin that can be worn all day, lasts all day, and can still be easily removed with only mild makeup remover/gentle cleansing - it includes every shade you need: Whether you’re striving for a more natural/everyday look or a glamorous/dramatic one (or anything in between) - this palette can definitely do it - It’s compact, durable and travels well: I’ve tossed it into my bag (and/or dropped it) more times than I care to admit and I’ve never had a single shade crack/break I’ve purchased this eyeshadow palette 3 times - twice for me and once as a gift for my mom. This is the first eyeshadow I’ve ever had to buy twice because I used every ounce of the first! This palette has the perfect colors for every day wear, a casual night out or a fancy night on the town — It’s versatility alone is worth every penny! The quality is outstanding - by far the nicest eyeshadow I’ve ever used — and that includes nearly every major brand from your cheaper drugstore products (Rimmel, CoverGirl, Revlon, etc) to the more high-end “found in department stores only” cosmetics (Clinique, Estée Lauder, any brand sold in Sephora, etc), I have yet to find a superior eyeshadow! Every time I’ve strayed from this palette has resulted in disappointment and ultimately I find myself going back to this eyeshadow - it never fails!

Perfect pallet- except the mirror was broken on arrival.

I love this pallet! Perfect cool toned matte shades. My only complaint was that it arrived with the mirror cracked and broken. This makes it difficult to bring with me to use on the go. Better packaging could have solved this issue and made it a five star purchase.

Buenos colores, pero hay mejores paletas

Pros: -Buena selección de colores -Excelente pigmentación -Fácil de difuminar -Se desvanecen parejo Cons: -Súper polvosas - No duran todo el día en los párpados. Tomando en cuenta la cantidad de colores, la variedad entre los tonos y la manera en que se ven cuando están recién aplicadas, creo que es un buen producto. Pero al final del día ya no tengo nada en los párpados. No las he probado con primer, pero para el precio, creo que no deberían necesitarlo para llegar al final del día. Ya no digamos a final del día con la misma intensidad, sino simplemente acabar con "algo" después de ocho horas. Al menos se desvanecen de forma pareja y no dejan parches de color. Por otro lado, al ser bastante polvosas, me parece que es de esas paletas que se van a acabar pronto, por la cantidad de producto que pierden al tocarlas con la brocha (zoeva, mac). En precio similar, aunque con menos colores (pero creo que más o menos la misma cantidad de producto), se encuentran las sombras de Urban Decay Naked Basics. En mi opinión, menos fáciles de difuminar, pero mucho más duraderas en los párpados y menos polvosas.

Dos sombras viene repetidas

Dos sombras vienen repetidas, el estuche viene muy sucio por dentro por un manejo descuidado y en general los tonos no se parecen a la foto. Me decepcionó totalmente, pedí enseguida la devolución y no pienso volverla a comprar, que lástima porque me hacía mucha ilusión.
