GREAT CLASSIC RAIN TRENCH

This trench is pretty much what I've come to expect from London Fog. The overall quality is good, the design is classic and will never go out of style. I have a shorter one that I've owned for decades and hope that this one will last just as long. It has a thin lining, and I would consider it light/medium weight. I sized up from my normal size medium to a large so that I would have room for sweatshirts and sweaters, and it works great. I purchased this trench in the black and the stone color, but returned the stone because in day light it had a greenish/yellow hue to it that was giving puss vibes. My complaint with this trench is that the buttons are not sewn on well. I lost a button the first and second time I wore it. Now I have the hassle of sewing on the two buttons or taking it to the cleaners to have them do it. I did not have this issue with my old London Fog, so I'm hoping this is just a lazy button sewing issue and not London Fog's overall quality declining.

Love love love

Love this coat. It is timeless. It was a little too big so I have to return it for a smaller size. It was also wrinkled but I steamed it and it is perfect. Otherwise, I am 100% satisfied with the look and quality of this coat!

Beware- Same London fog quality but not same sizing- purchased a small- it’s like a child wearing daddy’s coat! Am past return window- will have to sell/give away. Really wanted it, sad

Lovely!

I knew this coat was a no brainer because it’s a London Fog! I was confident in the quality but not in the size. I’m 5’8” and a size 16. The size chart told me to order a 1x but my gut told me that was wrong. Sure enough I ordered an extra large and it fits great. If anything it’s just a little bit big but not too much. Hope this helps other people out.

Great coat!

I got the London Fog trench coat in beige color, and I love it! Is is worth every penny! Very good quality, with thin lining, beautifully made. I am 5’4” , 125 lbs, 34C and got size M. It fits well with some room for a thicker sweater. I truly recommend it!

This is high quality coat, good investment piece

This is a treat for find on Amazon as I had one years ago and was disappointed when it no longer fit. The fit is a bit boxier than with some trench coats. The fabric and lining are high quality. The coat is well made as per the quality one expects with the London Fog company. Even my grandmother would rave about London Fog coats many years ago. I am keeping the 1X and returning the 2X. I am disappointed that the 2X is $50 more and I would appreciate a discount from the company. The length is good for a professional look as it provides good coverage when getting in and out of vehicles. I chose the black for durability in bad weather (and occasional coffee spills...). The beige is lovely on some people but the upkeep dissuades me from the beige. The black is a deep black and not faded in appearance. I would highly recommend this coat. It is a workhorse piece that will last many years.

BETTER THAN BURBERRY.

Replacing a London Towne Trench after weight loss (10 sizes)...old one is from 1990, still perfect. Top quality construction & materials. Looking forward to 30+ years with this one too.

Well made. Colour and plus sizing is perfect. Great value.

I like that the colour is more beige than stone. The fit is a little loose which is perfect for wearing jackets and sweaters underneath. The full length is also perfect for cool or rainy days. My only problem is that the material is very creased from the packaging and are difficult to get rid of. I've tried washing the coat and steaming it, with no success.
