My daughter loved hers
This was such a cute stocking stuffer for my daughter. She was so happy to get this LOL in there. Loves the ornament that it came in. She is constantly putting different LOL's in it.

Not unique, disappointing.
My daughter ordered one on line, received one from Christmas, and bought one at target. Three separate locations and they were all the same. :(

Choking hazard
I don't know why my husband bought this. Our daughter is only 6 months old. Clearly not age appropriate. It's cute, I guess. You can change the outfit and such. It's a doll with a big head inside a ball. I'm only writing this review because I've never been so confused about a purchase from my husband.

it's cute BUT...
first let me say that i got the pet... a lovely little black "ox" with loads of pretty little golden details... as well as having udders...? (did not know oxen had the same set up as your average heifer, but okay.) as i said, i think the pet's quite pretty. BUT... i was disappointed in the way it was set up. the "accessories" were more likely to fit the doll than the pet. what there Were of them... what Did the pet Actually have with it? -the ill fitting shoes. (the shoes won't stay on; being waaay too loose) -the ill fitting collar/thingie. (the "collar"? was more like a shawl or necklace for the doll... because it did Not fit the pet!) -and a purse shaped like a Chinese lantern... for the doll. -no stand (the stand "included" is built into the ball and like everything else, is geared Specifically for the Doll ONLY) to speak of. while cute, i can't display the pet in the ball it actually Came In. they really need to do something about that. if they're going to include pets in the balls, as they do the dolls, they really Should make it so the balls can be used for displaying the pets As Well. -and of course the bottle they All come with. -the "secret message" is a sticker with a picture of the pet on it. (i gather that it's actually only Half of the sticker as pictures of the doll show her having the same sticker only the other half) -Oh and an empty red l.o.l. surprise envelope that goes with the Chinese New Year theme. which, did they count That as one of the "surprises"? because if they did, shame on them for being so cheap! they could have at Least put the half sticker in it to make it more in line with the holiday. or well, Anything would have been cool. so long as it wasn't Empty. so... long n short of it is this... this is all a gamble. as all blind bags/toys are. so be aware that even if you Did buy two balls, there's no guarantee you'd get one of each. and only One of the things in there will really have any sort of stuff to go with it. and it Ain't the pet.

Manufacturing Defect! No Sunglasses on mine
The packaging indicates that the doll comes with sunglasses. I ordered two of these and both we're missing the sunglasses and instead came with an extra pair of the same shoes. Cute otherwise.

Beautiful Limited Edition LOL doll
The media could not be loaded. Love love love this Limited Edition LOL “Year Of The Ox” doll. The attention to detail is stunning as usual. Quality is standard LOL stuff. But the design of this one was impressive to both me and my 5 year old daughter, who has over a hundred LOL dolls, so we’ve seen them all at this point. It arrived quickly and we unboxed it immediately. The shiny red glitter ball (that has a string attached so it can also be used as an ornament), pretty packaging and patterns, beautiful outfit and accessories are amazing. This year, 2021 is the year of the Ox ???? but the years of the ox also are: 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009, and upcoming is 2033. It’s a zodiac sign that occurs every 12 years. This is absolutely a collectors item and I am thinking of buying more just to keep or give as gifts. If you know anyone born in one of the years listed above this would make a great birthday or Christmas gift. Teens and adults would enjoy it too. Truly is a beautiful collectible doll.

You only get one, the doll or the ox and it's random
I ended up ordering 3 times. I had read many reviews where customers ordered multiple balls at once only to get all dolls or all Ox. First ball we got was an Ox. I waited a few weeks and got another Ox. Waited a few more weeks and decided to try one more time and the girl arrived today. I'm fine with the double. We will open one and gift the other or just save it as a collector item. My husband and I wonder if it isn't deliberate that people are getting 4 of one in a single order so that customers will try again for whichever one they are missing. For those saying the pet is missing, the pet is it's own LOL ball and isn't meant to come with her. Our daughter loves LOL and I'm happy to have these tucked away for a gift for her.

I want to buy what a pay for
These dolls are beautiful and my daughter loves it. I ordered 1 and my daughter got the doll. I ordered a second in Hope's of getting the ox when the 2nd item arrived we got the doll again. It broke my heart to see how devastating this was for her. Please Amazon, I have now purchased a 3rd. Make sure it's the Ox pet and not the doll. I cant witness that heartbreak again.
