Good glasses. Glare reduction was my requirement.
Overall these glasses worked as I expected. I am very happy. So, I did not feel that I should ding a star just because they 'felt' cheap to me. The proof is in the pudding, as they say, and these glasses fit the bill perfectly. Here are my thoughts. My initial feeling was that they were cheap. No case. They came in a small clear sandwich bag. The rest of the box was filled with airbags. I wasn't looking for a case, but for 20 bucks.......... I would expect some kind of case.... or,, put them in a gift box or something. Even a cardboard box would have helped.... in addition to the Amazon shipping box. To be clear - the description did NOT mention a case, and I really wasn't expecting one. It's just that when I saw them in the clear sandwich bag... it kinda turned me off. The picture of the product on Amazon has the "Flying Fisherman" logo silk screened on the glasses. The product I received has the logo on a striip that is glued on the side. It kind of makes you think that the glasses are not 'personal'. Again, the feeling of cheap comes up again in my mind. Now, I received these exceptionally fast........... maybe the lack of a case? lol It's a cloudy day so cannot check out right now.... so I thought.... see comments later in the review. Funny, was checking out the glasses in the bathroom… the blue walls actually looked blue with the glasses on… usually there is too much glare and the walls never look right. There is no distortion in the lens. Nice. I have a large head. They feel fine on the face. I saw some reviews mentioning that the nose guard gets in the way of the view.... not for me. Dimensions: 5 ½ inch wide – to the side of the frame - 1 ¾ in high 5 inch wide to the outside edge of the lenses – looking from the front Depth 5 to 5 1/2 inches from the nose to the center of the ear rest. The frames go back about 6+ inches, but that last ½ inch or so is needed to hold behind your ear. At least that is the way I am thinking about it. Normally you want the glasses to land on your ear, and then curl down a bit so they don’t fall off. Front to back 6 ¾ to the end of the frame from the front of the lenses They stay on your head….. tension is fine. And, the little dip after the ear rest also works nicely. Cloudy day – looked outside at my car… There is glare on the top of the car from my upstairs window. The glare was completely eliminated. The glare on the side of the car did not change noticeably . They look ok…. I felt the lenses were were a little too large. That is a personal preference only. As I looked in the mirror, I kinda felt that I had on those glasses that they give you after cataract surgery. But, my purchase was for the polarizing feature...........not on looks. Use the measurements that I gave you earlier to compare to your face/fit. Real world daytime test: I got these to stop the glare on my windshield from the large dashboard. Yes, they work great. I no longer see the dashboard reflection. Polarize function works fine. I am a happy camper!!!!! I even use these on cloudy days now. I got the smoke color lens…. They are not real dark, but, they are not light either. You would not want to use these at night or dusk. For me they were just right.

Great glasses, couple design flaws
Overall I really like these glasses. They're lightweight, fit pretty well, and are really tough. I beat the absolute crap out of these glasses - they never see a case, but spend a lot of time in cargo pockets while I'm hiking or climbing. I had one pair where I broke *both* arms, but they're held together by the rubber ear pieces enough that I can still use them. That kind of abuse will scratch them, but they still basically work. I've bought 4 pairs of these, and I'm about to get another couple. So seriously, I do like them, even though I'm about to complain a bunch. :) As another review mentioned, the ends of the arms *will* scratch the inside of the lenses. It's not directly in your line of vision, but it's in my peripheral vision so it's a little annoying. It would be really nice if that could be prevented. The second problem is that the lenses are held on by the little plastic piece on the bridge of the nose. That plastic piece is just friction fitted into the frame. Mostly that's OK, but if you pop it off (eg, by shoving them in a too-small pocket, causing the arms to push on the lenses and pop them out) then the glasses are basically toast. The piece will get looser and looser, until even a light touch will make the whole thing literally fall to pieces. This can be fixed with a drop of superglue, but it's a PITA, and I wish the manufacturer would just glue the piece on there securely in the first place.

Takes a beating just not a heavy one
I’ve done the expensive sunglasses before but, I am pretty active and rough on things so it’s usually not worth it. From hiking, being in the outdoors, and working outside I’m always getting knocked around. I didn't want to invest heavily into sunglasses I knew I would eventually break. I came across these and liked the design and most comments seemed positive so I figured I'd give it a go. These sunglasses are a lite weight frame with 2 lenses that are inserted into the frame. I liked that in the beginning because if I wanted I could remove them entirely and clean them. For the first couple months they were pretty awesome. Sleek design and didn't pinch my nose, and fit well to my face. After that they just began to scratch and then eventually the lenses began to pop out on the regular. I really began to hate the two separate lenses. If I ever tried to just use a lens cloth to wipe them down a lens would pop out. I had to develop my own technique to deal with it into month 4. I actually got a solid 5 months from these and that isn’t the worst I've had. They actually broke after I bent over and they fell off my face, maybe a foot, to tap the soft ground where the frame proceeded to snap in half. I think they just had enough of a beating and this was them committing suicide. But looking back on it I wish I tossed them sooner. I just dealt with all the faded scratched up lenses and the constant lens ejections. Don’t get me wrong, I caused all the damage to these sunglasses and they put up with a lot but not for as long as other cheap sunglasses have done in the past. Think I need to stick with whole frame sunglasses that don’t have removable lenses which seem to stay together just a little longer. I would still recommend these to someone who isn’t as rough on sunglasses but not for myself. Pros: - Lite weight - Sleek Design - Removable lenses (If they stay in when you want them to) - Take a good deal of punishment (just not a lot). Cons: - Didn’t last as long as I would have liked. - Lenses popped out A LOT. - They just gave up and snapped in half.

Great price
I’ve bought these for years, and they’ve been great. I kept loosing the super expensive sunglasses while sailing or fishing and these were just 12 bucks when I got my first pair. So they saved me a boatload compared to some 50-100 dollar sunglasses. Polarized and pretty good eye cover. Not super styling but good enough for me.

Perfect purchase
I like the wrap around, no rim feel. No distractions or blind spots on the side. Durable, and effective, definitely recommend

Excellent quality
Bought these glasses for when I go fly fishing, and I can honestly say they are really good. Well worth it.

Ideal for Fly Fishing
The best thing I’ve found with these glasses is that they are very lightweight which is great if you are fly fishing for hours at a time, no discomfort and the anti-glare is good enough to face directly into the sun reflecting off the river too. I will definitely buy another pair if I lose or break this one!

Three Stars
The sunglasses arrived without covering box. Its disapointing to purchase sunglasses worth more than 2K without box.

Comfy and cuts the glare...good fishing glasses
They are super comfortable. I have a pair from Canadian Tire that are more rigid than these and wearing them all day get a little painful. These are light weight and cut down the glare from the water to help a person see more fish that with the naked eye or with traditional sunglasses! Normally polarized glasses will change how much you can see out of them when you rotate them. I’m not seeing these glasses do that...could be a higher quality than I’m used to using...
