Made our crowded counter a little better.

This might not change your life, but it is handy as heck! We put the little spices on the bottom and bigger ones, like paprika and soy sauce on top. A well built unit, l shopped around to find the best deal, as prices vary.

small, attractive and spins well

Looking at other reviews, good and bad, I get the impression that some of these are poorly made and some are okay. Which one you get is a roll of the dice. Mine was fairly easy to assemble. I did have to lightly tap the dowels into place with a small hammer but they did fit and the finished product works well. It is attractive, fits in small spaces and the lower shelf holds items up to 5 inches tall. I set mine on the counter by the coffee maker to hold k-cups and condiments. I just might roll the dice and buy another.

This is working out well...

First of all I want to thank all the reviewers for their input. Weighing all your pros and cons, I decided to gamble on this 2-tier turntable because it is essential for my limited cabinet space. That being said, I'm glad I bought this because it utilizes every last bit of space in the cabinets and now all my extra spices and teas, etc. are completely organized. The height and width of the tiered tables are perfect for all my needs. I already had two single-tier bamboo turntables, which actually have better quality spinning mechanisms with smoother metal parts. This 2-tier turntable does have some plastic in the mechanism, so I'm going to say right off the bat, don't man-handle it, you need to be gentle with it when spinning, it is not 100% smooth, but the one I got is totally usable and I am pleased every time I open the cabinet to get something. Because of the plastic, I don't think it will last forever. For those who are not handy with building things: be very careful during assembly. You will need a rubber mallet, and do not be tempted to hammer from the top down, or you will damage the spinning mechanism. You need to turn the table upside down, insert the pegs and gently hammer only the areas that are at the end of the wood support pins. Do not hit anything against the smaller bamboo cylinder that the turntable will spin on or it will not work properly. The pegs on my turntable fit extremely tight, so I did not notice any need for glue. Also, I did give the center screw a tiny extra turn because I thought it might be a bit too loose, but not sure that was necessary All in all, a great device. I've been in many kitchens that would have been better organized with one or two of these.

Great product. You won't be disappointed.

This is a great lazy susan. I needed something for my bathroom to put all my shaving stuff on and some other odds and ends. I don't have a ton of counter space, so any storage things I could find that might be suitable either crowded the sink, obscured the mirror, collided with the only outlet in the bathroom (conveniently placed in the most useless and inconvenient place on the wall), or stuck way out into the counter space. Then I stumbled on this and had an epiphany. It was just about exactly as wide as I wanted it to be, and would fit nicely into the corner space on my counter. Took a chance. I love it. It is nicely made and very attractive. It works perfectly for my purposes and the fact that it spins is super handy. Much better, imho, than a static shelf or plastic bins, etc. Makes things very accessible. The only potential downside for me is that I am using it in a bathroom and it really is not intended for high humidity environments. So time will tell how much of a factor that will be. At less than $15, if I have to replace it from time to time, that's just fine with me. I will probably pick up another one for my kitchen. It would be really nice to have on the counter for some odds and ends that I use a lot.

over priced perfect size. posts a little iffy

its wood and I wanted wood but the skinny little posts are fragile and will likely snap if this is moved around very much. they dont seat properly in all the holes. I I glue it that will hold them in place however, as one is off kilter because it wont seat fully like the other two this is going to add to fragility. Ill keep it and use it but not order another. it also is only delivered in a slightly padded envelope. this kind of wood needs padding. if you drop it it will likely split along a seam as others have mentioned.

Perfect addition to my cabinet

I've always hated my disorganized spice cabinet. I have one old rotating disc spice holder - that was piled deep with spices. I could never see the stuff behind the outside layer. on the other side of the cabinet and on the upper cabinets I just had stuffed piled in. This 2-level spinning turntable solved all my problems. It made it possible for me to clean up and organize all the spices in a neat and orderly way. The bottom shelf is tall enough for ANY spice container I had. The top shelf is limited by my cabinet height. I chose not to move my shelf height in the cabinet - simply because it would've made that shelf difficult to use. So my upper are on this turntable only holds the short type of spices. I'm very happy with the unit - it's sturdiness and good looks. Surely recommend it.

Spin me right round baby...

This is a very attractive product, easy to put together and it spins effortlessly. It fits in my 15" deep upper cabinets nicely with room to spare. The only downside I can find is that my clubhouse spice containers are slightly too big to go on the lower level. They go in nicely, but it was a real struggle taking them out as there is a lip on the bottom that makes things difficult. Luckily the top tier houses these containers nicely. I can fit a lot of stuff and save myself from shifting through a lot of products to find the one I like

Beautiful Functional Bamboo!

This beautiful bamboo turntable is a welcome addition to any kitchen. A space saver inside cupboards; attractive on the counter, the turntable is functional. Looks great inside glass hutch for storing liquor and brandy glasses as well. Excellent quality. Glad I made this purchase!
