It’s okay
It’s doesn’t have the double clips like most to reassure no water leakage. I was extra cautious around water with it. So, I am unsure if it’s truly waterproof.

Keeps camera dry
We bought this case for a whitewater rafting trip, to take pictures with a regular digital camera. Pros: - It keeps the camera dry through the entire rafting trip (with frequent splashings). - The pictures came out decent. Note: There is a very slight reduction in light and sharpness of pictures, but it's a good option which enable us to use our regular digital camera (instead of purchasing an expensive waterproof camera). - The clear plastic appears to be quite durable -- we did not see any scratches after use. - It came in a good protective packaging, unlike the other camera case (Kwik-Tek) that we purchased from Amazon at the same time. - The soft, nylon lanyard was comfortable to wear and easily adjustable. Cons: - The plastic made it a little more difficult to see images on the screen in a sunny day. A lot of time, we just pointed the camera at what we wanted to take a picture of, and hoped that the camera lens captured the image that we wanted. - The design of the case was somewhat difficult to work with, even with a small camera. We really had to make sure that the camera lens had room to extend when we turned it on (if it hits the plastic, the lens would retract and shut off the camera). In comparison, the Kwik-Tek case is more roomy because one of the sides is flat instead of all 4 sides coming to a seam. Summary: The case keeps the camera dry during our rafting trip, and the pictures came out okay. Only works well with cameras that are small & thin. Note: The camera we used with this case is 3.5" x 2.5" x 1" (1.5" thick when turned on and the lens extends out).

Works like a charm!
I purchased this for use with my Kodak C195 digital camera and it produced some nice pictures, all the while not worrying me for a bit that my camera would get wet and ruined. It was put through the reins on a tubing trip down the Niobrara river in Nebraska. Not only was it submerged multiple times underwater it was used in multiple waterfalls. It kept the camera dry in all situations. I'm rating this product 5 stars because it kept my camera dry and was well worth the $9 I paid for it. That being said there is something you need to consider when purchasing this product. Now my camera, the Kodak C195, fit in the pouch just fine, I couldn't zoom the lens all the way out. This isn't the fault of the product, it was my fault for not getting a large enough pouch, they do sell larger ones. If I did attempt to zoom all the way out my camera would feel the pressure of it pulling the plastic and would turn itself off as not to damage anything. I could zoom about 4x normal, just not the whole 5x zoom my camera was capable of. One last note though, when you are done with using it in/near water make sure to open it up upside down. There will be water in the zip-lock parts, not past the 1st zip-lock, but there was definitely water sitting in there before the first zip-lock. Just hang it so the zip-lock is down and shake it a bit and all is good. Don't let the cheap price fool you, this will adequately keep your camera dry, just don't go past recommended depth and you'll be satisfied.

Great product for value and function!
Great product, especially for the value. I got this for a trip to Jamaica, so we could bring a small camera and not be afraid of it getting damaged. First off, we didn't intentionally try to see how far this could protect it's contents. We climbed a waterfall without any problems. This is partly significant because we had some pretty serious water hitting us at high speeds. Enough so that we had to use both hands, at times, to keep from getting washed down the waterfall. We took it in the sand at the beach, floated a few miles down a river, went up aggressive waterfalls - this thing took it all. I wouldn't trust it to be completely shoved under the water for an extended time (diving / snorkling), but anything less I will continue to use this for. There are 3 total ziploc type functions, that are rolled and then snapped shut. After some of the more intense activies, we found water had made it through 2 of the 3. Not a lot, just some moisture. I feel pretty good about that, but hence the 4 stars. The only thing that would have made this better was a option for size. It's a little large for most point/shoot cameras.

Much cheaper than a new camera.
We used this bag quite a bit on a recent cruise. We took it snorkeling and it kept our camera completely dry. It is a bit hard to work the controls of the camera while it's in the bag and my camera kept closing because the lens would hit the bag. I learned to avoid this by making sure there was a bit of air in the bag before I sealed it. We got some fairly nice photos tho we were disappointed that there was condensation distortion on some of them. I do feel that we got what we paid for and would recommend this product. We now take it to amusement parks with us to keep the camera dry on water rides. There are triple ziplock type seals as well as a foldover and snap seal. No water at all got in this bag. I liked that there was a slide on the neck cord that you could use to tighten it so it would not float off over your head. That is particular important when snorkeling in the ocean where there is a strong current or waves. My husband lost it once when he had it just slung over his arm but thankfully, it floats and we were able to recover it. Nice product for the price. Exactly as advertised.
