Best humidifier I've found - tried 2 before this
This is hands-down the best humidifier I've owned, and several months later it's still going strong. I first had a HomEdics one that didn't last more than 6 months, and the nozzle wasn't very posable. It was a pain to refill and held bacteria in the tank because I couldn't fit a brush to scrub it. I tried a Vicks cool mist humidifier after, and it was easier to fill and had a slot for vicks vapor rub essential oil pads. It was better, but loud and the light never turned off which made sleeping disruptive. It was also clunky and odd-shaped to store. This was such a winning find. The tank is very large and the shape itself makes it neutral and sleek-looking, it's a slim rectangle so it can fit easily on a nightstand or dresser. I like that it's adjustable in 2 ways for the vapor nozzle on top, so you can concentrate or diffuse the mist in one or two directions. It's very quiet, and soothing as well. There isn't ambient lighting, though the touch-power panel lights up a color depending on the intensity of mist you want. It comes apart easily to clean and even comes with a scrub brush for the nooks and crannies. It isn't top-fill, but it's leak proof when you fill the reservoir and replace it on the tank body. I love that it also has a little drawer slot so you can use the vicks vapor pads and it diffuses the scent without contaminating the water! (If a humidifier says you can add oils to the water tank, that's a lie. Don't do that. Get an oil diffuser, not one for breathing). It comes with a reusable cotton pad to add your own essential oils too, and it stays seperate from the water and machinery. The only con I'd say is that the power button is a touch panel and is really sensitive, so it can accidentally get pressed easily and turned up or off or on. Tips: - always ONLY use distilled water. This is important to keep nastiness from mineralizing in the machine and in your lungs. - keep it cleaned. I wash after every single use with white vinegar (the tank is perfectly sized for 1 day/overnight use so water shouldn't sit idle in it) I definitely recommend this if you or your family, especially little ones, have bad congestion and enjoy the options of having essential oils diffused or just plain cool mist.

Humidifier that hits all the right points
This humidifier has been pretty freakin great for my bedroom. It's like sleeping in a tropical paradise (minus the heat and malaria) that my sinuses thank me for daily. Not only does it work like a charm in my spacious room, but it also looks pretty sleek. Pros: - Handles large rooms like a champ, keeping the air comfortably moist - Aesthetically pleasing design that doesn't scream "I'm a humidifier, look at me!" - Unique features like a massive 6L tank and manual dial for humidity precision - Price? Fair enough for what you're getting - Sturdy build that makes me feel like it'll last a while Cons: - Cleaning this thing is a must, unless you're into mildew parties - Seems to attract dirt like a magnet, even with purified water Final Thoughts: So, is it perfect? Nah. But it does a fantastic job in large spaces, looks good doing it, and has some neat features that make it stand out. The price won't break the bank, and it seems built to last. The cleaning part can be a pain, but hey, that's life with a humidifier. I haven't had to contact customer support, so no juicy stories there. All in all, I'm giving this bad boy 5 stars. If you need a large room humidifier, this one's worth considering. Just be prepared to clean it regularly, or you might find yourself hosting a mildew convention.

A great humidifier and diffuser in one
I have gone through a few diffusers now that just didn't hold up well and really don't give off as much vapor as most humidifiers. The problem I was having was most humidifiers out there do not offer any diffuser options for essential oils. That's when I found this unit and I couldn't be happier. It was a bit more expensive than some of the other options, but definitely worth it. The humidifier is really powerful with three settings. Honestly, for light diffuser use I found the lightest setting to more powerful than other cheaper diffusers. The higher settings are almost a bit overkill or really only needed for high humidying needs. Still nice to have though. There is one main power button and you just hit it once for the lightest setting, again for the second which changes the color, and again for the highest which is another color. Really simple and straight forward. You can also hold down the button which turns the light off while it still runs which is super cool as most other units I have found have an annoying power button which stays on while you're trying to sleep. It's really easy to use too. I like that the top container is separate from the base so you don't risk damanging the electric components while cleaning and it's relatively easy to clean. It's also nice that the diffuser thing is just a little pad you apply the oils to located on the back of the unit. It's really easy to use and add more oils to and it keeps the rest of the unit pretty clean from oil residue and buildup. In summary... Pros -Diffuser option with powerful humidifier (pretty hard to find) -Relatively easy to keep clean -Easy to add more essential oils -Three powerful settings with easy to toggle power button -Option to turn off the power light while running so it stays dark while sleeping Cons -It's still easy to use, but I guess it would be nice to have the option to add more water to the top without having to take it off from the base and unscrew it. I'm really lazy. -Again, not crucial, but some other units have a remote which this one does not.

Quiet? Yes. Silent? No.
This is pretty much what the other reviews say: compact, effective, simple to use. It holds a great deal of water and the lift-off tank design permits transfer to the kitchen sink for refills. Buying distilled water for it seems like a waste of money since it can be periodically de-scaled with vinegar solution. It does not leak. It does not cause condensation to rain down on the furniture. It is indeed quiet but it is NOT silent. Not to me, anyway. Either I'm part bat or the mist-making ultrasonic part isn't so ultra. In addition to the slight rush of the air fan that propels the mist -- it's just like a quiet laptop fan -- there is a thin, barely perceptible whine, heard only when you stand close. It is not as loud as the tinnitus you had as you left your last rock concert, but more like the sound left in your head about three days later. Full disclosure: your reviewer is a geezer who has attended concerts only once in seven decades — the first time was also the last — then took the hint and quit doing that. As a result I can still hear a mosquito pass wind. Younger folks who regularly attend concerts or listen to music using ear buds might not hear this thing at all if their high-freq hearing is shot, which may account for the reviews saying, "Wow! this makes no noise!" Happily, if the noise bugs you it can be returned. I'm keeping mine; just not running it in the bedroom at night. You're welcome. SUPPLEMENTAL: After using this a while I noticed the flames on my gas stove were suddenly tinged orange. Apparently, the humidity in the air can do that. Leave the humidifier off a while to correct the combustion.

Great Humidifier
This 3L size struggles in our 250 sq. ft. room in Calgary, Alberta. The humidifier is rated for up to 290 sq. ft. of space. The humidity in the winter in Calgary is dismal. The initial humidity reading in our room on the unit was 22%. Keep in mind that the temperature outside was -25C with a windchill of -40C day and night for those days. We ran the unit 24/7 for 6 days, and the humidity never exceeded 35%. The humidity is now maintained at 40% to 45%. The weather is -5C at night. We plan to use it when needed and not as a full-time humidifier. Pros: - Quiet - Easy to set up - Works with Alexa, and the included App is simple to use and works without any issues - Easy to fill & maintain - Stylish Con: - None so far

Works very well
Very quiet and does what it needs to do. The only complaint is its internal Humidity detector is not very good, so the auto setting doesn't work as expected.
