Worth the money
I installed this in a three gang box, center of three switch positions. It fit a little snug top and bottom but it did fit. Enough room on either side for the other two slim single pole switches. This works well with my fixture, which has four led bulbs. I’m using it in single pole mode so installation was very simple, for me anyway. No light flickers yet. That’s why I changed out the old dimmer, lights would randomly flicker which was annoying. I recommend this switch,

Better than Lutron.
As far as I’m concerned anyone having an issue with dimming has either installed it improperly or is using low quality or outdated led bulbs. Dimming has more to do with the bulb itself rather than the dimmer anyway. Anyway, this dimmer is better than the Lutron one because it is narrower for multi gang installations and has higher power ratings. It also uses micro switches and a microcontroller for dimming which allows it to have extremely smooth dimming and a nice fade on effect whereas the Lutron seems to use a more mechanical circuit design. This switch also has an optional glowing feature so it can be found in the dark. All of these benefits come at a lower cost which makes it a better choice. I’ve installed three next to each other in a multi gang box and they all tightly fit in the box. The switch works great out of the box with Sylvania TruWave bulbs and any other high quality dimmable bulb like Phillips Ultra Definition or WarmGlow bulbs. I have taken one star off because between the three I’ve ordered they all work properly but the switches have different stiffness between them. One of them felt really snappy and the other two were fairly stiff. Don’t worry about arcing though, because the mains doesn’t run through the mechanical parts of the switch.

Check your box measurements carefully!
I got these to retrofit an update of a 1930's home with old knob and tube wiring. Although much of the wiring has been upgraded, it has not been completely replaced and updated. The problem came in not with any of that, and I'm very happy with the switches overall. As others have noticed, with some of the "vintage" style bulbs there is a little flicker at maximum brightness, but in those locations it's not a real issue for me. One switch, for some reason I can't fathom, blinks the ceiling light about once every hour or so - 1 second duration, and if it weren't my office where I was working for extended periods I likely would never have noticed it. Those are still traditional bulbs, the new fixture has not yet gone in. The biggest problem encountered is that the switches would not fit in the wall boxes. These are old, metal / composite boxes installed when the house was built (and incidentally, they are behind plaster and a complete PITA to try to replace - it wasn't happening)! Nominally, the switches should fit in the boxes, but when I tried to put them in they simply wouldn't go. After a bit, I realized that there were tiny tabs - 2 on top, 2 on bottom - from where the electrical boxes were manufactured. This was just enough to keep the switch from fitting in the box. The Lutron switches that others have mentioned will fit, and the only difference I can see is the indicator light in these - which was one of the features desired. I suspect it somehow makes the switch the tiniest bit larger than those without it. The fix was to simply grind / cut off the tabs in the boxes. They've been there almost 90 years at this point and aren't likely going anywhere. Once they were smoothed out, the switches fit just fine in the boxes. Otherwise, they seem to be a good product and I am very satisfied. Just be aware of those extra steps involved if you run into similar issues.

Low profile dimmer
Really like this switch, as it adds the ability to dim without forcing you to have a massive switch on your wall. This is very subtle, yet easy to use and effective

Works great - love the locator light
Works great. This is the ONLY LED compatible dimmer with locator light that I have been able to find. Hard to find - not very popular? A shame. My previous, non-led dimmers have locator lights. I use these dimmers for my bathroom lighting so I don't need to choose between blinding myself with a bright light or stumbling through the dark. I wish there was a photo available of the locator light. I had to guess what it would look like - I'll try to post a picture when I get a chance. The locator is a dim green light which shows through the top portion of the toggle switch when the switch is off. The only complaint I have (well, two actually). 1) the LED lights only come on if the dimmer is set to 50% brightness. Once the light is on, it can be dimmed fully. It seems the LED needs a slight boost to kickstart it. 2) There is a noticeable delay between turning the light switch on and the light actually coming on ... maybe 250ms or so. Both problems can be overcome, I believe. It will just take some getting used to. My old dimmers could be left at dimmest setting and be turned on. I will probably get used to the startup delay. Both problems may just be inherent with using LEDs with AC power. One possible solution to problem 1 would be for the light switch to send out a pulse of power at 100% for 100ms or less, then reduce power to the dimmer setting. I do this in my electronics projects where I control an inductive load, like a fan, which requires some momentum to assist rotation below a certain threshold of power. This "kickstart" action is imperceptible to the user. Problem #2... I dunno, maybe a capacitor? This probably has more to do with the specific light bulb and the position of the AC power signal when the switch is flipped. At any rate, I'm slowly replacing my switches in my house to be LED compatible.

Works with LED bulbs
Have you ever looked at Home Depot and lowes at the specifications on dimmer switches? Most are not capable with led, compact fluorescent or standard bulbs. You will need to look at the list of led bulbs that will work with this switch. Also you can make adjustments to get rid of the flicker.

Universal Toggle switch, very good product
September 03-2018 (Labour Day) Mike here, from Bourget, Ontario Canada Be advised, before I purchased this item, I FIRST telephone tech support at Leviton. Made absolutely sure this is what I REQUIRED to do 'the job'. One thing I was advised/cautioned about ... when using LED lights, the glow in the dark feature, if it the LED lights continues to glow (small amount of electricity always passing through), when the switch is in the "OFF" position; then you will need to turn the light time glow at the switch to the "OFF" position. And ... this is what happened, so I turned the glow in the dark feature at the switch to the "OFF" position. Other than that ... I couldn't be happier with the way this switch ... allows you to select your LED lights from a very soft light all the way to the highest bright when you switch the toggle switch from the "OFF" position to the "ON" position. The other 'feature', Leviton warranties this switch for 5 years! Mike

Perfect!
Had trouble finding a almond colour dimmer switch for our dining room. This was the perfect colour and my husband had no problems installing it. The little dimmer bar on the side works great. So happy that I now can dim my dining room lights.

This dimmer installs with older flip lights and you don’t have to replace the switchplate . It’s easy, and fits easily . It’s perfect.
