Good, as expected
Although I personally do not need the tamper resistant plugs, when I was young, this would’ve taken all the fun out of pushing stuff in the outlet! (I could tell you stories that would make your hair stand on end) I managed to survive. However, these outlets work as expected, I’m satisfied.

Great value for price and easy to install
Installation is an absolute breeze. I installed in less than 10 minutes and it is working as expected. Amazing value for the price. Make sure to check the amps on your old outlet before deciding between 15 and 20A. This is found in the outlet or on the breaker, it will say 15 or 20. Do NOT install a 20A outlet on a 15A connection. They must match. You must ensure the outlet you're working on has its power shut off. Test this by plugging in a lamp and then turning off the breaker. If the lamp goes out and doesn't work when you plug it into both sockets, you are good to go. Quick install notes: When you tighten up the screws for the wires they will cause the wire to twist into the screw to make a secure connection. Double check that none of the leads are touching each other and then plug in a lamp, then go and turn the power on. If the lamp turns on without flickering or any weird sound, congrats! You successfully installed the outlet. Push the outlet into place , watching where the wires go and screw into the box using the two screws on the top and bottom. Make sure they are equally tightened and then attach your outlet cover.

The best outlets
We've replaced all of the outlets in our last 2 houses with these and they work great. Don't worry about having to put child locks on your outlets, just get these. I tested one by trying to shove my pocket knife into it as hard as I could. It wasn't installed in the wall or connected to wires obviously. I cut halfway through the plastic stopper eventually but it didn't snap and wouldn't let me "plug" just one side into it like a kid with a fork would be doing. The only problem is that some appliances have plugs that aren't exactly the same length. You'll learn those and find the angle you have to go at to get them to plug in.

Simple outlet but a life saver
I'm very pleased with this purchase. Found them on a sale at Amazon cheaper than what a contractor gets at Home Depot. Bought 10 as I needed a few to replace some old receptacles that were getting to the point of dangerous as they would hardly hold a plug. I like that these have a safety plastic in the outlet slots to little tikes can't just push something in them & get shot across the room (if they're lucky). These receptacles have connections for the basic push-entry on the back where you simply push the wire into the outlet for power (see pics) & they have the screw connections on the side for wrap around wiring which is more secure. I prefer the side screw method as I've experienced (years ago) intermittent power or simply no power when using the push-entry method on the back. Perhaps they've gotten better but I've found the side screw never lets me down. I was about to give a description of how to replace these but I have realized, if you don't know what you are doing or are uncomfortable with electricity (especially when your this close to it), please don't attempt it yourself. Ask someone who has more experience with electrical outlets & electricity to assist you.

What do you need to know? It works great
Nothing much to say. I took out my old one because plugs were falling out of it. This one is just as good as any other outlet as far as I can see.

Leviton Duplex Recepticle
These were a very good value. They are not heavy duty so I rated at 3 star, but they are very inexpensive. For the application I am doing installing two LED light fixtures they are a great fit. I gave them a 4 star for ease of installation. These require you to curve the wiring around the screw and are not equipped with a plate to tighten which is easier. They are equipped with the pinch grip for 14 awg only but I don't trust that type fitting. Overall these worked very well for my project.
