Does the job, but color doesn't match, missing retaining screw nut
I ordered two of these in white. I replaced the old sockets with these, and after putting on the white cover plates, I saw that the receptacle plastic had a ivory/yellowish color, compared with the surrounding white-white plate. So, these are the only two sockets in the house where the color of the sockets doesn't match the color of the plates, even though both are "white." Each of the sockets was missing one of the two square non-metallic nuts on the retaining screws, so I scavenged them from the old sockets. Note that these sockets only have the side screw terminals, and do not have the push-in/quick-release connections on the back. I didn't mind this, because the push-in connections are not as good (and are even "not to code" in some regions), but it's something to be aware of.

Perfect, no-frills replacement - just have needle-nosed pliers handy.
I had a GFCI receptacle (already on a GFCI-protected circuit) which was false-tripping. Somehow, many years back, the installer never realized there was already a GFCI breaker in the service panel, so they also (unnecessarily) added GFCI receptacles. So, already having the entire run of the circuit protected, I simply removed the defective GFCI receptacle, and replaced it with this. It works like a charm - it retains in the (somewhat loose and poorly-mounted) gang box nicely, and doesn't wobble around. The plugs retain with a good tightness, but not so much so as to loosen it over time. It came up with no errors on my diagnostic outlet tester, either, and instantly tripped the GFCI circuit breaker it was on when hitting the test button (on the tester, of course). When installing (and especially if using 12-gauge wiring [as was true in my case and is NOT a code violation]), note you will likely need some needle-nosed pliers in order to tightly wrap the wire around the terminal screws. There is a handy little "strip gauge" marker on the back of the receptacle to indicate the proper length. Then, the wires must be bent around and secured under the side screws (it may be a bit tricky at first to ensure no wire is loose or "protruding" from under the terminal screws), but once properly tightened, it seems to make an excellent connection. Oh, and one last thing... Do not use non-GFCI receptacles (such as this one) on ungrounded wiring, or in an area where GFCI protection is required and no GFCI protection is already present (as I already had due to the GFCI breaker).

Good, self grounded outlet, however does not have upgraded screw plate hooks for straight insertion.
So I've used leviton outlets pretty recently, I needed three more for my living room. I ordered on Amazon. What I got did appear to be leviton but they didn't have the same upgraded fingers on the side plates that allows you to use a straight stab-like copper connection. You had to curl the copper wire ends over the screws like older installations. Newer Levitons have what I call a "faux stab" feature, you strip the wire insulation off but keep the wire perfectly straight, then both sides of all of the plates behind each screw have very small finger-like hooks that can grip the round bare wire surface and hold against the outlet body, so you don't need to curl the wire and the installation and reinstall is much easier! These didn't have them, so I assume these are an older revision. Still had UL listing logo and in all other regards appeared to be genuine leviton products. I had recently installed a lot of outlets around the house and was used to using the new leviton feature, so having to go back to the old way meant an additional 4 minutes on each outlet but it wasn't the end of the world. These outlets came in individually sealed bags (no boxes) with the two long, top and bottom, screws. Both screws where philips not slotted (which was really nice). All outlets worked fine after install.

Received Mismatched, but it is OK
Ordered 2 15a's. Got mismatched 20a and 15a. It seems like Amazon did an oopsie at the warehouse. At least I can still use these devices as is. Both receptacles are going to be put behind Taymac(R) Masque(TM) wall plates for this project, so it doesn't matter. Because hey, it's no big deal, right? LEFT: 20 amp, RIGHT: 15 amp. PRODUCT REVIEW: These devices are well made by Leviton in the USA and deliver quality performance. SPH recommends this product.

Well Made Receptacle
I recommend buying this receptacle. There are no push-in-terminals on these duplex receptacles but the screw terminal is a more reliable terminal.

Good Quality
Bought this to replace a cheap older receptacle. This one is much better quality than the lower priced budget receptacles.

Spec grade, much better than run-of-the-mill cheap receptacles
(this review refers to ivory version, though I think all that are shown on the page are the same except for color) These are "specification (spec) grade" receptacles, CSA listed and made in USA. They are much better quality than the cheap receptacles that are typically used for residential applications (I regard such receptacle as house-burners and won't use them, even though they are CSA listed). Spec grade receptacles will maintain contact force, which is important to safe low-resistance connections that don't heat up, for many many more plug insertion cycles than the cheap receptacles. Note the brass piece under one mounting screw. This will make a good ground connection that is redundant to the normal wired ground connection. The connection screws are usable with a straight blade, Philips or square ("Robertson" - the Only True and Proper drive) drivers. Unlike some screw heads made this way, the square socket hasn't been compromised so badly as to be nearly useless. The only thing I don't like about these is that there are rather sharp burrs on the edges of the stamped steel bracket. This is of no consequence once they are installed.
