Fantastic contrast and useful in the Arabian desert sun

Easy to snap in, authentic Oakley product. Prizm is alright, but these classic HD optics model lenses Oakley had for years are so good - they should never had stopped making them. If you are a huge fan of the old Tungsten Iridium and the 24k Iridium lenses, buy these now. $90 or less is very fair and they are discontinued, so what you can find is all there is left. Works great in the brutal Kuwait sunlight and 124 *F days of June-October (its 117 now and halfway thru May 2023) but not so dark that they can't also be used on dark, overcast days or in the evening while the sun is setting.

Legit!

These things are amazing. I play golf, these things contrast the course so everything is amazingly vivid and easy to see. I was finding golf balls that I would usually lose in bushes. The only thing is, and I believe it was mentioned before, I played in overcast weather when I got these, they might be a little too light in full sun. Might have to get the golf dark prism.

Please research the lenses before ordering

The version I have is the Holbrook Matte Black with the standard lenses that came on the glasses in the store, which are dark tinted black sunglasses lenses. This was before Prizm became the standard, and personally I prefer them much more than todays version. The reason I gave 3 stars isnt a quality defect, the lenses are Oakley official prizm tech and they work very very well. My issue is with the colors available, because I first ordered Black Iridium Prizm which isnt actually black, its a chrome silver. So I returned them and ordered the Grey Prizm Polarized, which are so lightly tinted you can see my eyes through the lenses even in a darker living room and in direct daylight look completely see through. Again, the Prizm tech works very very well and the polarized version does too (although polarized makes everything very very matte, cars look completely different no shine on anything). I would honestly love to get the original standard black lenses without the prizm tech that came with my glasses standard, the base level lenses. That apparently isnt possible without buying the entire pair of sunglasses again, which is really frustrating considering replacement lenses start at $70 to $115 and the glasses start around $120. TLDR: Having to order and return 3 separate sets of lenses because they arent the same as described in person is why I've given 3/5 stars even with the lenses working correctly

Great lenses!

These lenses were just what I was looking for. They're OEM Oakley lenses. The original lenses (gold'ish color; Prizm Polarized) made everything look yellow while looking through them, so I didn't wear the sunglasses very often. Then I found out how easy it was to swap the lenses. Wanted lenses that not only matched the frames (Holbrook Mixed - plastic around the lenses with metal arms - root-beer/brown in color) but also didn't change the color of what I was seeing through the lenses - just make everything darker (obviously). These lenses fit the bill! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to change the look of their Holbrook sunglasses.

Looks EXACTLY the same. Easy to install and lasts forever!

My boyfriend is extremely careless when it comes to his sunglasses. I would find them on the floor in his car or under a pile of papers and over time they became super scratched up. He kept talking about wanting to buy a new pair of sunglasses but had mentioned that he would want to get the same exact pair since he liked them so much. By luck, he thought about looking on Amazon for replacement lens and found them! He was able to pop the old ones out and put the new ones in in about two minutes. They are great quality and look EXACTLY the same. Same tint and everything. He has had them for about 5 months now and they are still holding up and have not been causing any trouble. He already has mentioned that he’s happy he found this great product so that when it gets scratched again he already knows where to get a replacement. It already looks like we will be ordering another replacement lens soon!

Perfect fit, perfect lens color for all seasons

I really like these lenses. They gather light and are perfect on a cloudy, or sunny day. Easy to pop in. They do seem to enhance green making the grass look fantastic everywhere :)

Great value

I've had my Holbrooks since 2014. The original lenses became too scratched over the years, but the frame was still in perfect shape. I ordered black polarized replacement lenses. Very easy to swap (followed youtube video instructions). Lenses are great. They do have some rainbow artifact type of effects when looking at LCD screens or other polarized windows, but I think any polarized lenses will have that. Everything else is perfect and for the price (about $50 Canadian), I think its well worth it.

Look like the real thing

Bought as a present for my boyfriend. We weren't entirely convinced that they are the genuine lens. Box wasn't sealed when it arrived and the lens feels slightly thicker than the original but they look as good and delivery was fast.

Pretty sure these are fake

Order the chrome iridium polarized and they are either fake or made poorly. Like you are looking in a mirror. Had the same lenses on the the glasses I bought originally and this wasn’t the case. Would have returned if it hadn’t been a year and still had the packaging. Disappointing to say the least as I bought some for my dad as well. Make sure you check yours out thoroughly when you receive them!
