Fantastic solution if you are changing a switched outlet
Sometimes you wish you could give a product six stars out of five! This is one of the best products I have bought in a long time. I suppose you could use this to replace a single electrical outlet to add a night light, but I’m not sure why when you could just plug in a small nightlight instead which would be cheaper, easier, and still leaves you with a usable outlet. I used this for something different that I expect a lot of other people used it for - I had an outlet controlled by a wall switch that I wanted to be always on. I could have just left that switch always up, or use a small cap over it, but that had problems (people turning it off anyway then you have to figure out why and I had an alarm clock on the outlet so that would cause it to reset and I had to re-program it). A much better solution was to remove the switch and connect both hot (black) wires together in the switch box so it was always on. The problem? From my pictures you can see I have two switches on the wall and I need the other one to switch my ceiling lights. You can buy a two-gang wall plate that has one side solid and a toggle switch opening on the other but it looks really weird since it is off center. I saw even weirder options to center the single switch in the two-gang wall box and have a centered toggle opening but those look weird too and are expensive since they aren’t at all common. Enter this product! Not only does it solve tue problem of what to do with the now open left side of my two-gang box, it adds a nightlight as well! And a really flexible nightlight - I have it on the lowest brightness in the picture and it is perfect. The sensor turns it on only and night and off in the daytime. It has more brightness settings to go brighter, and if you want even darker it has plastic louvers to cover it. The install is easy too but first make sure your box has a neutral wire (white wire) that wasn’t used on the switch but connected just behind it. Any house with modern wiring should have this. You remove your switch, connect the black and white wires and bare copper grounding wire (sometimes green). Since this has a “decora” style I had to get a two-gang face plate with that on one side and toggle switch opening on the other. That took some digging at the big box hardware store but they had some and were only a little more than a regular plate. Another bonus is you don’t have to take the plate off to change the brightness just push the light to toggle through them. You can also adjust the sensitivity for auto on/off. If you are changing a switched outlet to always on and don’t want to remove the wall box or have a two or more gang box, I highly recommend this! It is the easiest, best looking, functional option.

I love these. Very useful. I use them with the louvers to avoid being blinded at night. Currently 5 in use with a 6th to go in soon.

Great solution for empty wall switches
This is a great solution for nighttime but also as a filler in a multiple gang switch. I removed a ceiling fan but the result was that now I had an empty decora switch in my three gang electrical wall box. With this, Instead of having an unused switch or having a blank plate I was able to modernize the look and make use of the empty switch space. I have bought 2 more for other locating in the house and would definitely buy again if needed.

Not quite ready for prime time yet.....
So, I really want to love these lights...But unfortunately, I can't. We purchased eight of them to install in one of our clients' new houses (it's a monster custom house, brand new, 1.8 million or so). I've had two separate crews working on these lights to get them glitch free....and after multiple attempts, I've given up and had to purchase some cheap Chinese LED lights to replace these. The problem? The cover plates interfere with the push controls/ sensor system. We originally installed these with Pass & Seymour (Legrand) standard single gang white Decora plates. At which time my guys noted that if you screw down the plates too hard, it messes up the push sensor and causes the lights to flicker/ activate. So, we loosened up the plates. But still no joy. The stock image for this fixture shows a screwless type of plate in the image. So, we thought that might be the issue (plus the screwless Decora plate looks much better cosmetically). Special ordered the plates, sent a tech up north to replace and upgrade them, but that only made the issue worse. So, then I sent my guy to Depot to get a white metal Decora plate thinking that might be the solution. But my clients just called and let me know, same issue as before. Translation: Pass & Seymour Legrand needs to go back to the drawing board and fix this engineering fail/ glitch. Bummer :^)

Great light!
I just replaced old nightlights with this product. I am very happy that they are much brighter and like that they are adjustable with several brightness options. The optional louvre plate is also nice. Great product. I highly recommend them!

Soft amber light good for kids
Not distracting as a white LED so the child is not drawn to it at night very slick looking and the operation of the light levels is very smart. Has additional rear push in quick connects for wiring in series which came in handy as the old outlet had three pairs of wires. I also have the leviton one for bathroom, does not look as nice as this one, these aren't GFCI but I didn't need it.

Works well
Our old bedroom ceiling fan had separate fan and light switches so when we replaced it with one that came with a combined switch we were left with an extra opening in the switch panel. This was an easy solution and allowed us to remove the old plug in night light. Only criticism is that it would be nice if the lowest setting was a bit dimmer but we have got used to it.

Pre-opened box and missing horizontal louver!
Hate when this happens! *** Update 01/17. Got ahold of amazon and they sent me a replacement only to find out to get the same problem...Open box and horizontal Louver missing again! Really sucks going to order from somewhere else. In terms of the actual quality of the product it's 5/5. I'm installing it in my stairs and it looks amazing.

You can have 5 brightness settings. they do remember when power off/on.. a quality light. Good for permanent nightlight or stair lights.. they turn off in day unless your stairs are a bit dark.. some stay on all the time for me,,
