Lets the cord go in the direction you need it to

This inexpensive product is a problem solver. For 15A it's pretty heavy duty beyond the power rating. I wish the internal screws let you hook the wire around the screw posts for better contact rather than just straight down to be clamped. But the strain relief clamp should hold everything in place so just be sure to torque the screws pretty tight (don't overdue of course) to maximize contact / electrical efficiency.

It appears to work well although it is a little tight with a new replaced receptacle

This was bought for another project for an extension cord repair. It is a little difficult to insert the wires as they need to have the same length into the screw clamp holder. But once it is together it feels really stable tight and secure.

Great quality, easy to install.

Exactly what I needed to change a regular plug to a flat side connection. I like that you can decide where you want the cord, top, bottom, right or left side or at an angle.

Good quality with options on orientation

Nave now purchased twice to use on electrified roller shades. Very secure clamp on cord and love fact can orient the plug in which ever direction best meets needs.

Well built product.

Bought a few options, this one was by far the best quality. Terminals to pinch the wire instead of just a lug to wrap around like most other cheapo versions. Excellent.

I needed a heavy duty plug for a compressor and already having used these plugs then it was a no-brainer....buy what you know works.

Well engineered, easy to install. What I didn't realise is that you can set the angle in six different positions. When you take it apart you'll see how to do that.
