Cute fits as expected, super short

I wear a large shirt and size 10-12 pants. I'm 5'7" and my bra size is 40 G. I found the dress to be form fitting but a little small in the bust (which i didn't think would be the case bc of the other reviews talking about how loose it was) however it zips up all the way and I'm not popping out over the neckline. The arm holes (I guess they would be called?) are small but I have very heavy arms and it's comfortable when they're pulled up as high or slightly higher than the picture shows. It isn't overly revealing except for it's length. It's ridiculously short and even with a longer petticoat it's really, really short. I bought it to wear to work, I'm a nurse in a kids residential center and they get a kick out of staff dressing up. It's not a very labor intensive job, no turning or lifting or bathing or anything, more like a school nurse amount of activity. I was planning on wearing some shorts over stockings or thick tights with it because I do kneel and squat a lot but I think it will be too suggestive. It's currently hanging in my closet while I try to think of ways to offset the length. Otherwise the hat is cool, it's on a headband so it seems easily tolerated. I like the collar it has a velcro closure. My neck isn't really long so the width fits me from collar bone almost to chin but still comfy enough. 1 more thing, a button popped off when I tried it on. It's a better quality than a lot of costumes but it's still costume quality.

LOVE IT!!

The medium fits me perfect - I am 5'4" and weigh 115 pounds. It is SUPER comfortable and the quality is much better than most costumes in this price range (the fabric is breathable, soft, lightweight and not constricting like a lot of other costumes. It is well-made have seen quite a few reviews about disappointed people regarding a petticoat, so just to clarify, the listing states that this costume is 3 pieces - dress, collar and headpiece - it does not specify that it comes with the petticoat or has one attached (usually costumes state if they come with one). Also, you WILL want to buy a petticoat (I bought one here on AMAZON for 12.00, which is an excellent price for a petticoat). It does look cute either way, but it is much more flattering with one. The ruffle neck piece is slightly big, but a small piece of velcro taking it in a little bit works perfectly. The hat is adorable as well - just be sure to get it out of the package and keep it stretched out so it isn't folded. The costume does not come with stockings or tights so if you are bashful at all like me or do not like the world to see your lady bits, then I recommend wearing shorts / leggings / tights / ruffle tanga shorts to keep from having an embarrassing wardrobe catastrophe. Leg Avenue costumes (and other "sexy" listed costumes) are shorter than the average ones on the market - do not be surprised that it barely hits the middle of your thighs (or higher for the taller gals). Overall, I love this costume and would recommend it to anyone and everyone who is on the fence about ordering one. Leg avenue costumes are so fun and the best quality for the price - I have dozens of them and will continue to ONLY buy this brand. This costume is awesome - I really hope this helps someone out there :-)

Overall, a very nice costume!

It has a couple of down sides, as you would expect with most costumes at this price. I'm 5'4" 125 lbs and I got the medium. The fabric is kinda stretchy and just barely form fits me so I think I could have gone with a small. And it is loose around the chest. Not so much that your boobs are hanging out, but a tighter fit would be more attractive. The suspender straps are also extra super loose from the dress, so I plan on pinning those down with a couple of pins that go with the costume. I didn't have a problem with the arm bands being tight, but someone just a little heavier might, since they fit about perfect to the skin on me. I don't like the hat, but I plan on having color hairsprayed pig tails anyway so no loss to me. The neck peace is way ridiculous loose! I was planning to wear a black collar with it anyway, so again no loss, but I plan on repurosing the neck peace as writst cuffs with just a little cutting and sewing. I usually plan on making minor adjustments to fit me the way I like with every costume I've bought, so this ones no different and has an overall good quality considering what it is you're buying. I really like the sleek feel of the fabric around the waiste! So that's a plus. Also, for buying keep in mind that this dress does NOT come with a petticoat. I'm using a black petticoat that I got with a different costume last year and it looks good together. I don't reccommend wearing this costume without one, since it adds needed length and volume to the dress.

Me quedo perfecto, es decir, el tamano corre normal. Sin embargo, recomiendo comprarle la faldita "tutu" de abajo roja pq la falda no tiene ningun vuelo. No trae las medias asi que tambien debes comprarlas. La unica critica es que como no tiene estas dos cositas terminas gastando en el disfraz mucho dinero para poder tenerlo completo. Pero queda bello!

Good quality but not fully like the picture

Loved this costume for a dance and will be keeping it in my performance trunk. Good quality and the only issue is that they don’t show pictures with what IS included. There are no layers of flounce or tulle. No gloves or leggings. Including these in the picture makes a customer believe that they are included. Other that that I love it.

Not as shown in picture. Beware!

I was not happy because the picture is deceiving you think it has a tutu but it does not bring one. After receiving it I actually had to buy an additional two to just to get that look. The quality feels good but it really upsets me that I had to spend extra money just to get the look that’s on the picture.
