Almost perfect...

The rise is slightly high for me but these are a petite short length, and mid-rise just don't really work on my body. I can live with this, and the tiny bit of extra inseam length can be fixed. However, these pants fit me better than any other jeans I've tried but... and it's a big BUT - somehow I missed the fact that there are NO BACK POCKETS on these jeans. As I don't usually carry a purse, I rely on my back pocket to hold my wallet/money/receipts - kind of my "mobile filing system" - so I might need to save these for occasions where I use a bag. I really like the fact that the front pockets are roomy - easily fit my iPhone, but it really doesn't solve my issue. Guess I'll keep looking for the elusive "perfect jeans"!

Did Sizing and Length Change For Petite?

Pants are comfortable. Based the purchase size on previous pair. Selected same size. Current pair too big, length used to be around 26 inches. Why now 28 inches? Petite has a criteria, still at 5'3" as far as I know, why 2 extra inches in length? I didn't receive a memo about the change. Needed pants altered and shortened. What was the point? Good price? Not after having to pay extra for tailoring.

Love these Lee jeans

I am an old-fashioned girl who's been wearing these Jeans for years. Love 'em. They hold up under the toughest conditions, wash after wash. THANK YOU FOR CARRYING THEM.

Never buying jeans online again

This is the second pair of jeans I've needed to return in two days. (the other one was a different brand and was returned for reasons other than the ones for this one). For me, these are one-star, but for others they could be five-star so I'm going midway with three-stars. My first negative was when I pulled the jeans out of the plastic bag. Strong odor hit me in the nose. It seemed to be chemical in nature. I figured that would wash out, though. Then I tried to unbutton them so I could try them on. It's crazy how hard it was to get the button out of the button hole. REALLY difficult. But I did manage to unbutton them and put them on, though that too was a struggle. I ordered my size, but these were definitely too small. Returning them became my only sensible option. When getting them ready to put them back in the bag, I had to deal with the dreaded button again -- this time to fasten it. Another BIG struggle. I almost gave up, but did finally get the button through the button hole. I will say a few things in the jeans' favor: the denim and workmanship seemed to be quite good (except for the button hole), and the petite 28" inseam really was the length claimed.

Did not fit at all

This was purchased for a petite, older woman. The pants were way too long. She's had to hem petite pants before, but this was way more than a simple hem. The crotch hung too low even when she pulled the pants up high. Did not fit at all. They were returned.

I will wear them but not as nice a fit as other brand Jeans i've ordered .

These jeans were average i'll wear them around the house to go food shopping but would not wear them too many other places I've had better fitting jeans I will pay the extra few bucks next time and order the last brand I ordered before this one i wanted relaxed not baggy legged which is how these feel .

I like them but be aware that Short Petite may no longer be 26.5"

I ordered two pairs of 18 and at the time I ordered, it said that Short Petite: 26.5" on both of the main page and the page for that size. Now, if you select any of the short petites they say the length is 28 inches. This means they are the same length as the Petite. I checked Lee's website and they don't seem to carry Short Petite any longer. I think I may have gotten the last two pairs because both of mine were shorter. Style wise these are similar to the comfort waist style sold by LL Bean. The main difference is that those don't have spandex in them which is fine for the fit but these Lee's are hotter in the summer because they aren't 100% cotton. Material is smooth and little bit thinner than I am used to so not sure how long these will last. They don't have back pockets so you will need to use the front pocket for phones etc. My version had reasonably deep pockets but I don't know if this year's style does. Fit seemed as expected mostly. Comfortable except on hot days. I have only worn twice so I haven't washed them. I don't think I would try putting them in the dryer though. I wished they had the darker color in 18 Petite Short.

Very roomy

These jeans are wonderful. The black is a true black. I ordered a 12P. I debated betwen a 12P and a 10P because my size on the chart is in-between. The are not so big that I want to return them, but next time, I will definitely order the smaller size.

fits large

i like the elastic on the side of the jeans but because they are relaxed they fit large should have ordered 14 petite. had to take them in on the side. would also have been nice if the had more spandex.
