I will update in a few months to let you know how it does… but I like it now. I was looking for something to easily maintain indoor plants for good drainage and really wanted a high container in my dining room corner. I researched many different kind of potting systems and this one seemed best for me to appearance, value, and concept for caring for my palm. Like another reviewer mentioned, I watched the video a few times along with the picture guided directions which really helped. If Inhad only looked at directions included inside the packaging I can see why difficult to follow. As the video suggests, water normally for a few months then use the designated watering corner to water until the guided water level shown in picture and seems would significantly reduce the requirements for watering my palm indoors- supposedly up to only every few months but you have the visual to guide you. I think the price on Amazon is very reasonable for the appearance and product. You can go and pay significant more money for similar appearing outer container without the scientific supportive care included with this product. Pay attention the the size of the pot on description as it is accurate. I elevated mine on another Amazon bamboo adjustable planter holder since Inwanted it even higher.

Gorgeous Planters

These are so pretty! I placed two on my front porch, and filled them with spring flowers. The instructions to assemble the top basket were easy enough, though it's all pictures and no written words. I'm unsure what the included rock was for, but I dumped it in anyways. Because they're tall, and all the weight is at the top, I added half a bag of plain drainage stone to the bottom of each one. I'm hoping this is enough to prevent it from toppling over - if they fall, they will definitely break. I'm super happy with them though, and I hope they hold up over the seasons. I also hope the self-watering works lol. They're gorgeous regardless.

Very nice looking and functional planter

This is a great looking planter that seems very functional. It comes with a float, a water basin at the bottom of the planter and rocks to keep the water free at the bottom. I am very happy with the purchase. One think to note though is that you will have to assemble using the pictures only. There is no instructions in English. The pictures seemed clear enough to me though to follow and get the planter assembled.

Good planter but not enough useable space

of the 22" height only 9" are useable for the indoor planter if you want to use the self watering system. many shrubs come in a 10 gallon pot which means shaving off 2 inches from the potted plant. a big mess but the final result is nice. the planter works great and i don't over water my plants anymore

Love this but it’s expensive!

It’s great but I do feels it’s a bit pricey. It looks elegant and it’s nice knowing your plants or flowers will be okay if not watered for a while. I rarely have to refill the water.

Lovely but I’d recommend for outdoor to get full use out of them

Lovely looking pot, handy you can lift plant in and out easily if needed... however... I think it’s a bit pointless to use these inside... The reason being is... they suggest keeping the plug attached in both the insert and the base. The base I get as you don’t want water pouring everywhere... but then surely if you keep the inner plug in there will be no water in the base in the first place for the water to escape! So may as well have a smaller pot without all that extra pot at the bottom and save money if using indoors. I have some for outdoor use and they are great.

Makes a statement - love it

I wanted a tall statement plant but blanched at the prices in my local garden centre (about £150 for the height I wanted). Instead I bought this and paid £30 for the Areca palm and I love it. What’s more the self watering feature is fantastic (I have other Lechuza pots)

Came without indicator

Lovely planter, well designed. It’s sturdy and with the coster easy to roll around for cleaning or repositioning. For the price the coster should be included though. There was no indicator in the package which means over/under-watering remains and issue. I can’t seem to find a contact for the company. Stars deducted for missing item and having to by the coaster separate. Update: I bought a second one of these that came with all parts complete but up to now no contact to rectify the first one by sending missing parts.

Brilliant design - definitely getting more of Lechuza

This is the third planter I buy from this brand, they are brilliant. The price tag is high - especially for someone like me who is far from being a "keen gardener" - but the watering and oxygenating system of Lechuza makes an INCREDIBLE difference. That means that my plants don't die, for the first time of my life! Last summer I bought 2 Lechuza Classico to try and I am totally addicted, so I reordered this spring. This time I am planting 3 climbers in 3 Cubico 30 cm in Smooth white and putting them on my terrasse. I am also getting 2 more Classico 28cm in Smooth White. The design is sharp and discret and the quality of the plastic (inside and out) is very good, sturdy and the look understated. It doesn't distract from the beauty of the plants. All in all, I think it is very much worth the money.

Completely in love with my Lechuza Cubico 40s

I absolutely love these Lechuza Cubico 40 plant pots. They were so well packaged and were easy to assemble too. I bought 4 for my garden and they look amazing. I did think they were a little expensive compared to other pots but they are such high quality and the fact that you only have to water your plants every 12 weeks after they have bedded in is what attracted me to them in the first place, so I thought the higher price was well worth paying. I would highly recommend this product and will definitely be ordering some more in the future.
