Kids will love

Over all it’s alright. We paired it with a Dr coat for our son’s 4th bday where his 1 year old sis loved too. Honestly case, glasses, & phone is the best part. It is very cute and a lot of items but first use the stethoscope button gets stuck & only works occasionally. Blood pressure cuff’s Velcro immediately pulled off & stayed attached to opposing Velcro piece. Frustrating for price but our kids will use their imagination and we’ll likely get a different dr kit for sharing purposes to go with this case.

Doctor's Kit for 4 year old

This was a gift for my granddaughter who recently spent time in the hospital. She likes to use the many instruments in the kit to check her patients. She especially likes the stethoscope and blood pressure cuff. My 2 complaints with this kit is the bulb on the blood pressure cuff tends to collapse and as stated in other reviews I read the stethoscope makes a coughing sound which is unrealistic before it makes a beating sound. Despite these 2 complaints, my granddaughter still likes to use these instruments. I read in some reviews that the telephone was loud and annoying but I didn't find that to be true.

Learning Resource Toys are Great

Child thought the dr kit was really cool and immediately wanted to be a Doctor. It's so neat to watch a kid use their imagination. Toys are quite durable and they come in a carrying case.

All the bells and whistles but doesn't feel sturdy

This set is great for the box and just how many cool pieces are included. The heart beat stethoscope especially. But a lot of the pieces don't feel very durable/sturdy. For the price I thought they'd feel a little more solid. Don't get me wrong daughter loves it, and I think it well last for a decent while, I just feel like it's going to need replaced eventually. And I had hoped to feel like it would never need replaced.

Worth the pretend game a child plays

My 3 year old granddaughter loves to play pretend doctor with this kit and I’m the patient! Very realistic to a child! She had this at her daycare which lead me to buy it as a gift for her at home!

Sturdy, with lots of parts, but has some issues--updated

I looked at many doctor sets before settling on this one. In a nutshell, I'm not entirely happy with it, but my daughter and her friends love it. So it gets 3 stars. Things my daughter likes: * The glasses (I have no idea why, but having "doctor glasses" is a huge hit with her and other three year olds) * The cough and heartbeat noises that the stethoscope makes * The "doctor telephone" * There are lots of parts with lots of options and nothing is too complicated to use. They seem to particularly like the bp cuff, the scalpel, the scissors, the clamp, the bandages, and the eye thing. Things I like: * Most of the items seem relatively sturdy (except the bp cuff--more on that below) * There is a wide variety of items, including many not found in other doctor's kits (scalpel, scissors, clamps, bandages) * The plastic bandages are brilliant--perfectly sized for stuffed animal limbs * It has a case, which keeps it contained and lets her tote it around * My daughter and her friends like it and play with it Things I don't like: * While I don't worry about the pieces breaking, they are not particularly well made/molded * The case is very difficult to open/close and the latches are losing their function over time. * There are some aspects of the way the toy functions that are not ideal. The thermometer has a rotating dial to change the read out (which is cool) but the readings are kind of nonsense (why not just red yellow and green?) The BP cuff has only a tiny dot of velcro, which makes it very difficult to fasten. * The BP cuff is one of the kids' favorites, but it is not long for this world. The velcro dot has fallen off, which means that it must be held shut (not a huge deal--they couldn't really close it before), and the squeeze ball is made of very thin plastic, which is not going to hold up to three year old love. * There are three parts of this kit that make noise. My daughter and her friends love all of them. I hate them so much. I hate the heartbeat/cough noise from the stethoscope that my daughter loves so much. I hate the beeper. My daughter doesn't even know that the cell phone could make noise, because it was the worst of the lot and I took the batteries out of it before giving it to her. I don't know why this has to make noise. * Cranky point: the sticker on the front of the case showed a boy playing with the kit, rather than the cross shown in the picture. I would have preferred the cross. All of that said, she loves this kit. So I'm not going to be replacing it any time soon. And I didn't uncover anything that I would have preferred. I just wish that someone made a higher-quality set that I would love as much as she does. ETA: Over a year later. This kit is still a huge hit with the kids. Most parts of the kit are still in very good shape. Surprisingly, the latches on the case are still with us. They are still bad at their job, but they haven't broken yet. I wish the kids could operate the latches themselves. As expected, the BP cuff fell apart soon after my previous review. Fortunately, the kids haven't missed it.

Great Toy Doctor Kit

I bought this for my 5 year old who's dream is to be a doctor someday. My 5 year old, and I love this kit because it comes with SO much, and it is well worth the money. The only downside to this kit is that the blood pressure monitor broke after like 2 days of playing. I could understand it breaking if my 5 year old were being rough with it, but that wasn't the case. It literally just fell apart. Overall it's not a huge deal because it does come with a lot of other stuff, and it still is worth the money for any little budding doctor.

A lot of fun for the little ones

Updated: I initially wrote a review indicating that I wasn't happy with this product, but after seeing how much my niece loved this toy and playing with it along with her, I have completely changed my mind about it. I am impressed with the sounds the stethoscope and cell phone make and she couldn't be happier with it. Although the toys don't necessarily look exactly like the actual doctor's tools, they are perfect for a small child who can't tell the difference anyway and who appreciates the bright colors and lack of sharp edges. Additionally, it has in fact kept her entertained for countless hours. My opinion was already changed prior to the manufacturer reaching out about my complaints, but it was nice that they took the time to do that as well. Previous review: This is a decent toy for really young kids who don't know any better. Unfortunately, all of the tools aren't very well-made and it's honestly difficult to tell what each is supposed to be. They really don't look anything like the actual tools that a doctor would use. Granddaughter Loves It.

I purchased this item as a gift for my 3 year old granddaughter. I was impressed with this medical kit as it included more items than many others I looked at and it did not disappoint in terms of quality. It was a big hit with my granddaughter who plays with it daily.

The doctors set of doctors sets!

This was purchased on the back of the last set we bought had a fraction of the contents that this set has but for about the same cost. Our 3 year old had endless fun with the previous set. When we bought this and it arrived we were happy with the packaging and delivery from amazon. The box opened and since then we've had hours and hours of fun! Our twin girls 18 month old also love getting involved as assistants. This is a perfect present for any child 3 upwards that is in any way interested in role play. Flashing pager, mini mobile, all the other items are just as you would want them. Great purchase. Only one down side, the box can be a bit difficult to open, even for adults! But after a short time there is a knack to it.

Good toy, shame about the quality

My grandchild just loved this toy but after playing with it for around 30 minutes the blood pressure monitor bulb split and the emergency bleep stopped working. I was really sad that although the toy was quite expensive the quality just wasn't there. However, I returned the toy and received a replacement and I can now say that after many, many hours of play none of the items have broken.

Perfect toy for kids

I bought this for my granddaughter and she loves it. The only problem is that the stethoscope stopped working after only very little usage. Is it possible to get a new one without having to send the whole thing back. Thanks
