I needed a new quilt for our cottage and this Laura Ashley quilt and shams fit the bill perfectly, and to top it off, I was able to get it at about half price as it was marked as "used". I don't think it was used, but likely a return to Amazon. It was brand new, but out of the regular packaging. It was in perfect condition, not a second, and came with the two shams it was supposed to have. What a deal! About the quilt itself, the green and simple pattern was exactly what I needed for the room. The quilt is very soft and comfortable. I have a confession - our guest bedroom has a day bed and I have the same pattern in that room. The cottage is small, so having the continuity of color really works well.

While beautiful, the picture is a lie. No where near floor length!

This quilt is absolutely beautiful; however, the photo of the product is a lie. It is no where near being floor length. My bed is a normal height and the quilt needs at least 6 inches all the way around to be floor length. I’m disappointed I have to return it.

Perfect beautiful bargain!

I had huge reservations about buying a returned item! I could not be happier that I got this — the quality is fabulous! There was nothing wrong with it whatsoever when it arrived I immediately washed it just because not because it looked dirty but just because and it’s a perfect fit! So comfortable and the perfect charm to my bird & herbal motif on vintage bed! I would buy refurbished again and in fact I look for refurbished items to buy from Amazon.

Beautiful Quilt Set!

I bought this blue quilt set in king size. I also bought the European sham set. It appears the reviews are shared between the two. This is a beautiful quilt set. The blue, at least on mine, is a grayish blue. I have zero gray in the bedroom and my walls are tan. My accent color in the room is dusty blue, and the quilt looks fabulous. It's well made, and a decent weight - perfect for summers in the South, and we just toss a plain white comforter on top in the winter. I washed in on gentle and dried in on low at a laundromat. I was nervous, based on a few other reviews, that it would shrink so much it wouldn't come down to the bottom of the 11.5" mattress, but I have almost 2" to spare on each side. (If you have a super tall mattress, this may be a concern ... might have to cheat on the side facing the wall.) I do think most quilt manufacturers these days assume you'll have a bed skirt. The Euro shams are very well made and have a great zipper (see photo). They are a bit boring, though. But LISTEN up: the Euro shams look great in the Amazon photo, but that bed is NOT a king - probably a Full. The 2 shams (filled) looked silly on our king size bed. We decided we'd either have to buy a third Euro sham and insert, or forget it. We decided to forget it, and I'm going to make a few toss pillows from the shams, so BEWARE if you have a king bed. The blue quilt set is calming to look at, and not too feminine that guys would dislike it. We're very happy with our new bedroom!

Beautiful and lightweight!

This coverlet is gorgeous. It looks expensive even though it wasn’t and it is just perfect in my airy, blue bedroom. I sized up from Queen to king to make sure there’s plenty of blanket to go around and add to the visual drama. This is maybe my favorite bedspread of all time!!! The color is light blue, but it is on the warm side. I wouldn’t exactly call it aqua; it’s blue, but it definitely has a slightly greenish undertone (which is exactly what I wanted and what reviews promised). The “white” is like an ivory color. Since it came with 2 king pillow shams, I used a K size pillow in one for the bed and the other I’m going to make into throw pillows for my bedroom seating area. ☺️ Happy buying!

Bought this for a Queen sized bed with a 17" mattress. I wanted to make sure there was enough drape. It is a beautiful aqua/blue with white/ivory colours. It is neither pure white nor is it a true ivory. I use it with a white eyelet dust ruffle and it looks just fine. I had to make the shams a bit smaller as I did not have king sized pillows but I knew that when I purchased and had no problem adjusting the length of them. Nice weight and beautifully made. The fabric has a soft hand to it, not cheap and scratchy. Would recommend.

Lovely quilt

Pretty quilt and generously sized for my king bed. I’m using it as a summer spread on my bed and it’s a perfect weight for that as I generally sleep fairly warm. Happy with quality as well.

This is not blue and white, it’s more blue and cream.

I love the quilt and design but the colour is more blue and cream than the expected blue and white. Still a gorgeous quilt but colour doesn’t suit. Would be gorgeous in blue and white.

Solid, well made quilt

Absolutely love how comfortable this quilt set feels. I was adamant that I wanted 100% cotton and I've been reminded why. This quilt is beautiful in color, well represented in the photo and a great length on our bed.

Beautiful and Comfortable

This quilt is more beautiful in real life than on the photo. It’s elegant, comfortable, light to make the bed but heavy enough for that cozy sleep. Love this so much!
