I have always loved Laura Ashley!

I have always loved Laura Ashley for decades and was so happy to find this duvet cover and sham just when I needed it! My sister is coming for a visit and I needed a duvet cover for a twin comforter. The lovely crocheted-look lace is what caught my eye as it is very feminine. I could not find another duvet cover with lace. I needed a light ivory shade but thought this would work even though it is white and it did. It is not a bright white but a soft cream shade so it worked out perfectly since my color for the guest room is light cream and beige shades. I also loved the ties in the corner of the duvet cover to keep the comforter from shifting. The only thing that I thought the company could have done better is use a higher and thicker grade of cotton which would not have wrinkled as much or be transparent. I could actually see my hand when I had it inside the duvet cover so you want to make sure that you only use a white comforter inside or else the colored comforter will show through. The price was very good but I would have paid quite a bit more for a crisper, heavier and silkier cotton. But all in all, I am very happy with the duvet cover and sham as they look very feminine with the lace and that is what I was looking for.

wrinkle wrinkle and more wrinkle

I like this duvet cover appearance but the color is off-white to me, I compared it to my other whites and it looks off. the wrinkle situation really bothers me, I have to iron it every time I am covering my bed, and the softness is not really there, it is not as expected. really will like to return it but it is too much trouble. I really wanted to like it : (

Worth it to buy it

I really love this duvet! The fabric and texture are just great. Yes, it wrinkle as hell, but I still like the quality. It came in a white color, but the embroidery in off-white.

Not as good as the name

I loved the look with the lace that's why I bought. I bought a new house that I want to be feminine & somewhat shabby chic. Have lace curtains in all the windows. Looking for a duvet & saw this I said this is perfect. Well it is when you take it out of its package but then you wash on gentle in cold water with a conditioner. Place in dryer then it changes to not perfect. All the lace that around the duvet curls up on itself. So there I am trying to straighten the lace to lay flat which it didn't. Re-washed & put a dryer sheet in with it when drying. Still had to straighten the lace. It's like you really need to iron this duvet & of course it's shams. Even on sale it's not worth the trouble of buying & having to iron or hand straighten the lace every time you launder. I have other Laura Ashley bedding but this is awful. Skimpy material. Laura Ashley you should be ashamed for producing this. DO NOT RECOMMEND unless you like unnecessary work.

Not True White

This set is an antique white not a true white as described. However, it is a beautiful duvet set. Unfortunately I had to return mine and buy a different set because I wanted a true white.

comfortable because it's cotton

the color is called rose, but this laura ashley duvet is pink. it's beautiful and has lace on one side in a square. not too much, that is noticeable. no zipper, but buttons. even though it was closed the inside catches other things, in the dryer and very hard to get them out.

Lovely, Laura Ashley Home | Annabella Collection | Luxury Premium Ultra Soft Duvet Coverlet

This coverlet fits my duvet perfectly. The fabric is airy and very lightweight and the color is white. I read some reviews about the color being off-white but the one I received is white. This is simple, yet elegant for those who want a little decoration but not overdone. Classic look.

Colour was not white it is very grubby

After spending ages ironing this item and putting in over a brand new white duvet .this cover is so puggy and it's looks horrendous. Considering the price plus made by Laura ashley absolutely disgusting. It will not go on my bed.

Not the greatest quality.

Colour is definitely off white which is what I wanted. My bed is a queen and the comforter doesn’t come over the sides. I had to pull it longer on the one side that is visible. Material is very thin. I’m concerned after a few washes the duvet could become very delicate, because of all this I think it is not worth the price. Debating on ordering a king size as I do like how the duvet looks.

Save your money

Where do I start. The cotton is like tissue paper that you can see through. The duvet cover was over 30 cms too wide and the pillow cases were designed for a pillow that definitely does not emanate from the UK (they were approximately 1.5 times the length of a standard pillow). Bitterly disappointment. Laura Ashley used to be such a reputable brand but I will certainly not be buying this brand again.
