Soft cotton sheets

I’m not a fan of microfiber. They seem to slip off the mattress. These cotton sheets stayed on but are soft like microfiber with the quality expected from Laura Ashley.

Cotton wrinkles, but not excessively for these sheets

I have always wanted floral sheets, but a king size bed has pretty expensive sheets, so plain white ones from Costco were what we had for years. When we repainted the main bedroom pink (Hubby just likes pink), then I went shopping on Amazon, looking for pink floral sheets. Found several patterns, one of which was this one by Laura Ashley. When the price dropped to $49, then I had to get them! First, these ARE 100% cotton; no polyester. Therefore, they WILL wrinkle if you leave them in the dryer for too long. They are softer and smoother than the cotton sheets from the warehouse club store. We have not slept on them yet; we rotate sheets, and they have not hit their rotation, AND, we have guests for the holidays coming, and I am pretty sure that these pretty sheets will hit their rotation while our guests (our kids and grandkids) are here. We are used to getting FOUR pillowcases in king-sized sheet sets. This set has only TWO pillowcases, which is why I am giving the set a four, not five, star rating. We use all four cases in our other sets, so I will have to sub out some plain white cases on the extra pillows. Some reviewers have complained about these sheets not being soft. Cotton is usually soft after being washed; the sizing used on fabrics is supposed to be laundered out. If people are putting these sheets on their beds without washing them, EWW. Do they think that the sheet factory washes, dries, and irons these sheets after they are sewn? No, they are not; they come off the sewing machines, from the hands of laborers who may not be very clean, and are only pressed for appearances. They are not washed, so you should ALWAYS wash sheets, towels, underwear, and anything else that is washable and will touch your skin, before you wear it. Looking at the fitted sheet, I am pretty sure it will fit our mattress without much difficulty. All in all, I like these sheets, and I am happy, so far, with them. If I have any difficulty with them, I will edit this review.

Deep Pocket description of Fitted Sheet not accurate

Love these sheets but description says deep pocket fitted sheet, fits mattress up to 18 ". But my mattress is 13.8" and the fitted sheet just barely fits around the edges.

Extremely soft and comfortable but the price increase is not reasonable.

Love the soft comfort of this set. After about 5 or 6 washes I do see some threading loosening a bit. I do wish the thread count was higher than 300. I feel my price was somewhat fair at $40. But now I see the price jumped up $20 so I would not recommend this until they become reasonable again.

perfect sheet

I have owned a number of Laura Ashley sheet sets and liked them all, but this one is just perfect! The color is bright, the hand feel is soft, it does not wrinkle in the wash and best of all, there is a tag on the inside of one end that says "bottom of the bed." On king-sized beds it is very hard to tell which side is at the bottom because of the shape of the sheets and the inconsistent placement of tags. This sheet set solves this issue. I would buy this sheet set again in a heartbeat.

I love these sheets!

I’m a fan of floral sheets over boring plain ones, but only in cotton which is hard to come by. I love to get into a cold bed, not sure why, maybe it’s just post menopause but these sheets are soft and cool. When I wake up hot, I flip my pillow to the cold side, stick a leg out and go back to sleep. Haha, I know, TMI! I have also have a blue floral set from Laura Ashley as well which is why I knew these would be great, and they are great!

Beautiful print

Beautiful print, cool comfortable sheets. They’re kind of sheer which I don’t appreciate but still love these. They look really nice with my sage green comforter.

False advertising

These are falsely advertised as Cotton Sateen. Once you get the sheets, the package does not support this claim, neither does the texture of the sheets themselves--they are regular 100% cotton sheets, no sateen weave.

Pricey but good quality and beautiful

I love Laura Ashley bedding. They can be expensive, but the quality is always good. These sheets are lovely, they fit the mattress well. They are soft and being cotton they keep you nice and cool in the summer.

These sheets are soft to the touch

I wanted some American sheets and found these on Amazon, they are very well made a nice colour and have the straight pillowcases like the American style ones. I will buy more when they are available.

Quality soft cotton, beautiful saturated colours.

Washes really well, right out of dryer pretty much wrinkle free. Love colour & pattern - true to photos. Price was amazing on Cyber Monday. These are soft (not soft like 400tc Egyptian cotton, but those cost more than twice the price).
