Wall - support for shower arm
Chrome and quality is ok, not great. For price good value. Cutting rod with good saw worked like a charm, no problem with thread. Does the job I needed to get done - support the extended rain shower arm. Not sure it would tolerate direct exposure to water, may rust. Mine is above the water action.

Perfect for our small shower make-over
This was perfect for what we needed in an old cottage make-over we did. The bathroom being tiny we had to add a corner shower. I found a small adjustable corner rod, but it wasn't strong enough to hold up the curtains and the wall was not level either! So purchasing this smaller support was perfect! We did trim a little off of one end but with the screw threads going partway up the rod, it was so easy. We placed it on the curtain rod halfway around and attached it to the ceiling with the enclosed screws. Works great!

Needed much modification to get it to work. No instructions whatsoever with product,
The product is sturdy and looks nice in place but we had significant issues getting it to work. The issues were the same if we were using it as a shower curtain rod holder or to provide support for a shower pipe. First issue was there were no instructions or directions whatsoever with the product. None. Second issue was the product was available in two lengths 6" or 24". That was it but it seemed OK to get the 24" model as they said we could cut it to fit, The support rod that we needed was for 9 inches from the ceiling. Imagine our surprise when we opened the package and realized the pipe holder was threaded on only for a couple of inches on both ends and you could cut the ends of the threads off but the threads were integral to both of the other piece. In other words, the adjustability was minimal and certainly did not work for 9". Fortunately my husband and I are both handymen and we were able to drill the threads on the pipe holder with a drill press to accept the cutoff end of the correct length rod. There was a set screw that held it into place just fine. I wish the rod with the threaded ends was replaced with a rod that was threaded all the way from top to bottom. That certainly would have made it truly adjustable for any length. Third issue was the price. We were stuck and had no choice to buy the longer one at a considerable cost over the shorter one only to find out it was not truly adjustable by any means that someone without shop tools would be able make work. I would recommend a different product for your non-handymen.

Adjustable
Thai is adjustable and can be cut to size with a hack saw: I needed 11”, so I ordered the large. The bracket will fit a pipe 1” in diameter . I cut one threaded end off with the hack saw and inserted that end into the bracket and tightened it with the screw. It took time, and it took a lot of measuring.

Exactly as advertised and pictured
Came quickly, and exactly as pictured. I am not sure what other reviewers were sent; my product had set screws. I easily cut the threaded rod with a hack saw. If you thread a nut on the threads first, you can straighten any damaged threads after cutting. As for the black o-ring, it goes on your shower rod, under the chrome fitting. I didn't need it, as my shower rod is 1", and the fitting was tight. As another reviewer suggested, install on your rod first, then your ceiling, measuring for trueness with a level. Only 4 stars because the provided 1" screws are too short, IMO. I switched to 1 1/2" with plaster anchor sleeves. Overall a good product, easy install, and would buy again if need arose.

Perfect install this how I did mine, great item, works well.
I have an "S" shaped pipe extension that is used to raise the height of the head but put too much weight on pipe this little gem works great.I would advise one make it tight as possible before installing. How I installed mine : Hooked the pipe and bracket setup adjusted threads then used a pencil to mark mounting holes I then pre-drilled hole for molly mounts. I then screwed thread molly bolts as opposed to the supplied screws put bracket back up and adjusted the threads distance until it was tight. I then screwed the mount to wall while leaving the set screw on head loose . Once mounted on wall I then adjusted the set screw and got a nice tight installment. Time to install on my setup about 45 minutes

Easy to install
Much nicer than rope attached to D shower rod and cup hooks in ceiling! It was a nice country / western look that I do not miss. This item matches the support that came with rod. I use fairly heavy plastic curtains all the way around and was too heavy for one support.

Good
Just what we need to support a heavy and sagging shower head and arm. Had to shorten for our needs. No rust so far.

Worked out perfect for what I needed CON — it’s been up 3 months and the threaded portion has rust on it !! Not impressed !!

Looks great, easy to install and works fantastic, not to mention piece of mind
Works and looks great and takes away the worry of causing a major leak problem behind the wall from the heavy weight of the showerhead breaking the pipe.. Worth every penny.

Looks great so far!
Looks great...exactly what I needed. Have not installed it yet but I give 5 starts for the seller and the looks and structure of the product. Hope it's as good and it looks.
