A lovely hassle
I purchased both the table lamp and the floor lamp. The table lamp arrived several days ago and went together without too much trouble. The top section took a bit of fiddling to get the threads to line up correctly but, in the end, it worked. The floor lamp arrived today and presented more of a problem. The bottom two sections needed the fiddling around but they did go together.....finally. The top section? Uh-huh. I even tried wiping the inside threads and the outside threads with a little bit of WD-40. It helped a teensy bit enough to allow me to screw them together within a 1/4 inch of completion. At that point I was all sweated up and angry so decided, "Hey, good enough"! It's straight, not wobbly, seems quite sturdy, the shade hides the fact that it's not quite all together so I'm fine with it. When all is said and done, both the table and the floor lamps are lovely, classy and provide good light. Just be aware that, unless they improve the manufacturing process, there will likely be some assembly issues.

Hit or miss with quality
I purchased this lamp from Bed Bath and Beyond. It is a beautiful lamp. The first lamp was defective and returned. The lamp pole screws together but the pieces were not aligned properly to allow a complete connection. The second lamp was perfect. I decided to purchase another lamp to have two matching lamps. The third lamp came with rust on the base and was returned. I gave up on Bed Bath and Beyond. I searched and found the lamp on Amazon. The fourth lamp was received. The pieces fit together properly, there was no rust but the lamp leans. Three of 4 of the lamps had defects. All four worked but the price of the lamp is too much to accept a defective product. If you are lucky enough to receive better quality, it is a lovely lamp.

Don’t waste your money
I purchased this exact lamp from a different retailer about 7 years ago and loved it. Easy to assemble and worked great until it stopped working. It was the perfect fit for a corner of my living room and the 3 way lighting was great. Mood lighting on the lowest, great for reading on the highest. I was happy to find it again so I promptly ordered it. The first lamp I got would not assemble correctly. I believe some other customers said that had trouble with the threads not lining up and screwing in correctly. I had the same issue with the pole that attached to the base. Completely stuck. I couldn’t screw it in completely and I couldn’t get it y screwed. Luckily I was able to fit it back into the box to return it and the retailer sent out a replacement. Well, the replacement was just as difficult to assemble but luckily things lined up and I was able to put it together, very methodically and slowly. Thrilled about this, I was excited to turn it on. Had my brand new 3 way bulb installed and went to turn it on, and it’s not a 3 way lamp like my other one was lamp was. It is the EXACT SAME LAMP and the description says it is a 3 way. I tried a second 3 way bulb and still not a 3 way. This is so incredibly disappointing. Do I disassemble and return it….AGAIN? Or do I just stay dissatisfied with the $100 purchase and never ever buy from this brand again? So frustrating…..

Absolute trash
Steer clear – I bought this lamp many years ago and it was wonderful. All good things come to an end, and so I was looking to replace it, and was beyond happy when I saw that it was still available for purchase. The ones they ship out in 2023 look the same, but are of a vastly inferior quality. The three-way light did not work on the first unit, so I shipped it back and bought another one. That one came with a dirty lampshade and and suffered the same problem with three way light. In conclusion – the quality control is nonexistent. I wish to manufacturer would rather charge me more money, and send me a working product rather than mess around and waste my time like that

This floor lamp came in good condition and was easy to put together
This floor lamp came in good condition and was easy to put together. It was a little shorter than I expected (perhaps I should have measured more carefully), but it looks exactly like the picture. The lamp is turned on, and the light brightened for three degrees of brightness, by touching the lamp. There is no switch, which could be an advantage or a problem depending on your situation. Although there is only one bulb (it does permit a bright bulb), the shade is long and the bulb is near the top. So the top of the lamp is a little brighter than the lower part of the shade. Because the shade is cylindrical, it doesn't take up a lot of space or block eye contact between chairs like a wider shade would. This lamp suits my situation, and I am pleased with it.

Defective unit but other floor lamp was perfect.
This lamp was out of the box defective due to what we think was simply a unit that got past quality control during manufacturing. Our home renovation project and some deadlines precluded us from seeking a replacement, so we simply returned the lamp as damaged upon receipt. NOTE: The companion Adesso lamp on the same order was perfect in every way and will be rated as such.

Threads don't line up on pole assemblies.
I have purchase 4 of the floor lamps. While assembling I had issues with the threads lining up when assembling the poles. The only reason I've continued to buy the product is the touch on and off feature. If it weren't for Amazon "easy" return policy I wouldn't have bought these a second time.

Great looks, be sure to measure height before ordering, assemble carefully, and you'll like them.
5 stars for looks. Bit of an in-between height, but I love that. Measure well so you're not surprised. Threads not well made on the pieces of the body you need to screw together, but take your time and they'll got together okay. Once assembled, they look expensive because the pole is more substantial than others and the shade is attractive. I haven't gotten the 3-way feature to work. May have to try different bulbs. The touch on-off works great.
