Stylish, elegant and easy to install with 2 people and difficult with one person
Summary: Let me get this out of the way: this linear pendant light looks absolutely fantastic. I had a stock light fixture that came with my cookie cutter house. This definitely makes a huge difference. Let me also provide some insight as to how I replaced my existing hanging light fixture with this. Highly recommend this although kind of sucks that you can't really get the kinks out of the cords. Cords should have been braided to prevent this but better than having chains and cords in a chandelier. Something to note before we start, you will need wire cutters, drill, drywall anchors that support 75lbs (the ones that come with the light are lackluster) and a tape measure. 1. Turn of your power through the circuit breaker. Remove your old light fixture and make sure your junction box can support the light (most can do 50lbs but this light fixture allows you to also use 4 drywall anchors to further support it in addition to the ceiling brace.) 2. Mock up where the base plate will go on the ceiling. Hopefully you've got another person to hold it up to the ceiling while you use a pencil or sharpie to note where the drywall anchors will go. After putting in the anchors, you can then attach the base plate to the ceiling by screwing in the 2 screws to the junction box/ceiling brace. 3. This is going to annoy a lot of people but this light has 3 cords and they're all in excess of 8 feet. For me, I wanted the lights to only hand 2 feet from the ceiling but it's okay if all 3 are not completely the same length because it's impossible to get them all level with each other. You know why? Because the only way to keep the cords from going down is to tie a knot, so you'll have 3 knots for each cord. 4. On the other side which I guess would be the top side of the cover plate, you'll need to use your wire stripper/cutter to remove excess cord. I highly recommend that you leave a little less than 1 feet for each of the 3 cords on the top side of the cover plate. If you leave too much, you're not going to fit the cords inside the cover plate and attach it to the base plate. 5. If you've had to cut excess cord, you'll most likely have to re-attach the hot/neutral/ground wires of the 3 cords ad combine them with the included wire nuts or you could use your own cause frankly the white wire nuts are shoddy. 6. Now comes the actual installation - this is where having another person helps a lot by holding it up for you. If not, fear not, you need to use the carabiner to hook it to the ceiling brace. The ceiling brace itself didn't have room for a chain, so I had to use rope and attach the carabiner to the rope. 7. Now you just attach the black to black wire from the ceiling (hot), white to white wire from the ceiling (neutral) and green to copper wire from the ceiling (ground). Then you should also attach the copper wire that's welded to the cover plate to the ground green screw on the base plate. 8. Once all wires are connected with wire nuts, you can pop that cover plate onto the base plate, making sure that the 2 down screws stick out of the cover plate so you can screw on the decorative fasteners. You can kind of hear the cover plate snap into the base plate. 9. Stick in a lightbulb first and turn on the power so that you know it works. If it doesn't, take it down and check your wiring again. If it does, you're done.

Very Trendy!
I love the simple industrial look of this light fixture. The brushed nickel is sharp-looking while keeping a humble aesthetic that meshes well with the rest of my home. The glass canisters that hold the light bulbs look great, and they remind me of the lighting at a nice casual restaurant. The light was easy to install with two people, and the wide range of adjustability of the cord length (16”- 130”) came in handy when trying to get the light in just the correct position hanging over my kitchen table. I’m really happy with the look of the light after install, and I’m glad I finally decided to replace my old, outdated fixture. The updated look and soft lighting make the kitchen feel like a whole new room. I’ve also noticed that the company has fan fixtures that match this light, and I’m thinking I’ll l be getting one of those to complete the look and bring the whole room together.

love it
Hunter makes great products, and this is NO exception they are always up on the latest styles... I love this slightly industrial type look of this pendant. the finish is superb as with all Hunter products. the installation is pretty easy if you are handy, u have to secure to the ceiling, like any fixture, wiring is simple. the height of the pendants is adjustable. could not be more happy with this.... fairly priced considering the very high quality recommended!

Amazing upgrade! Love this light
We replaced a 20 year old, out of date chandelier style light over our kitchen island with this fixture. It has transformed and modernized our kitchen! Installation did take some time and it is helpful to have a second set of hands during it. The light fixture is well made in a beautiful brushed nickle. It is the focal point of our kitchen, receiving compliments anytime we host guests. Highly recommend this to upgrade your space!

Beautiful
This light fixture is absolutely stunning. I will update my review once I am able to install in in the next month. We had wanted to replace our old, dim fixture with something more bright and modern and this one does not disappoint. I have no experience installing light fixtures and while I took everything out of the box and attempted to do it myself, I ultimately have decided to wait to have someone come and install for me. I would highly recommend!
