Excellent quality!
These mower blades are some of the longest lasting blades I’ve had. I love them so much I continue to buy them when needed. I am not a commercial user, just a homeowner that has an acre of land to mow and I have found that these easily hold there edge and cut well for much longer than the cheaper ones. I have some pine cones that end up in my back yard, not a lot but they would wreak havoc on the cheaper blades. These hold up well!

Best blades ever
Don’t waste money on other brands. These blade can take a beating like our sandy soil and still deliver a beautiful cut. Sharpen very nicely too. Been using this brand for years now. Wouldn’t want another.

John Deere L110 not to impressed
Bought these expecting something great but wasn't too impressed with the cut. I thought I could use the enclosure piece and it would mulch grass easily but instead left lots of visible clumps of grass behind. They seem to be quite dull from the box but I guess I'll have to keep them installed and just continue to throw trimmings out the side of deck.

Gator Blades
Installed on JD X330 with 42" deep accel deck. Good blades that shred anything you throw at them. Pros: -These are some heavy-duty, aggressive mulch blades that do indeed mulch very well. -They are heavy duty and well made. -Made here in the USA. -Installed perfectly. Cons: -One blade seems a tad off balance causing the tractor to shimmy. Gets a bet better with RPM, but still noticeable. -Measurements are off a bit, I get some slight contact with the deck causing a very loud ringing. Cant really replicate it, it seems random. Could be because one of the blades is not drilled exactly center -Because they are heavy and well made, there is a noticeable decrease in fuel economy. Lots of heavy rotating mass. I may give them another try next year, hoping the unbalanced issue was a defect with the set I purchased. But I plan on swapping back to the OEM John Deere mulch blades.

Gators are Great!
For years I have worked very hard mulching my leaves with an large grinder. Finally with the suggestion of a friend I purchased these Gator Mulching blades. They are fantastic! I put them on without any problems, ran across the leaves and immediately I could see the difference these blades made. I am estimating but I think I problem cut my time and labor by two thirds. It was so much easier to ride across the leaves than to blow them into piles and put them in a grinder. I highly recommend these blades.

John Deer L110
I don’t typically write reviews on the things that I buy but because I spent a bit of time looking for a good set of mulching blades hopefully this will help someone else. I have a John Deere L110 that came with my house when I purchased it so I’m not sure how old it is. The mower is in great shape but I’ve never been impressed with the cut I get. I sharpened the blades twice in the four years that I’ve had the mower but still not great. The 3 in 1 OEM blades were unimpressive. I purchased these blades and after putting a good edge on them they make the yard look amazing. No more high spots. I compared the blades with the OEM’s and I felt they were a touch to long so I look a little off of each side but honestly was probably not necessary. Hope this helps.

Excellent mulching and perfect fit for an L110
I was a bit apprehensive about purchasing these due to some reviewers stating that they were too long. This was the first time that I have tried a different style of blade on my L110. I never felt that the John Deere 3 in 1 blades that came with the mower did a particularly good job at mulching but since it worked with the bagger that's what I have been using for years. I quit using the bagging attachment several years ago and the grass in the midwest can be a pain to mulch when it gets too long and if it is a bit damp then forget it, clump city. I am extremely pleased to say that they were the exact same size as the John Deere blades that I just took off. They fit perfectly with no need to grind them shorter. There is about 3/16th clearance between the blade and the mower deck and that matches exactly with the John Deere blades. I did notice that when I mow, that depending on how high the grass is that there will sometimes be a thin strip of grass remaining in the center of the cut path. I have observed this from time to time with the original style blades so I don't really consider this a defect just something that can happen with this particular model mower. In all, it does a much better job at mulching the John Deere blades ever did. The grass clippings were very fine and as I had let the grass get a bit shaggy I was impressed. The biggest test will be in the fall and spring when the grass is thick and damp but so far I am pleased with the results. As far as the blades themselves, they were very heavy, solid, and balanced. As others have mentioned the blades do not come sharpened. If you like to start with a razor sharp blade then expect to spend a little time sharpening. The only other thing I noticed is that the mower sounds different when the blades are running but you quit noticing it after a few minutes. This is my first purchase of aftermarket blades and I would definitely recommend them for an L110 model. I am not sure how well they work with a bagger but for mulching they were great.

Did not fit Deere L110 without filing
These did not fit my Deere L110 out of the box. Though the two blades had about an 1/8” clearance when mounted, they would nick each other when running creating a racket under my 20 year old deck. I took a hand file and knocked off the paint and a little metal off the four edges and all is quiet. They do a nice job cutting and mulching.
