My daughter loves it!

I thought my daughter would like this because she's always hugging and putting her burp cloth in her mouth. Now she has a sensory toy to hug and play with instead. She loves it! Green portion is soft towel material, crinkles on star and purple point, blue teether, textured sun's on silky yellow point, squeaker on the red and orange point and high contrast with the black and white point! Its really great and I'm glad I made this purchase

Baby LOVES Mr. Star!

I think of all the baby toys we have, this one gets the most attention! My 4 month old has used this for a couple months and continues to enjoy it! It's larger than expected which comes in handy in the carseat since the toy can't fall into the crack if he lets go of it. We always lay it across his lap like a blanket in the carseat and it lets us know when baby is awake or sleeping by the crinkle noise. The crinkle noise on the pink corner and in the center blue star fascinates him (and most other babies I have seen) and he can keep satisfied for quite some time by just rustling this star around. He also has just begun chewing on the blue teething corner and seems pretty content with it based on the amount of drool on Mr. Star ;) He can't quite squeak the orange corner on his own yet, but he loves when I squeak it for him. It's a quick attention grabber and smile inducer ( great for picture moments!). The purple corner has what looks like a button hole where you can hook the little extra TOMY link that comes with all the TOMY toys. I hooked a cheap little pair of keys onto this link and baby loves it! Gives him an extra teething surface and a rattle all in one! But you could essentially hook anything to this buttonhole: carseat, pacifier, etc. I have machine washed this toy and let it air dry and the crinkler is still intact (which was one of my big concerns). Overall this has been a great toy for us and since it is so reasonably priced, I will probably buy a few more as gifts. Mr. Star was great for a little baby, and is still growing with my little guy. I would definitely recommend to all!

Entertaining for 4 month old.

The Star Teething blanket arrived in a sealed bag that said 'ready to ship'. It is larger than I thought, more like a foot square, which is great because there is more my baby can grab. Washing instructions for 'before use' according to paper tag: put in a pillowcase and throw in washer. Air dry. Although I must say, even though I put it in two pillowcases the Star blanket was outside both when washer was done. Oddly enough, instructions on cloth tag attached to star say to "Always hand wash"... Description of blanket: Terry cloth green body with a star in the center of one side of the body. The star is also terrycloth, light blue, and outlined in blue satiny piping. The star "crinkles" and the material listed is cellophane. The terry feels like microfiber. Each corner of the star is a different color. Each corner: Purple is satiny with an eyelet where you can loop through a flower shaped plastic ring that comes with package for this purpose. This ring has been detached several times by baby, so I must keep an eye or I will lose it. She likes to tug at it. Bright pink corner is ribbed, a close stripe corduroy. Blue corner feels like a rubbery material with a pattern of abstract people. My baby loves to chew on this. Orange corner has a squeezing ball of some sort inside. My baby has yet to discover this. Yellow corner is satiny with some embroidered 'suns' in purple and pink. Purple center, pink rays. So far my baby really likes this and it's great because she tens to want to chew on her clothing. I would highly recommend it!

Smaller than I thought

My husband ordered this teething "blanket" for our 4 month old baby. •The colors are as pictured. •The green center part is a terry cloth material. •The blue star in the center crinkles, sounds like cellophane. • the purple corner also crinkles and is a silky material. The purple corner has a slit as the blanket comes with a green "carrying ring" which can be used to attach it to other items. • The reddish/pinkish corner is a corduroy material. • The yellow corner is kind of silky and the pink star stitching makes it textured. •The blue corner is the only rubber like material that the baby would like chewing on while teething. • The orange corner is a polyester material that has a squeaky ball inside. •Since I figured my baby would have this item all over her mouth, I machine washed it prior to use. •Washing the blanket messed up the squeaky ball inside the orange corner. It no longer squeaks. •The "blanket" was a lot smaller than I thought. It's more like the size of a wash cloth. I guess it's good for little hands. •overall 4 stars because it's smaller than I expected and because the squeaky ball didn't stand a chance in the washer. •shipping was super fast. Ordered Monday night, received it Wednesday morning.
