I was so excited to buy this product but it comes with flaws that are only evident after purchase. It's difficult to open and refill It requires the user to buy a small plastic canister of wipes (around 30) and then insert that plastic canister into the Kohler dispenser You have to hold the Kohler canister in a tight grip with one hand while you pull the wipe out with the other hand. It's not heavy enough at the bottom and easily tips over if you are not holding it It's difficult to pull the wipes out without tipping over the container.

One of my best finds!

I was an avid user of disinfecting wipes well before COVID sent us into a disinfecting frenzy, and had enough of a stockpile to get me through the Great Wipes Shortage of 2020. I had bought one of these prior to the pandemic and it has performed well – so well I bought another for a different area of the house. Depending on the size canister I buy, I use the smaller size by simply dropping the canister into the holder. I use the larger quantity size by taking them out the store brand container and inserting them directly into the dispenser. I’ve not had a problem with rusting on the inside using them this way, but I also inspect it rinse it out and dry it between each refill. What little rusting I’ve noticed is actually on the OUTSIDE rim of the container where the top connects with the body – the rust is hidden by the top when it’s on. Seems to me this would happen whether you use the plastic container or put the wipes directly in the dispenser because the wipes do not actually come in contact with this part of the dispenser. These light rust spots can be taken care of with a little baking soda and elbow grease. Another tip: sometimes the top sticks when you press the lever to open it (usually happens if it hasn’t been opened in a while – but the wipes haven’t dried out thankfully!). Once the lid is up, I just dab the latching mechanism with a little oil and the top releases without a problem. I also added my own label based on my favorite brands of wipes! Love these dispensers.

Pretty, but difficult to open

I love this cannister and it looks so nice on my counter, but it really is difficult to open. I wish it was twist on or something instead.

I Love This Thing!

It's impossible to keep clutter off the kitchen counter in our house, so I try to make it look as unobtrusive as possible. I hate leaving retail packages around (the labels get grungy and torn in a wet environment). There are under counter dispensers and attractive pumps for soap or lotion, but I still had the neon-colored plastic canister of sanitizing wipes with the puckered label next to the sink, until now. This unit is very well made (Kohler's usual excellent quality), sleek and clean and holds a 35-sheet plastic canister of wipes, canister and all. Just remove the canister lid, open the dispenser lid, and drop the canister in! Thread the first wipe through the lid and you're good to go. It's easy to keep clean; dirt and splatters wipe right off. Since the plastic canister fits inside, it's only necessary to clean the inside occasionally, also easy to do. It looks great beside the sink -- no ugly labels or screaming product logos in sight. The lid has a push button to open and latches easily to close. The one potential drawback is that it's about 30% larger than the plastic canister, so it isn't small, but the larger size and heft give it a little added stability. It looks beautiful, and no one has knocked it into the sink yet. :) For me, it's a win! Highly recommend.

Aesthetically, a nice to have item

Overall observations: - well made really nice sleek design.; sturdy easy to use one touch button - no problems thus far - solid plastic top with rubber cap lining to prevent wipes from drying out readily - metal container bit thinner and lighter weight than expected - came without a box, shipped in paper bubble envelope - works with larger count (72-80) wipes by inserting them directly into dispenser without using the original container - not more than 4 stars because finger prints and liquid splatter transfers onto the stainless steel easily; also a bit on the expensive side but that goes without saying with Kohler accessories

Like I can disenfect outside , product is awesome ,

This is second one I bought , did receive with a dent, but was giving as gift , Was sent a new one next day . Perfect condition! They will hold a costco size lysol wipe . It is a little taller ( and thin) than you think so make note . Approx.10 1/2 x 4. But well made. Every time I pull a sheet do not have a issue comes out perfect. and next sheet ready.

So worth it

I hesitated to buy it because it’s expensive, but I am so glad I did. I bought wipes that come in a bag in bulk, I was able to put the bag in. It works with the regular Lysol containers too. It keeps the wipes moist, easy to close and open, looks great. The quality is great. Don’t hesitate, get it!
