High leverage end cutters that both cut and pull nails and even small screws
Knipex makes some of the best hand tools on the planet. I own 8-10 pair their pliers and cutters and they are all excellent quality. They are not cheap but when I'm working and the tool goes on vacation, I'm not happy. Pro: -Long handles on the 12 inch, lots of leverage -German forged quality -Fit easily in my tool bag and tool box -Can cut 12 penny nails and work as a nail pulled as well -Great tools reward the user with great results and when folks see that your tools are high quality, it's an indication that you do quality work. Con: -Pricey - but when I have that oddball nail hidden on some trim that I need to dispatch quickly and it's slowing me down, these cutters will work. Hope that helps!

Power through nails
These make easy work of cutting nails that came through, and do a pretty decent job of getting almost flush.

Very strong, cut great
I bought these to cut 12 gauge stainless steel quilting pins at work. They cut through like butter. I originally had an 8" pair of the blue handled brand that cut them well, but they wore out. I then tried to replace them with the 10" Yellow handle ones, thinking they'd certainly be better, being a major name brand and all, but I was wrong. I couldn't cut them with all my might, so I returned them for a pair of these, and they are the best I've owned so far. Hope that helps. I originally posted a more in-depth review, but I think my inclusion of the other name brands got my review denied, so we will try it this way and see what happens.

This is making a good run to be my favorite tool, beating out my cordless angle grinder.
This thing is amazing for dealing with old nails and screws. Nails it grabs and pries out way better than a claw hammer or nail puller, or cuts them off one-handed. Screws it can grab and unscrew even a stub, or cuts them off one-handed. Not *completely* flush cut - maybe a 1/16" stub left - but 95% of the time when I grab the nail, instead of cutting I pry sideways and pull it out. Amazing for cleaning up crap that has nails and screws sticking out of it, like taking the ceiling off a room in an old house and prepping for new wallboard.

Bigger is better
Much longer than my last pair of knipex nail pullers, to the point where it’s an awkward fit in my carpenters bags, but all that extra handle length means a lot of extra leverage, which means they’re much easier to use and deliver better results. I think they also cut a little more flush than my shorter pair, so that’s another plus.

I wish my other wood and metal cutting tools were this good. I will look at what tools Knipex makes ...
I bought this tool to cut of the ends of nails and to cut the assorted small-diameter metal items. Don't shy away from this tool because of the cost. This is likely made of old-fashion tool steel, cold-rolled and hardened, which means that the Kinipex nippers are made of a harder steel than the steel it is cutting. Snip and the metal was near effortlessly and surgically removed. I wish my other wood and metal cutting tools were this good. I will look at what tools Knipex makes again, when I need to purchase another cutting tool. Worth the money. Keep it dry and lightly oiled.

These are fantastic! I get enough leverage that i do not strain my hands any more.

Great for an electrician who works slab!
These are longer than what most rod bashers use to tie rebar, but as an electrician running and repairing pipes in the steel framework, these are perfect! I can reach deep into already finished rebar to cut out, fix, and re-tie damaged conduit runs and they aren't so large as to hinder tying new pipe on open, unfinished steelwork. They have held up to rain, sleet, and snow with no problems and I give them a couple drops of oil here and there to keep them up to the task. The quality of these end cutters is unparalleled, and leads me to expect these to last for a very long time.

Bad quality
The cutting edge broke when it dropped from my hand from a height of 1Meter. Going to try and get my money back. I'm an electrician and used it about 3 weeks only. Save your money and buy the Klein pliers. I have had them for 13 years and they are still going.

Quality cutters
I like it for the ease of snipping off practically ant size of nails. Not fatiguing to use.

An excellent hand tool!
As “Nippers” go, these are the best high leverage end cutters I’ve ever used. EASILY cuts through 16 and 18 gauge stainless wire. I wish I had them Years earlier! Highly recommended.
