Horrible directions
Pretty cool little models, but you have to watch out in certain steps because it gets kind of vague on the directions. I kind of go the extra mile with these things and get a little overboard. After applying the tissue paper, make sure you put on a few thin coats of clear lacquer to seal it. Then graphics and paint. Fabricated my own floats and all graphics done by masking off whatever it took to come up with mostly my vision. The decals are kind of horrible too, because when you go to soak them and pull them out they fall apart.

Laser cut is a game changer
Having a good time putting this 150 together. The balsa quality/thickness is just fine and the laser-cut parts just about fall off the sheet when you pick them up. Very nice improvement over the older style die-cuts. Only complaint is a lack of clear instructions for the rear window installation, m3? part#? Had to search the web for a better idea of what goes where, without the 'net you'd be hosed in this area. I'm maybe halfway thru and already have my next kit, Cessna Bird-Dog, en route. And busy planning for the next after that. Great way to spend cold fall/winter evenings. Anticipating a learning curve on the tissue covering...

guillow kit
got this kit. so you want to build a balsa kit...total fun until you want to paint it. you need to develop this skill before you try it on the kit you just built. guillow no longer has any paints.soo..when you go to the hobby store.you will find out you are on your own, a lost art .they will tell you to make a test set up a grid with balsa sticks and doped tissue ...and try to see what diffent paints do to it....do it or you will ruin your kit..if you followed guillows book and use wood glue as a dope. the tissue will sag with each painting....good luck, these kits are not for the faint of heart..the guy at our local hobby store started to buid one tossed it in the trash. went back to plastic.

Requires lots of attention to small details
The laser die cut parts were very well done. No problem getting them out. Construction steps leave lots to be desired. Many small steps that need to be done before continuing on are left to find out by mistake....so study the plans first, pretend that you are building each part, look for those sneaky things that are not clearly marked, then actually build. I'll give it a 3 out of 5. I also fail to understand why I have to cut out the pilot halves, wheel pants to put them together....really! I have built many models and I was helping my granddaughter build this model as part of a school engineering project. It still is much better than the old days when we had to sand parts out of the poor die cutting.

That my grandson would like it.
My 9 yr. old grandson loves to build things. This one is a close match to his Dad’s plane..

Had a lot of fun building this plane
Had a lot of fun building this plane, but it needs patience. It took me quite some time to build it as I never built model planes before. You can easily damage the parts and finished plane can get tilted or crooked as mine if you are not very careful (it still looks very nice though). I broke the fuselage cage in many different sections but those are easy to repair. Initially I wanted to fly it but now I don't as I spent way too much time on it.

Awesome balsa model kit. Laser cut.
Package was delivered in a timely fashion. I was very impressed with the model kit. The laser cut pieces were cleanly cut and easy to remove. Great set of instructions you can build off of. Only recommendation I have is that you should ship product with some foam or air pocket to protect product inside. Overall...very happy with my model. Definitely recommend to others as I will be buying from here again.

Probably would of turned out great
Was fun but the cat destroyed it before I got a quarter way done, decided to build a real plane instead. Not the seller or manufacturers fault for what happened to it, it was mine. Would buy again if wasn’t busy with the real thing
