Like the picture? not really.
I do love this product but on my third purchase of this I was weary due to the pictured representation but upon receiving it found it to be the same kit for under the bathroom sink hookups couple valves hose and connectors, great product.

Makes the repair kind of fun but additional steps may be necessary
This is an easy kit for a quick sink repair but I would suggest using it only if you've had prior experience with DIY plumbing (or you're a fast learning mechanically inclined individual). This is only because the full repair process may involve some extra steps, depending on your predicament, such as cutting the original copper or plastic supply piping behind the leaking valve (if that applies to your situation), sanding and deburring the cut pipe, cutting and heat-bending the new PEX if needed, and attaching the push-fit valves and fittings. That part sounds easy, and push-to-connect fittings are fun for the whole family, but it helps to have used them before so you're familiar with how it feels to bottom out the copper or plastic pipe, how it feels when the teeth dig in, etc. In fact, you might want to practice connecting everything before the repair. Push-fit connectors can be released by depressing the collar at each end with the included orange ring (you can use a vice or crescent wrench too, but Shark's release tool is convenient). Professional plumbers would probably use compression fittings or barbed pex and tend to avoid Sharkbite and other push-to-connect devices, but that does not mean that they are bad for the DIY individual, just more expensive. Plumbers I know also use buckets as toolboxes so whatever works. The extra cost here is well worth it, I believe, for the 45 mins or less of time you'll spend.

So So easy for copper pipe.
Hells Yes. I had....key word "HAD" a kitchen sink faucet that I wanted to get rid of in my house (built early 80's). But my house's plumbing was plumbed by someone who REALLY loved solder. So my house is all copper pipes. And the line to the kitchen faucet was soldered directly to the water in and hot water heater.....NO TURN OFFS....at all. So great I thought I'm stuck with this terrible kitchen sink faucet. But the SharkBite Faucet Installation kit was my savior. Turned off the water. Opened all faucets. Then said a prayer and with "GoChange Mini Tube Cutter" (bought on amazon) I cut the pipes. Using the "Cash Acme U702A Shark Bit Deburring" thing (bought on Amazon). I was set. Removed the terrible faucet and installed a pull out handle one that I had for about 4 years after I realized I couldn't do this. I installed it...because now I could. I was done in 1 hour with the WHOLE Project. Most of which was the Pull-Out Faucet I installed. It was all slip on and when I was done I checked and double check and to this day....NO LEAKS!! I'm so so happy. This was so easy and SO CHEAP when considering the cost of hiring a plumber. I was so so happy....I'm going to use SharkBite to change out my water heater.

Replacing the shutoff valves and hoses made easy
I just replaced two bathroom faucets. The shut off valves were in major need of replacing along with the hoses that were there. I spent the most time removing the old compression sleeve (used the sleeve puller that you can buy from HD or Lowes) from the copper pipes. Then the pipes needed to clean. Then just push the new shutoff valves on. Having the right preparatory tools help. The PEX was a tad difficult to use for me as I am used to more bend. However, cutting it to the right length (sharkbite cutting tool was handy) made it very manageable. The biggest issue, if you can call it that, is that there is way more PEX included than most would need. However, I am sure it will come in handy for other jobs. Great kit and would definitely recommend this.

Buyer Beware, Product Pictures are Incorrect
Two stars because I did receive a faucet connection kit, but the pictures show an icemaker connection kit, which is what I need(ed). It's genuine Shark Bite, so I'm sure the quality is good. It's the "ad" that's deceptive.

Everything fits and connected to existing PEX linesI
I used this set to install a new bathroom sink and water lines in a weekend cabin. The pieces all fit exactly as they should and connected to my PEX lines properly. This project took me less than a half hour total by myself and that's kind of awesome. The shut off valves do shut off the water completely and they are easy to grip.

MUST HAVE
While I am experienced in home remodeling, I had never tackled plumbing. The idea of something leaking is terrifying. Now, that being said, I LOVE SHARKBITE! The hardest part of any of the experience was turning off my water main in the basement (it’s in a small access panel). No lie, that was the hardest part. I have every intention of letting my 4 year old do the next one. He loves to help when I do stuff around the house, and what better FULL PROOF option then plumbing…at least now that I have SHARKBITE. As for the water main, I’m going to have the City come out to turn off the water at the street, so I can upgrade my main shut off to a SHARKBITE 90 degree ball valve. Absolute must buy if you are tackling plumbing yourself.

Everything you need and hopefully a little more (the removal tool).
I have no interest in soldering, especially inside a finished kitchen cabinet close to the rear wall. Shark bite is never the cheapest way to install a fitting but given I don't need to call a plumber it puts me out on top every time and I love how it is easily reversible if needed. Also compatible with pex, copper and pvc - amazing! One tip is to make sure you have a nice clean cut on the tubing. I got lazy and tried using the wire cutter portion of a linemans plier and it leaked. Got my inexpensive purpose built PVC cutter and its an A+ fit.
