Fits the Ryobi P548 perfectly, without modification. Amazing chain/bar and sharpener combo!
After much deliberation I was very ready to buy the Oregon 40V chainsaw due to the Power Sharp technology and my lack of skill sharpening chainsaw chains- also being that I didn't really want to learn how to sharpen chainsaw chains. (Credit where credit is due, the professionals that sharpen chains are amazing at what they do, but it is a painstaking process where experience is a requirement) I am an average home-gamer that cuts and trims the occasional tree and cleans up broken or leaning trees after storms. I wanted a cordless chainsaw, but I didn't want to deal with gas or gas related maintenance, mainly due to how long the tool would sit dormant due to lack of use and ethanol-free fuel isn't immediately accessible in my area, or is incredibly overpriced in grab-cans at some retailers. I was very close to buying the Oregon 40V chainsaw, but I was concerned about the batteries going bad due to lack of use and always being on the charger. I use Ryobi 18V brushless tools for work and after much consideration, I purchased all 18V Ryobi tools for my lawn care/landscaping. The biggest pitfall with their best 18V chainsaw was the 12" bar, which essentially made it a pruning saw only. The saw has plenty of power, but I wanted to be able to use it to cut larger trees as needed. We had a 14" wide trunk willow tree that fell in a storm, and I was determined to cut it using this saw, but the bar was laughably undersized for the job. After considering my options, I researched other bars that could potentially fit this saw, but with no information available online about anyone having done this, I decided to try it for myself. Other manufacturers showed that bars of this design (Designed for Poulan, Craftsman, Homelite) also fit Ryobi saws, and using my best judgement from what I could see in photos, It appeared to me that this would fit. I was pleasantly surprised how well it fit the saw, with no bushings or modification required in any way. The quick adjuster works perfectly and the oiler ports are in the same location as the OE bar, and the chain is properly lubed during use. The saw has plenty of power to drive this chain and bar combo and I tackled the Willow tree with ease! The wood chips this chain generates are amazing; it cuts amazingly well. The teeth on this chain are like razors, horrifying and effective all the same. Resharpening is a breeze as well. I used the 9ah battery for all my cutting which balances the saw perfectly at the top handle with this 16" bar and provided plenty of power to fell the tree. Oregon is one of the top names in chainsaw bars and chains and they hit a home-run with this setup. Never again will I cut with a dull chain and I can still tackle some of the bigger jobs with this now much more useful saw. TL:DR- This fits the 18v Ryobi Brushless chainsaw (Originally 12" bar) and it eats it up. This bar/chain combo is amazing regardless of the saw used.

Love this for an acre with lots of trees that need limbing
I bought this to use on the Ego 16“ battery powered chainsaw. It works great except in the smaller branches. As the stuff gets below half an inch diameter I get some problems. Never had this issue on a 18 gas chainsaw with this setup. Not sure if it's the 16“ or the Ego. But it's definitely the combination. Not enough of a problem to stop using it.

Worth it. Every penny.
Yes, there is a difference here between your regular chainsaw chain you can buy anywhere and this one. I have a cheapo refurbished Homelite saw that I bought. Renting a saw was $70 and the one I bought was $100 and it's paid for itself multiple times. But I digress.. In short, I was burning through chains with the cutting I was doing. I removed a dead Japanese maple, and demolished a bunch of old landscape timbers. Might have been user error, but I know maple is a tough wood and that the landscape timbers had nails that were hidden. I bought 2 regular chains and was going to get a third when I came across this Powersharp. First, the chain is sharper and more durable than the standard Oregon chain you can buy at big box stores. But the real savings in time and money is using the sharpener. Attach it easily to the bar, run the saw quickly and it's sharp again. I sharpened the saw 3 times to finish what I was doing, then the saw stopped working. But that's not the chains fault! So, just in the time savings alone this was worth it for me. I will take the other chains to get professionally sharpened, but then I'll keep using this to keep them sharp. I'm almost sad that I'm done with what I bought the saw for, because this worked so well! Buy this, you'll not regret it.

Oregon Powersharp blade
I seldom take the time to write reviews. Wow this is a great blade! It really cuts better than conventional blades. I tried it on my small saw and my bigger one. I can cut larger logs with the smaller saw than I could with a conventional blade since it cuts so nice. The only downside that I have found, and it is a small one, is that it has more kickback (don't try plunge cutting) and it is more grabby - it gets caught in the wood a little more if you slow down too much. Very minor though compared to the overall performance. I can't attest to the sharpening yet, I used it for a few hours and it is still super sharp. I can tell from the design though, that it will sharpen very well. If I paid to get my blades sharpened, it was $8 each, or I we would sharpen them by hand. The initial price with the bar is a one time. The replacement blade with a new sharpener is only $5 more than I was paying for a conventional blade. One sharpening and I am ahead with this blade. Can't beat it. I already ordered a second bar & blade for the other saw. I will phase out the conventional. Some have stated that these won't last as long as conventional. I'm not sure about that, but from what I see, I will save time and money over the long run, and being able to sharpen the blade in seconds, verses 20-30 minutes is HUGE!

Impressive & Aggressive
I have a Homelite chainsaw and keeping the original chain sharp was difficult. It seemed to get dull much quicker than same size Stihl I also use. I bought this new chain hoping that a better quality chain would improve use and this Oregon PowerSharp would make an easier day when out clearing paddocks. I fitted today which was very easy, at least exactly like a normal replacement job. I then had a few logs that I couldn't split with block axe and set them up and sliced then up. Almost like butter. Very aggressive cut and a bit wider than standard chain but that helped with no bar grabbing deep into the log. A+++ look forward to a whole day testing :)

So far an excellent product
I have a Jonsered chain saw that was not listed as compatible but I have previously bought Oregon bars and chains for this saw. I took a chance that it would fit - not quite. I had to enlarge the hole for tightening the chain. The bar is a fraction too long for my saw and I had to grind off about 1/8th of an inch on end of the bar that fits under the emergency stop. With the mods it fits just fine. I was really skeptical that a new chain design could perform as well as the standard one. I have already cut down a 10 inch diameter poplar and I am amazed at how the new chain performs. It is as fast as the standard chain and unlike my usual drift to the left, it cuts absolutely straight. Sharpening a chain saw is not something I have ever done well and my saw always cuts to the left instead of straight through the log. I have not used this chain enough to require sharpening, but if the sharpener does what it is supposed to do, it will save a huge amount of time. I will sharpen my old chain about 5 times before it is so bad I have to take it to the store and have it sharpened professionally. With the Power Sharp, the saw will be stored with a sharp chain when I next need it. It is not often I find a product that I am truly impressed with. Hats off to Oregon for some neat innovation.

FITS RYOBI 40 VOLT !!!
I put this bar and chain on my RYOBI 40 volt saw. I upgraded it from a 14 inch to 16 inch... so far it works great. The chain performs MUCH better than my last one. Having a great time with it. Havnt had to sharpen it yet, but sharpening device looks solid. Highly recommend.

The ultimate time saver.
No more files and no more filing. Have used the sharpener twice now, and it works as advertized. Very aggressive chain.
