Great for Sensual Play
Its a great wand. Wonderful for sensual play, the amount of power is incredible for the price. The wand I received is all black. Even though it doesn't have the pretty purple color, the fact that its not white like most units is wonderful. It allows for less distraction from the attachments color. The only thing I don't like that there's no way to tell how turned up it is. It would me nice because if I found the spot on the dial where it felt best it would have been nice to be able to find it again without all the testing. This company was wonderful to work with about a problem with my order. I'm a huge fan of both the product and the company, I will buy from them in the future.

Okay
For someone who just wants to try something new and perhaps odd or adventurous, it's okay. The actual power of it is really low on maximum setting. Doesn't act terribly far. For more sensitive parts, it certainly does work, but I'd hope something such as this has a low setting for barely a tingle but still goes high enough to really give a jolt for those who want to play a bit more. Part of my also wishes it was somehow battery powered. In all honesty, the most fun I've had with it thus far is casually walking to the outlet of a friend's wall outlet, plugging it in, inserting an attack, and saying "hey [friend] come here for a second I want to show you something" as I starting turning it on. Due the illumination and that it makes a loud buzzing sound, this can make for great entertainment, and it can shock a person's nipples through clothes. So, for frat boy type pranks, can be fun. With a couple, can also be fun, but obviously it may be a better idea to not try and surprise her with this one. It's not a bad product at all. I wish wish it had a higher power setting. Of course this shouldn't dissuade most people looking at it, since on the most sensitive parts of a person's body the max setting does indeed sting, so for most couples some medium setting would probably provide the stimulation and adventure they're looking for. Plus watching it glow in the dark and arc is pretty neat. I am reluctantly giving it 3 instead of 4 just because of the low power. For others I'd suggest finding a much stronger model, since anywhere else on the body it's not much more than a tingle.

The item you recieve is NOT the one pictured
This item is okay, but not all of the electrodes are of high quality. They do not work with a power tripper (which I tried using for them when the mushroom electrode broke inside of the wand; I was able to pull the small metal piece out with tweezers and luckily the glass was not scratched or fractured). If you explore the other options by amazon, you will find a solid black violet wand for less money (I believe one of the various solid black ones come with a free body pad conductor as well); this is the product you receive (minus the conductor, of course). It works fine; just right for me, but I have a low pain tolerance. My friend enjoyed this product too and wants to buy one for herself (she, however, uses it on its' most powerful setting and wishes that it were a little bit stronger). I would not recommend buying THIS advertised product, but if you're interested in the product after reading the reviews, I would recommend buying the same solid black product for less, but keep in mind that the seller of this product will NOT cooperate with you in the slightest, so make sure you are willing to accept the product as is.

Go find a carpet and rub your feet...
*Preface: Be very sure you want this item before ordering, as there are no returns and no refund on item!* Saw on a tv show people talking about this and mentioning that "at max setting it feels like a tattoo machine". I like tattoos and the sensation of getting them (granted, haven't gotten any in the more painful areas yet). I figured I'd try it out and see if that was true. Well, not really. Opening it up, oddly the box itself is fairly sturdy, with foam cushioning with cutouts to hold all the pieces. The device itself seems somewhat sturdy. The actual glass wands I wasn't so sure about; you jam them into the unit and I was fearful of breaking them either inserting or removing them from the main unit. The manual is a poorly cut out piece of paper the size of a folded napkin, and about as informative, but then this isn't rocket science. Not important but the wire they used to bundle the power cord was the cheapest wrapping wife I've ever seen, and I ended up pulling it apart with my fingers as it couldn't be unraveled. What an odd place to save money. You plug it in, turn it on, and then...not much. I couldn't feel it until I put it at max setting, and even then you have to hold it just barely off your skin so that it will arc. I'm not exaggerating to say I used to get much more intense shocks in grade school running my feet along the library carpet and touching a classmate, or the inverse. At the highest level, the only way I could get any noticeable sensation was by holding it away, then bringing it close to the skin, and then away again, as the sweet spot for an arc with sensation was very small, and as soon as it touches the skin you can't feel it. On a few surfaces I could see how someone said it "feels like a tattoo needle", but the barest ghost of a hint. I couldn't get any sensation in areas that weren't mostly skin (ie back of hands I didn't feel, but back of neck yes). If there is a stronger unit, out there, I'd jump right to that and ignore this one, unless you or your partner have serious sensitivity. I only tried the most "focused" attachment at at max power, so the other wants that diffuse the charge even more, I don't see the point. There isn't even any real amount of light. Added bonus; if you have it on for more than a minute, the room fills with the smell of ozone; I could still smell it some hours (lingered about 2 hours). Sadly, there are no returns on this item and no refunds, so I just spent $100 in order to warn you not to get this.

Seems to work well -- emits ozone smell
Seems to work well -- emits ozone smell so I think this should be used in a ventilated area. Cable could be longer. I'm a bit nervous about removing glass tips and them shattering in fingers so I think i may use leather gloves. -- if you cant get tips to work, verify they are sufficiently seated (gently twist and push in) and turn up the intensity to activate.

Great for beginners
It’s fun. Differently a beginner toy. It’s 50-65% cheaper here then on the “ adult websites”. Grabbed it as a “ maybe let’s try” within a month it’s not strong enough. It your thinking about trying something like this and aren’t 100% then it’s the set to buy. It’s entirely level, beautiful set, fast delivery, easy to switch between wands, max gives a decent level.

Received this item yesterday and it's brilliant! In comparison to the original units of the 1950's or so: I have not noticed any 'ozone smell' from the attachments, The noise is similar to the original, which I like and adds to the play The low is super low, nothing is felt, but the range is good and though high is manageable, we will be using it lower then the highest level. We will be using it for sensation play, not pain. The colour isn't as vibrant as the original, but ok The arc is not far reaching as the original, but ok When using attachments with more points, their is less intensity to it, so you'll need to turn it up, It did run my digital alarm clock forward when it was within 3 feet of it, which was really funny. So take the 'do not use near electronics' advice seriously I like the packaging and each item feels solid and secure in place. Overall so far, I would say it's very worthy of the cost. If I have issues with it the first year, I will post a follow up review Have fun and play safe! Note: if you've never played with electricity before, please do your research and learn about it first! At a minimum, it should NEVER be inserted, kept away from wet area, eyes etc. and you need to know your partner and any health issues they may have.

Not worth it
This product is not worth the price. It barely provides any electro stimulation and my sub said its very light and could barely feel it at full setting. Do yourself a favour and get a better one
